i like the format because it gives me a quick glimpse into brands i'm not familiar with. i would change the 'trash' category to 'not for me' because some people can't afford issey mitake or fear of god. trash is a little harsh if those are the only brands people can afford.
but overall great job tim!

Completely disagree with Gap. It's way better than Zara with quality and even h&m. Should be in the would buy section.
Reiss and Ralph ranked mid is criminal and other brands with lower quality are ranked higher 🤨
Reiss has fallen off a cliff in terms of quality after being acquired by Next.
Massimo Dutti pieces are very good quality. I’m a broke 10th grader so I can’t afford a lot of stuff even from there, but when I wanna treat myself with something nice, I go there. Got myself 2 QUALITY T-shirts, black and white. 30€ each but I say it’s absolutely worth it since I don’t have Uniqlo stores in my country. Also got a quarter zip sweater which I love
I feel the same. I especially like their knitwear collection. Feels very rich in texture, fits well, and had some nice colors as well.
Their wool/leather stuff has got to be the best of the best. You can feel the purity of the materials when you wear them and it’s a beautiful feeling

Would have been quite helpful if you mentioned the fabric and build quality of the brands in this lists so we could sort of personalize it based on our style preference.

GAP is really great quality and value for money, IF one knows what to pick. For me, up there with Uniqlo.
Muji Labo mec, minimalistic, yet edgy. Definitely at least a tier above classic Muji clothes.

Some of these I just can’t tell apart with the oversized/relaxed fits and minimalist designs
Most of my recent clothes have come from River Island and Next (where Next didn't make your list - where would it fall Tim?), but I have been branching out in to Uniqlo very recently, especially as I have seen a lot of your videos hyping them up..!
Unfortunately, I have found that most (maybe 60%) of the T-shirts I have bought from River Island have shrunk in the wash after X amount of wears, which is a shame... so in terms of quality perhaps they are towards the lower tiers.
Most of the brands in this video I have not heard of, and I think that is due to not being a fashionista and not really shopping in central London (more like Crawley and Sutton for me haha...) - plus I don't do online shopping. I do wonder if most of these brands would be far out of my budget, but I will check some of them out, so thanks!
I think this format is fine, but as others have pointed out, maybe having the lower tier as "not for me" rather than "trash" may be a nicer way to put it for those that shop at those stores - although, even though River Island has been declared trash... I don't care much..!
Ahh, I do wish for the days where I can spend over £25 on a T-shirt or over £60 on a jacket and for it not to feel like a big investment - for any bros/brosettes reading this, we will get there!

Yeah, can't see Zara being above RL and GAP either. Zara clothes fall apart as soon as it hits the washer. Even they don't even recommend laundering their own clothes.

Trash. Not only the fabric quality and durability is pretty bad, but their price is average. I would totally spend a little more to get better quality clothes.

They are basically trash but there are occasionally hidden gems in H&M for me. So I still like to explore H&M.

Uniqlo C sometimes can't be judged without trying and wearing. They look simple at first glance but they make my wife looks really great after she wear them and I don't know why.

thanks i won't see the standout brands anytime soon (cuz i'm a broke student) but at least i know what to avoid which is the mid and trash category. I'm broke but that doesn't mean i don't have taste, watching your videos made me realize that it's better to have a few timeless pieces that go well with everything rather than having 10 different shirts but never use them cuz they don't go with anything or it's just not your style overall. Fast fashion dies fast, i wanna learn how to dress from you (even tho i'm a female but that doesn't mean anything)

If you're into a tailored fit, Calving Klein knows how to cut the garment for a tailored fit. Even women's dresses are well fitted.

not a fan of this format tbh. one thing I like about your videos is that they're always positive (try this, try that, get inspired by this, etc), but this format forces you to be negative (this is trash, this is bad, you look ugly if you wear this)

In Japan, some people don’t like wearing Uniqlo because they might be seen as lazy or not putting effort into their appearance. Overall Uniqlo is good but basic.
