Good to have another vlog again. I was relieved to learn that your near “extremely devasating” incident was only a disappearing drone. I know how important a camera drone might be to a vlogger; but then, I got my first travel experiences in remote parts of the world, a long time ago, before there were such things as drones (or, for that mater, wi-fi, seemingly a “life-or’death” preoccupation for many tourists these days). Back then a “disaster” would have been, say, a bus crash, a sinking boat, an unexpected arrest, a robbery (for it was all cash then, no credit cards and therefore no credit card reimbusements), or a strange tropical disease. Though I wouldn’t be happy about it, a lost drone, I think, I could handle!
The Mundo King castle was, I admit, quite a visual spectacle, though it doubt it could ever be my favorite site in the country, as it was yours. Visually unusual as it was, it seemed to me a diversion away from the general trend of Dominican history and culture. Still, I would probably see it if I were in the area.
For all that, I do think you did great work in giving a different “take” on the Dominican Republic - different, that is, from the usual stuff we read about beaches, rum drinks, and all-inclusive resorts. It’s also gratifying to see in this vlog, as in an earlier one, the way your mother gets into it all. At least in the parts you present, she never stops smiling - not a bad approach to travel!
And there's the disaster of the jealous boyfriend or husband of the girl who seduced you coming after you for messin' with his girl... Maybe that's just a thing of the old days.
hahaha it was a bit dramatic of a word wasn't it! 😂😂😂 Amazing to remember travel in those days 🙌🏼 way cooler than the Cush life of drones we live in now! 😂 I totally understand the sentiment of Mundo King Castle. I think a better description than "favorite site" would have been "most unique site." Clearly, I'm not great at choosing descriptor words! 😂 For me, anytime I see a grand expression of creativity, it's something I greatly admire and appreciate. That's what this place was mostly about for me. I'm so glad you enjoyed it and you're exactly right about my Mom, she is such a light and always smiling! Always an inspiration to me. Thank you for the words and for watching!

That's a colorful bike! What is it, a basic old school air cooled 250 four stroke? Chinese? It's made to look like a serious bike, it'll be interesting to see what you think. I hope you get to take it on some cool trails and experience a wild ride!

It was a 250 but honestly don't know a whole lot about it. It wasn't the bike I went with (it had a nail for a shifter! 😂 and also was a bit far away from where my Mom was staying) but you'll see more details in the video this week! Or today rather! Thanks for the message and thanks for watching!
The DR has a slogan that says “DR has it all” they are not joking. If you want to be cold , there is a place for that, it has over 200 beaches, it is beautiful!!

Thank you!! I use a GoPro and sometimes my iPhone! I edit with Adobe Rush, only reason I chose that is bc I get a free account from my sister! I'm so glad you enjoy!
