Ok, your video repeated many other videos so it has to be correct. We just moved into our new forever home, wife's a qualified plumber and I'm someone who does plumbing and wiring to the best of my ability - unqualified. But we have a unvented pressurised system. And on day one everything did what it's meant to do. The wife is well used to oil heating set ups. Fixed countless issues for us/others. But this system use is new to both of us, her experience with the system admittedly isn't anywhere near as knowledgeable. But I'm definitely learning fast. So we have water, heating up/down separately. We either GET hot water or DON'T.. yet when she checked the motorised valve for the water it seemed to be doing its job. Heating up/down works flawlessly. We also have the option for immersion which you guessed it, will either give hot water or refuse. But it's possible because I turned the temperature down on the element was simply dangerously hot, only a notch, 10-15 degree turn. Could this have upset the system? How on earth? The boiler is at 65 max, the valve for water at the stairs appears to be working but no hot water on gas or element. Did the previous hot water trip the element on the immersion? Is this possible? I've to test everything later today, I think after watching so much I actually now understand the system but have you seen this before? Believe me, we're far from incompetent, just new to the system. Any suggestive advice?
