Rigging a Slug-Go

2020 and still using the Sluggo in Florida in black with gold flake to mimic a wild shiner.

My top three personal best bass are on Slug-go's. I leave the eye exposed on mine and the fish don't mind. When the bite is light I trail a #2 bait-keeper behind a 5/0 off set long shank hook to get those nibblers.

This plastic bait's action looks very life like when rigged weightless. I like the way it darts and glides through the water when twitched with the rod tip.

That's a 4/0 Off-Set hook. They came with the Slug-O's with the package back when they !st came out. Great bait fore skipping under docks

I use these every year for stripe bass fishing on Cape Cod and kill it. I also rig them wright less with a worm hook just like this.

*I would say it’s dang good since **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s caught a pike first time using it! My cousin had one that cost the same price I paid, but for one. And didn’t catch anything. I say it’s a winner!*
