Couldn't sing normal and really she only got the accolades that she got because her mother what's Sissy Houston her aunt was Dionne Warwick? And she comes from a famous family of singers. If she would have never been with those people and just a regular girl on the street she would have never ever made anything of herself because she didn't really. Have. Arranged? Of voice? That many female singers. Have? She couldn't sing anywhere near as well as Karen Carpenter or Dusty Springfield or Celine Dion or many of the other women that were actually spectacular singers.

My only negative thought is that this little girl will be forced to not have a healthy childhood that she deserves at the age she is at. I think the parents should be encouraging their sweet and innocent girl to have fun and wait until you are no longer so young. This comment can either way. I feel the subject matter of the song was inappropriate, far too mature for her. Why didn't her parents insist on a choice of song about dreams for her future, something inspirational instead of a song about a meaningless one night stand?!? I was floored, if not appalled that they were more caught up in her being appealing to this over-sexualized dominant culture than protecting their child - and I'm not a prude by any stretch.
Fabulous talent, magnificent voices each and every one of them. Yet strangely, Whitney Houston shone even more brightly and eclipsed all of them! No slight against any one of these singers - they all made me gasp and my heart tremble with joy. Belinda Davids certainly had the edge with the more mature voice, she was channelling Whitney more closely. Then the 11 year old singer pulled at all my heart strings and tears rolled and rolled.
