What could it be when preheat is turned on and boiler doesn't come on at all to heat water. Also only getting lukewarm water on max hot water setting. There are no fault codes. Ideal Logic 30.
Luke warm water on Ideal logics is normally the partially blocked burner due to which there is not enough heat going into the main heat exchanger to keep up with the hot water maximum demand.
Occasionally it can be a plate to plate heat exchanger or the diverter issue which can also cause luke warm water scenarios.
Good video .. thanks .. how old was that boiler ??
This was around 7 years old I believe
@MHKBuildingSolutions OK thanks .. good content
Mashallah very good.
Thanks alot.
Are you gas safe registered and are you selling old parts ?
Yes I am a gas safe registered engineer mate and I don't sell old parts. I strip boilers for experience and videos.
Of course he's selling the old parts, why else write the model and gc on them😂 "oh no I just collect old parts" 🤥
@@danielbailey1452 Wow Dan you have shockingly made your mind about what I do without even asking me. To correct you, no I don't sell old parts as the online market is saturated with old refurbished boiler parts and I don't have the time to test and refurb parts to sell. The reason I write the GC numbers etc. so I know which boiler I removed the part from if I wanted to make a video or explain it to someone.
Common Logic issue. But hey keeps us ticking over.. Dont mind a logic to work on to be fair not the worst for part change.
Yes mate can't complain from a work stream point of view :)
It was like watching Einstein being interviewed by Bob the builder
Lol
Just want to know what taps to turn of underneath the boiler to isolate the water.
Hi Alan, it depends on which boiler you have. If you can send me a picture of your boiler, I will be able to guide you better. You can get my contact information by searching "Mhk Building Solutions" on Google :).
