Do people really do the rocks in a pillowcase thing 😆 I live in the UK and like buying carhartt wip clothes because they're good quality and there's is alot of low quality clothing in the UK! I just can't understand why you would then want to make it look like it years old and ware it out when it's new 🤔
Carhartt for example has W.I.P. Line which is the same thing and there regular line like you mentioned but the materials are different I did what you guys mentioned. I got both regular carhartt and there WIP version the material total different soft and smoother compared to the regular ruff. Now for Tshirts I would do the mark up WIP version and for jackets get the regular version. 280 for a jacket is pretty high.

ik y’all are just making a quick video off this, but honestly i have a couple things to say about this video and generally the 5 rules/do’s and don’t’s of ____. first of all, the vintage workwear trend is played out already bc people on ig copy and paste the same fits over and over again. so right off the bat y’all are late lol. and when it comes to “rules” in terms of fashion, i think that kinda defeats the purpose. fashion is about freedom and expression, so confining yourself to, first of all, a trend that’s going to go away within probably a year or even less, and to then, confine yourself within a smaller set of rules within a trend is basically how u end up just looking like everybody else. i think well worn pieces are ok and can be styled to look good. especially since many of us, at one point or another, has payed for pre distressed clothes (which i believe you have even made yourself). i have been a subscriber of the channel since way way back, and obviously i like your content and everything y’all do, and will continue to support. i sound like i’m butthurt over a video, i promise i’m not, but i gotta just disagree on this one. if there’s one thing i think people should do when it comes to fashion it’s make deliberate choices in your wardrobe. trends are fine and it’s okay to buy into them, but it’s not very rewarding to do things just because everyone else is. and confining yourself to rules within fashion set by someone else, kinda defeats the whole purpose. just my two cents i’m not coming at anybody’s neck.
For real I like these guys been watching for years. I hate this trend I am a welder and construction worker stop being posers this is lame! Almost disrespectful to blue collar guys
Lol all you guys sitting here arguing about the ethics of work wear as fashion, it's really stale! Designers have been doing this for a long time, so I understand how some people might see it as appropriation but there are so many different examples of this that go back years. Flannel shirts, aviators, camo patterns; none of these started as fashion items, all were meant to serve a specific purpose while on the job. So it makes sense to me why this has become a thing, and since I started buying Carhartt about 4 years ago I discovered as many others did that they make quality clothing!
Strangely, Carhart work pants run sort of small in the waist. I wear a 34 usually and got the 36 carpenter pants in both khaki and blue, and both pairs are fairly tight for a 36. So be warned, maybe go up 2 sizes from your usual waist size.
They got that whole section wrong; carhartt’s are so stiff when brand new that ‘breaking them in’ is an necessity to me. I wear them to work in the cold Indiana winters, it’s not for that distressed look but most farm stores and construction stores around my area suggest covering them with rocks and washing on a heavy cycle for flexibility when working.
I have an Ollies Bargain Outlet near me and the other day I found a really heavy and thick canvas jacket. Tried it on and it felt nice. Marked down to like $25. Wasn’t Carhartt or anything but it was still a heavy duty jacket. Grabbed one for me and my gf.

Pretty surprised you guys don’t know the difference between inline carhartt and carhartt WIP. The cuts , colors , and materials are all different from one another.
Pacsun makes some pretty cheap stuff that looks cool and durable

LOL driving up prices for people that actually work. Coastal elites just stop
Yup. Last time I went to the work store there was atleast 5 kids wearing jordans and snapbacks asking for jackets... sigh
Thank you
Thanks for the great content Mr. Richie! Today is my 17th birthday and I've been watching your content since I was 14 and I can say that you're one of the youtubers who have made a difference in my life, keep up the great work!
One of my pals does sometimes wears workwear as casual but the dudes a car salesmen I'm a general builder and kind of wear workish style clothes
Feel like you’re making fun of us guys who do physical labor. On the flip side, we’d probably clown you if we saw you with your “work” outfit lol
this was clearly a video surrounding the fashion aspect of workwear lmao relax jock
tone the ego down
Incredible. I got called a jock 😆@@Chris-ex4sz
@@timothyroberts1159 lmao you sound insecure af
What size Carharrt is Richie wearing in the vid?
Retired construction worker, a lot of today's work cloths are nowhere close to what was made back in the day.
In Europe we only have Carhartt WIP, so no thrifts or banged up Detroit jackets.
Yeah we overpay, but we get modern cuts made for casual wear, and the quality is pretty nice when compared to other hype brands.
I've worked in construction and have a lot of Carhartt gear that I can actually wear casual and some most are new
Rich can you do a video on "Do's and Don'ts of Summer / Spring wear" with spring slowly showing up... Please?
Big fan Richie love the vids🔥

