Love your stuff Randy. I was there when Herbie Reed broke out the prototype of the sluggo at a 2day tourney on Candlewood lake. Showed people the bait and most thought it looked stupid and never would catch a fish. Then he proceeded to cast it next to our boats while we were waiting and I'll tell you, the action was like nothing anyone ever saw at that time. A true one of a kind bait back then. Aahhh the good Ol days lol

I've had the same package of those slugo gaits in my tackle box for as long as I can remember. The reason I still have them is because I could never get them to catch anything for me. I see now that I was fishing them wrong.
