    Awesome video! Super well thought out, designed, and edited! Got me REALLY considering getting a teleprompter for my videos LOL. Learning a lot from your videos, so thank you so so much! Keep em coming!

      Thanks for the awesome comment. I really appreciate it. Sometimes I'll make a video like this where, I doubt it will get many views... but I still want to make it awesome anyway. So knowing it's appreciated means a lot. Comments like yours are so inspiring and keep the energy alive 👊 and ya you should lol I'll share which one I recommend soon!

    I'm so glad I found you! I just watched my own 3rd video and you can clearly see that I was reading from my whiteboard next to my laptop (which I use for filming), I don't have a camera yet. I think getting a teleprompter and setting it up on my laptop for now would even be better at this point. I tried using a teleprompter app directly on my laptop but you can still tell I'm reading and it drives me crazy!

      lol! It DOES take practice and time to get good... it sounds like you're on the right path! Some people just like bullet points and winging it... I do this some times. I've been winging it lately and you definitely miss points. My best most efficient videos are always when I use the teleprompter. I really love using it! Good luck with your video!!

      I can't remember if you mentioned... do you use a teleprompter? I like the fast flow of your vids but perhaps you can sound natural just with the quick edits and don't need to write it down.

      @thesahdstudio I've actually used a prompter for courses in the past. It was quite incredible. The prompter itself was a GlideGear. I had the exact same issue with the form factor. I also think that particular prompter was blocking heat dissipation(which is already poor with the zve1). I'm in the process of building out a stationary A-Cam setup. I need reliable heat management for live seminars and longer videos.
      Do you find that the plastic prompter weighs down on the lens too much?

    Im new at the teleprompter thingy and video edting. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself when you said you dont like to watch vids where you can tell people r reading off a script. I have a similar issue. Watching vids where someone does not have smooth cuts. I am not sure if you were in a hurry with this one or you are still in the learning phase like me, but you had a lot of bad cuts in this vid.

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  Месяц назад +1

      Yeah that's kind of what this channel is about, me sharing what I'm learning as I'm going to help my audience save time and learn faster than I did! Good luck with yours, hopefully you can learn from my mistakes 😆

    Heard the call to action but the video doesn't appear to be ready yet! I also see that for some reason the notification bell got turned off for me. So, I'm re-engaging it again. Looking forward to your next video about WHICH teleprompter and app you use.

      It's coming soon 👊😄 And good to see you in the comments again! How are things going with your RUclips efforts? Looks like you've been busy and getting some traction with your vids! Nice. As you're starting to find RUclips likes some topics better than others. This teleprompter stuff for example is really fun for me to create but I know that these videos won't get any views which, to be honest takes the wind out of my sails a bit. I'm still going to put the effort into making them but jeez, if you make more money talking about popular topics, you can see why most RUclips channels do that.

    • @TimBrownTown
      @TimBrownTown 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@thesahdstudio Well, I certainly appreciate the insight on teleprompters because although I can write well, I can't talk for more than 30 seconds without fumbling through my thoughts. And Yes. This is exactly what I'm seeing when it comes to views. I know they say to replace "algorithm" with audience, but it's not that easy. I had a couple popular videos, and made follow up videos that were much better videos with more information but did much worse. I usually make a video when I find something that isn't already being talked about by the larger channels. Perhaps that's our mistake? Perhaps the alpha-influencers are what drive the algorithm and not the other way around?
      Anyway, I still enjoy doing my thing...

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  5 месяцев назад +2

      @@TimBrownTown Yeah good points. Things to chew on for sure. Slow and steady I think. Really the successful people have been doing it 5+ years. I haven't had time to be that consistent but I'm confident my channels will continue to grow. Will it be enough to make a living though? We'll see about that. It's not moving as fast as I expected and it bounces around a lot. You'd think when you make MORE videos you make MORE money. Funny how that hasn't been the case for me.

    • @TimBrownTown
      @TimBrownTown 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@thesahdstudio I have a thought. Maybe it's wanting you to stick to a more specific niche (which I don't want to do either). To test this theory, i looked at @DannyBlack He has over 100k subs and had videos hit over 300k views, but when he posts a video of some random piece of tech, looks like he's struggling to get over 1k (sometimes 500 views on them).

    I can't use a script. I just freestyle even on TV and it just looks and sounds much better. It depends on the person, I guess. It just adds confusion and puts me off. I would rather have my notes around me and I'm just used to explaining. Naturally and as a profession (a teacher lol). But I really love your videos and how you look natural. I wouldn't know you've been using a teleprompter if not told.

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  5 месяцев назад +2

      That's interesting you say it adds confusion... maybe for someone like you, you feel it limits you and your ability to spontaneously describe what you are feeling in the moment. Where for someone like me, when that spotlight is on and I might usually freeze up, it allows me to tap into the creative mind I get when no one is watching or I'm not under pressure. Hopefully the video helps someone who is trying to get better with a teleprompter and perhaps didn't realize they could use it in this way.
      Thanks for the comment. Hope you're well.

    • @Bo_Hazem
      @Bo_Hazem 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@thesahdstudio Indeed. Not every tool is for everyone. I usually can't focus on more than one task, maybe that what makes me confused and stutter and look weird. But without anything I a have a good flow of words and expressions, even on TV.
      Actually to me you look the most natural using a teleprompter compared to all youtubers I watch who use teleprompters, so if someone really wants that then can't really achieve it better than following your precious tips! Hope the best for you and your lovely family.

    Why didn’t you show how you have it setup with the camera ... as in where is the camera, how is it recording - through, above or from the side of the teleprompter ... kind of important. The whole time I’m watching and thinking when are we going to see it… still thinking and this is the second video I’m seeing talking about it but not really seeing it ... 🤷‍♂️

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  5 месяцев назад +1

    Love the video, but come on man... linus is one of the most natural "on camera" people there is... whether in some videos you can tell if he is reading from a teleprompter

    • @thesahdstudio
      @thesahdstudio  5 месяцев назад +1

      Haha oh Linus is 100% one of the best, most natural people on screen. I guess I meant more for his ad reads and stuff... But if he's gotten to the point where he doesn't have to try hard or prepare to get through a sponsored segment then all the power to him.