ik y’all are just making a quick video off this, but honestly i have a couple things to say about this video and generally the 5 rules/do’s and don’t’s of ____. first of all, the vintage workwear trend is played out already bc people on ig copy and paste the same fits over and over again. so right off the bat y’all are late lol. and when it comes to “rules” in terms of fashion, i think that kinda defeats the purpose. fashion is about freedom and expression, so confining yourself to, first of all, a trend that’s going to go away within probably a year or even less, and to then, confine yourself within a smaller set of rules within a trend is basically how u end up just looking like everybody else. i think well worn pieces are ok and can be styled to look good. especially since many of us, at one point or another, has payed for pre distressed clothes (which i believe you have even made yourself). i have been a subscriber of the channel since way way back, and obviously i like your content and everything y’all do, and will continue to support. i sound like i’m butthurt over a video, i promise i’m not, but i gotta just disagree on this one. if there’s one thing i think people should do when it comes to fashion it’s make deliberate choices in your wardrobe. trends are fine and it’s okay to buy into them, but it’s not very rewarding to do things just because everyone else is. and confining yourself to rules within fashion set by someone else, kinda defeats the whole purpose. just my two cents i’m not coming at anybody’s neck.
two more things btw, i agree not to overpay! great point that i tend to even overlook, also where is the mnml story!!
Who’s the player with knee pads between the two Jordan pics?
>dudes who never did a day of manual labor tell you every day labor fashion........
shalom! are you also jewish?
lol even if they aren't, there sponsors are!
Lmao is this really what everyone is doing 😂 I can’t rn
Which brand is the black/grey denim jacket from the guy on the right?
Is the guy on the right wearing a Carhartt jacket in this video?
Strangely, Carhart work pants run sort of small in the waist. I wear a 34 usually and got the 36 carpenter pants in both khaki and blue, and both pairs are fairly tight for a 36. So be warned, maybe go up 2 sizes from your usual waist size.
Hey guys, one question, whats the best scarthart street jacket for you guys..thanks for your response..avid fan here
Bro, where I live there are only M, S sizes for Carhartt
I’ve been wisened by such “don’ts”. Thanks for the save

@@jasminkhan1012 I’ve always been overlaying for the look and try too hard when distressing my own clothes. Thanks
Workwear is great I already get a headstart wardrobe from my dad
They aren't marking up prices on Carhartt. Its their higher quality brand Carhartt WIP.
ruclips.net/video/FbmoPTbtZsg4/видео.html2
True true
It's not higher quality, the older made in USA pieces are better.
@@MLGBrownCat think he meant it’s their “fashion line”

What a weird trend. Smashing a new jacket with rocks in a pillow case?? Wild
For real, distressing stuff on purpose looks so corny
They got that whole section wrong; carhartt’s are so stiff when brand new that ‘breaking them in’ is an necessity to me. I wear them to work in the cold Indiana winters, it’s not for that distressed look but most farm stores and construction stores around my area suggest covering them with rocks and washing on a heavy cycle for flexibility when working.
My firm 12oz duck broke in in a week tops. If you’re yenno, actually WORKING in it.. Its pretty corny and unauthentic imo to distress it on purpose.
People cut their girlfriends skinny jeans before they made them for men in the late 00s .
Richieee where'd you get the flannel mannnn
I work at a store that sells Carhartt, you’re lucky to get 1 piece in a size small in a shipment
I work at Hurley and we have a collab w them and it’s the opposite problem
what is the name of the grey carhat jacket 9:13
I have an Ollies Bargain Outlet near me and the other day I found a really heavy and thick canvas jacket. Tried it on and it felt nice. Marked down to like $25. Wasn’t Carhartt or anything but it was still a heavy duty jacket. Grabbed one for me and my gf.
