I actually like the Up a lot, but the main problem is that all the desirable options are a cost extra, by which time, you're talking Polo money. This is why Hyundai have nailed it. At this end of the market, value is everything.
True if you want more options on it you might as well just pay a bit more for the Polo.

I understand tastes differ but to say the interior of the Up is like his gran's car?!? His gran clearly has taste then. If anything the Hyundai's interior looks like the preferred choice of any gran (imho).
Overall: It feels like his mind was made up before he began his reviews/tests of the cars. It felt like he was just testing the Aygo and the Up only to justify his choice for the i10

I agree with him: the UP has an old fashioned design, Aygo, Hyundai and Picanto look fresher.
Its funny how this is award winning as its a copy of the Aygo/C1/107.

UP is the Best looking car out of the bunch, this guy has rocks in his head, calls it bland but likes the most bland car in the segment the Hyundai.

Really? I just bought a citigo and with the drivers seat set up for me at 5ft 10” I opened the rear door and sat behind it and my knees were into the back of the driver seat.
