The Bronx Is Beautiful

This is from Bronx native Robert Klein's classic 1984 "Child of the '50s, Man of the '80s" HBO special taped at NYU. The song has never been released commercially by Mr. Klein, nor, as far as I can tell, has it shown up on DVD. The quality isn't great...this was originally recorded on VHS direct from HBO when it first aired, so the ...tape is at least 26 years old. It was then dubbed to DVD, and now downloaded. Hope all the Bronx brothers and sisters enjoy this...as well as those of you who know my loyalty to my home borough. Enjoy!

I'm from the same area and neighborhood he grew up in. I've always love that there was a song about the Bronx. And for those if you don't know the Bronx has more green space that and the other parole in New York City

I lived there from 1969-1975; some of my friends lived in the same building as Klein and remembered him from the building. Believe me, I know about the Bronx's green space!!
