Randy what I love about your channel is you are unapologetically you, and I think that is why your channel will continue to do well, you also know a lot would love a private fishing class maybe oneday
Can't wait to try it. I've already caught several including a 6-5 using your big spinnerbait/trailer tip. Thank you for your info and I also enjoy hearing your thoughts/views.
Hey Randy great video(s) . Just a tip I'd like to pass along that helps with rigging any bait (such as a fluke type bait ) with a hook slot you won't need . If you put some swim bait glue in the hook slot and lightly pinch it together until dry it makes rigging on a jighead (or your flufke rigging) so much easier since you you end up with a solid belly don't have to be perfect hitting that thin layer of plastic along the top of the bait with the hook .
I’ve had days y’all would not believe on a yellow and a white trick worm! Mid April through end of may. Like randy said they gotta be in the right mood but when they are hang on!
Darn, wish I would have seen this yesterday morning. Went bank fishing on a clear lake(15ft vis) and the bass are definitely cruising the shallows. Even saw a few true giants hanging around stumps and laydowns. Going back to try these!
My 2 favorite tactics in 1 video. Bombing a $200 swimbait is cool if you're making a fishing hype video. But in reality I'm so focused on not losing that bait it makes me a nervous wreck. I'll take a fluke or trick worm any day over swimbait fishing. Using a elaztic worm doesn't seem to work as well as the trick worm.
Hi Randy going to try your fluke rigging tip sounds good wanted to ask do you ever use the swimming worm rig and if so how do you rig yours thanks Randy .......
Randy, you mentioned a floating worm working best on a south wind. This weekend, I’ll be fishing Santee Cooper, water in the low 70s, visibility 1-3 ft, NE wind early turning into a SE wind afternoon. Full post spawn conditions. Is fishing top water or floating worm/fluke worth the time early or should I focus more deeper structure/cover and focus in fish tight to cover?
I’ve got a lot of submerged grass/curly pondweed already, just touching the surface of the water. How would you rig the fluke to come through that without the open hook? Thanks. Really enjoy the tips.
Where does the sluggo fit in this lesson? Is it a trick worm or a fluke? Or is it a separate bait with a third set of conditions on when and where to use it?
I like the Owner centering pin screws in the nose of my flukes with a small #1 VMC wacky nose hooked like a banjo minnow look.
Fluke is my #1 confidence bait spring through fall. Glimmer blue is for sure my most successful color, then albino, Houdini and baby bass. Great video

Man Randy, I love your video's. I could listen to you and Evers all day!

Floating worm is killing it right now for me....first time actually fishing it now that I’m down south wow it’s addictive watching them gulp it
If I was a bass I’d get caught on a floating worm all year long. That’s the best looking bait in the water, damn near makes me hungry lol
Great tips Randy. Thanks from Western Kentucky.

Stoked for the challenge videos - will be good entertainment value on those ! Thanks Randy !! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Was just thinking about this very topic! Timely and informative!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge God bless you and your family.
Great video Super information keep it up
Absolutely love flukes. I’ve not tried out a floating worm but I have a few ideas.
In the last few years I’ve been fishing floating worms in the spring, it’s the most fun I’ve had fishing since I was a kid.
I always have a fluke tied on, recently got a pack of floating worms plan on trying them tomorrow morning
I hope you get into a bunch, you’ll have the time of your life.
Good Video. 👍👍👍
Goodmorning Elijah!
Still here😁loving the insights. Let's do the hat at 75k😁
Great tips thanks
Good video and tips Randy. Thank you. Is the zoom trick worm the only floating worm that you fish?
Pretty much
I also know it will work better at bedding time

Hey Randy Do you think I can rig a double floating worm rig, like a double fluke rig? And maybe use two different colors!
Never tried it!
I'm still not sure how to retrieve the floating worm? Please share how to retrieve the floating worm. Thanks
Thanks for sharing
Hi Randy going to try your fluke rigging tip sounds good wanted to ask do you ever use the swimming worm rig and if so how do you rig yours thanks Randy .......
Yes with a speed worm

Texas rigged to go weedless, 4/0 circle hook with a 1/16 tungsten weight with a Tpeg or bobber stop🙏
Tex posed with a 3/0 ewg
The fluke is also great when the bass start schooling on top and won’t hit top water lures.
Where does the sluggo fit in this lesson? Is it a trick worm or a fluke? Or is it a separate bait with a third set of conditions on when and where to use it?
Slugo is great around grass
Which worms float ? They rarely are labeled "floating".
Zoom trick worm
The trick worm doesn't float. It's like slang or a nick name.
How'd the stockton lake challenge go?
Was close! Video coming
Good! Video coming
I'm heading up there Monday. Got my flipping rod and a floating worm ready! Really enjoy the videos from both you guys.
That floating worm catches fish in late summer/early fall too
Would rigging the fluke like that make it more likely to hook them in the tongue?
Agree. I would think coming out the top would be better.
On a floating why does the swivel tangle up
ALWAYS keep a spinning rod on deck with just a 4\0 hook just for these 2 lures
Warm wind. Got it
What about wind direction with a fluke
South is best also
Great Information Randy.
Thanks for the Tips.
Just wished that you would have Suggested a Barrel Swivel SIZE. They come in different ones.
Different sizes depending on how fast I want it to sink
OK. Thanks Randy.
I'll see if I can purchase Barrel Swivels in different sizes in a set. I'll check it out online.
Randy - what do you use for a leader between the swivel and your worm when using braid main line? Braid or fluorocarbon?
He mentioned 15lb flouro.
@@logandavis11 knew he did for the fluke but guess I missed it for the worm.
Np good sir have an awesome night!
Flouro
@@randyblaukatintuitive thank you sir.
Cute little lad
Randy 3/0 flippin hook for the fluke also
Yep
Open water/fast fishing..fluke,..... cover/shallow....trick
