The i10 is the best one IMO. The Aygo is a tinny rollerskate and the VW means you're paying for a badge when you can spend less on the Skoda Citigo or the Seat Mii.
I have driven an Aygo for 30 miles on the motorway and it was frankly terrifying. I felt vey vulnerable in that car and it was underpowered.

nice format!
I don't get it. If you are planning to buy your first car, why on earth would you buy a new one if your budget is that critical? A 5-6 year old car is so much cheaper to buy and probably just as reliable. The depreciation alone will make a new car much more expensive to drive.
well said !!
There's one thing that's certain, the i10 100% doesn't average anywhere near 60mpg
Love or hate the Aygo or the i10 ( I love them ) it will never need a stupid cambelt unlike the Up. Note all the problems of the probs with a Up in Honest John's website.
This was a great video! Why did you split it in four parts I would have also really enjoyed to see one longer video as this was such a well made video! :) I hope to see more like this on the channel, subscribed! :D
Hi Andi, We no longer split videos into parts. Previously, the format was dictated by the way the content was produced for our digital magazine. Thanks for subscribing!

I want a car, I'm planning to keep it for just one year, should I buy new or check in the second hand market to get a nicer car?
+Carlitox b If you are going to sell it in a year, you should avoid buying a new car as you will lose money on the depreciation. We would suggest looking at something nearly new, maybe a year or two old to avoid the initial depreciation.
the Picanto looks so much nicer than the i10 outside, though the i10 looks nicer inside
+Josh Squires this is why there are so many different cars because my opinion is that the picanto is one ugly car
+Edward Walker I agree
It seems that a lot of reviews point out road noise in a Hyundai.
That's because the rest of the car is so quiet that the road noise stands out. I've driven one and was seriously impressed.
Far more relevent than road tax cost is service and maintenance costs, which you do not mention, along with the likelihood of unexpected costs such as minor damage not worth putting an insurance claim for. Also the reliability if it is used as a commuter.
Is'nt this this guy the accountant for the cali cartel in narcos?
my little brother had an i10 , and he loved it, until he didnt. interior design isnt the best one. but its nice feeling driving it. I have an i20 from 2018, and i just love it. best car i have been driving. the feeling of feeling sophisticated is just everywhere. but again the interior design isnt the best one but for the safety of my kids and for practical use its clearly good.
I might be about to get an i20. The i10 is nice enough, but it's a bit underpowered and I know that the smaller boot will just irritate me at some point.
Clarissa McPigeon me and my wife bought one i20 and its been nice for us. We got two kids and they got enough space in the back. But one thing thats been annoying is that when AC is active it can be a bit hard to control the steering at high speed. But when u turn it off u get good grip again.
Vw up is great car
