One (of the many) things I've always loved about Mike Myers is that... he's an entertainer who never forgot the first rule of being an comedian is comedy... not politics, not buzzwords, and absolutely NO preaching... it's to make EVERYBODY in the room laugh, no matter your or their beliefs, make... them... laugh... both at the stage, at each other, and at themselves, so that ultimately we're all laughing with each other. THAT'S entertainment...

@@typhoonf6 didn't say he isn't recognizable, said he is not appreciated as comedian . Everyone recognizes him
@@happysaffa8871 Bruh. most people loved austin powers. A comedy film?
@@JimmyBoy9878 bruh, I loved it, and so did my friends, but it's not as well known among people. Also, no bruh pls.
I didn't know that Mike Myers was sucha well spoken and deeply thinking dude. This interview gave me new respect for him
Imagine the universe where he actually got to do a Shrek movie every year.
I imagine it gets the hype and marketing as the marvel universe but instead it's the shreklore
@@SageLegacy shrekiverse of madness

Hes still around, we can still make it this universe
Then it would’ve got burnt out quick!
We needed a 30 minute version Mike! Clooney got 35 minutes and every character of his is exactly the same!
Then you have missed alot of Clooney movies
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY SWAMP?!?!?!”
-Mike Myers
He's gotta be one of the only actors that made so much money that he basically retired without making a big deal about it.
His love for everything is as pure if not more than like Robin Williams and I cherish you for it Mike
Myers is incredibly well spoken. Would love to see more interviews featuring him.
Absolute legend and vey underrated when people bring up who are the best comedians
Too true
Agreed
I love you, Mike. You are legit my favorite actor of all time. You made my childhood and inspire me as an adult with interest in film. Thank you for bringing so much joy to this world while still often being one of the most under appreciated actors out there.
This man is a legend. He's created such iconic characters that have stretched over generations.
One of the GOATS 🙌🏾 highly skilled versatile actor!
Always enjoyed Mike Myers.
he made my childhood funny.
and he's a proud Canuck 🇨🇦
One (of the many) things I've always loved about Mike Myers is that... he's an entertainer who never forgot the first rule of being an comedian is comedy... not politics, not buzzwords, and absolutely NO preaching... it's to make EVERYBODY in the room laugh, no matter your or their beliefs, make... them... laugh... both at the stage, at each other, and at themselves, so that ultimately we're all laughing with each other.
THAT'S entertainment...
Mike’s voice will forever be so special!!!! His acting is extraordinary, and the way he’s done it is amazing. I agree with him even as an adult, One Shrek a year would be amazing.
Shrek has been my whole childhood. My all-time favourite animated movie. Thank you, Mike Myers 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Shrek 1 and Shrek 2 are perfect
I'm still here. You're older now, but I will never go away. I'm watching you.
@@Goated_EddieBrock a perfect duo!
Shrek 2 is one of the few movies where the sequel was better than the first
@@jordanwilliams1546 Shrek 2 built upon a cinematic masterpiece.
Love them all!!! Took my girls to see all the Austin Powers even twice. Back then when they were kids they laughed now that they're adults they laugh!!!! And we spent time together!!!
As a Scotsman, I’m thankful for everything Mike has done for us.
Mike Myers is a genius. His Japanese gameshow sketch is still one best skits in SNL history.

@@thisguy3500 Kwa ki ser pi…PI…ku! Ohhh!! 🤷🏻♂️⚡️
So stoked to see him doing some stuff again, latest Netflix show was pretty decent. Myers is a legend!
Awww... love Mike Myers! Missed him so much! It feels so good to have him back!
My favourite role of Mike is Austin Powers because they perfectly casted him as Austin Powers because it is a James Bond parody
He casted himself tf
I love that he always gives credit to those he worked with such a talented comedic actor and in dramatic roles as well
I've watched a ton of videos on RUclips featuring actors and actresses diving into their previous roles and talking about their careers... I think I enjoyed this one the most. Mike Myers definitely seems like a very genuine, humble, and intelligent guy. Canada eh?
Canadian with a Liverpool background you won't get much more genuine than that.
Mike is such a lovely person that has brought joy and laughter to so many people. He deserves all of the happiness in the world!
What a lovely, sincere and genuine man.
He was so brilliant in Bohemian Rhapsody. Had no idea it was even him!
He also had a role as a general in Inglourious Basterds...
You almost cant tell because of the whole costume and make up, but he has very expresive eyes
Yes they should have mentioned that one in the video
@@pantera_909 One of my favorite cameos!!
Operation Kino!
Youd have to be deaf and blind
Austin Powers was an integral part of my childhood along with Tobey Maguire’s & Raimi’s Spiderman trilogy.
Mine too
Nailed it, I bet you also had pretty cool parents growing up too
Same here. I remember watching all the Austin Powers and Spiderman movies in the theater.
A man of quality
Same here!
WE LOVE YOU MIKE MYERS! Easily one of my top 3 favorite actors. Up there with Norm McDonald and Robin Williams, God rest their souls. You've brought millions of smiles throughout your career. You are a national treasure! Never change.
So glad he included so I married an axe murderer. Always been a family favorite, and we love how clearly you can see some of the precursors to Austin Powers
An absolute 90s classic!
Literally my favorite actor. Someone who simply loves to create, have fun and express themselves. What more could you ask for?
Loved seeing this insight into the characters and how so much of what makes Mike Myers Mike (his family, life as a child, and world view) helped to create them. Wonderful video.
Mike, your humbleness makes you more than worthy. "Party on Wayne!"
Didn’t appreciate how well he’s aging because everyone I see him he’s covered in prosthetics. And so happy for how much love he’s been showing Dana on this press tour.
It's called Botox and a facelift.
@@JohnSmith-yd5wq That's what happens when you're friends with Rob Lowe.
@@JohnSmith-yd5wq because everyone who has had those looks wonderful 😂
Wow this makes me like him even more. He’s so down to earth and I love his take on Shrek!!!!!
Didn't think Axe Murderer would get a mention. As much as I loved Wayne, Axe Murderer is my fave of Mike's films, infinitely quotable!
It's my friend's favorite movie. And it's a great one.
Head! Paper! Now!
Absolutely infinitely quotable! Axe Murderer is one of my fav movies ever and I Pretty much have it all memorized😊
When I was little I use to think he played the character Michael Meyers too🤣
Mike really is a transformationist when it comes to his film roles. He's got a natural sense of comedic timing in films, but he also has a well of characters and roles he can play in one film. He can pull off playing 4 characters in a comedy film while having them all have their own personalities it is really intelligent.
I grew up with Wayne’s World developing my humor for life - one of the best comedies ever.
