      Ease out the clutch and you will feel starting to move then once it's moving you will be ok. screw the 2nd bs and pop the clutch you could flip it over and get hurt..

    Wow! That was a really wonderful vlog! Although happening on the outside you brought us along a journey on the inside with a beautiful happy ending and realizations! Very inspiring! Thank you Tammy! I will try to to do it next time that way too instead of first getting something fixed before I can do the journey.

      @MindBodyMotoGirl  4 месяца назад +1

      Was that the spark plug he fixed?! Thought the spark plugs are hard to get to? I really have no idea. It seemed like a hose of some sort. But in the next video you'll see... it was only a short term fix...so the adventure continues! 😂

      @@MindBodyMotoGirl @denallison It is hard to see but @15:48 that's what it looks like he's doing. I am confused by the plastic bag he was buying, usually spark plugs come in small paper boxes about lipstick size. You may have more footage where it can be seen. I am surprised the engine did not wanna start on starter motor, yet it ran fine once bumpstarted. If the plug was really bad, it shouldn't run. But honestly, I am not an expert. I'd be curious to know for sure how it was fixed :)
      And yes, sparkplugs are sometimes hard to get to, but usually not on these small engine offroady bikes. On your Bmw, it would probably be much harder, the engine is bigger and all the plastics or gas tank would be too close. But on the even bigger engine BMWs with boxer engine (where the cylinders stick out to each side), it is even easier then on this rental. Just depends on a bike (or car...)

    Watching your struggles with starting poor Gato was painful. I'm sure that many readers have told you the proper way to Bump start a bike, by now and maybe even advised against pumping the throttle while engaging the starter. It was fun watching you making Lemonade from the lemons you were given! I've heard that the best way to make a new friend is to ask for help. Hang in there, Warrior!

What a gift. I noticed that bounce too, some others seem to emphasize that too, good to know! So true, I kinda love how my little skills build slowly slowly through experience that life just brings my way 🙌🏼🙏🏼 Love that you love the coconuts too! Thanks so much as always!! 🤗🤗🤗🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

    With a car or a bike you have to get to a good speed then pop the clutch - you shouldn't be trying the electric start while popping the clutch. To be clear you either use the electric or the kick or you pop it in gear no combination! good luck!

    • @MindBodyMotoGirl
      @MindBodyMotoGirl  4 месяца назад

      Huh, interesting! I'm not sure I totally understand what you are saying though? Appreciate the tips and thank you!!

    • @gercook52
      @gercook52 4 месяца назад

      @@MindBodyMotoGirl Sorry - think of it this way - if you were starting a car you wouldn't dream of turning the key while the car was in gear. The car ( or the bike in this case ) needs to be in neutral before you try the electric starter. Bump or pop starts involve getting the car or bike up to a speed where the engine would normally running. You get up to this speed in neutral but then you try to pop the clutch so that the engine hopefully catches. is that any clearer?

    • @JoeH773Sp
      @JoeH773Sp 4 месяца назад

      @@gercook52 ooff, that's a little confusing. If the motorcycle is (kept) in neutral, it will not start by the "bumpstarting" method Tammy showed in the video. To start like that there needs to be "direct hard connection" between the rear (or driven) wheel and the engine. The engine needs to be turned by something instead of the starter motor and in this case the rear wheel will serve. But between the rear wheel and an engine is a transmission and if it is in neutral then there is no "hard direct" connection at that moment (just like there isn't one when squeezing the clutch in).
      But you are correct, the starter button is not needed when bumpstarting. Again, the rear wheel is used to spin the engine, the starter motor is not.
      The procedure is: find a hill or person to push, turn the key (ignition) on, put moto into 2nd gear, squeeze the clutch in and hold it in there so you can start moving, start moving, and at decent speed quickly release the clutch while being ready to pull it back in in case you don't wanna keep moving/going.
      (not sure why it's called popping the clutch, i'd call it "dumping the clutch" if you wanna keep going right away.)
      The reason we do not hit the starter button when an engine is running in a car or motorcycle, whether in neutral or not, is because the starter's sprocket will have hard time meshing with the engine's flywheel teeth trying to spin it but it would just grind trying and eventually grind off or break off.
      Anyway, great job on asking for help, Tammy! Adventure for sure.

    • @gercook52
      @gercook52 4 месяца назад

      @@JoeH773Sp I think we are saying the same thing!! If you try to push a car or a bike while it is in gear it is a dead wait. You use the clutch to disengage the gear until you have worked up enough speed for the wheels to be turning fast enough, then you 'pop' the clutch

      @@MindBodyMotoGirl Ok the main thing i was saying was that with a bike you can try the electric or the kick or a jump start. You cant try two of them at the same time. Bump or jump start does not involve using the button or the kick start. do you understand the bump start now?
