He did everything you want a player to do. He showed up in shape. He killed the drills. Didn’t complain. Got back on defense. Was unselfish but still took his shots. Dude is legit
TRISTAN definitely got my respect on this one.. the yard is one thing, PRO BALL (at any level) is another.. he made shots, led, made good choices and held his own! he could definitely make it in the G league and most definitely overseas. for all us guys who maintain this level of play, I'm rooting for ya'll!
Loved watching you play point. I’m soccer player for 25 years and played college too. Started playing basketball for the last 2 years again. I've seen your content pop up from time to time. This kind of try out takes balls, you looked the most fluid out there, got your team mates good looks, got others going, did great with your own open looks and under the rim. Based on the eye test, a lot of dudes there are there because of their size and maybe their potential if they ever got polished, you're there because of your game. Finally subscribed. Great content. Looks like being much shorter than everyone else can actually have it's advantages. Looks like having the low center of gravity allows him to navigate through defenders easier as they cannot lower down to stay in front of defend and probably not used to playing anyone under 6ft with that much quickness
Shiftiness playmaking and having a nice high jump and release on his jumper all help, but defensively there’s only so much he can do unfortunately…and I mean that for every player under 6 ft. There’s definitely trade offs
The further you go into professional basketball the more height becomes a huge advantage. That's why you barely see any guys under 6ft in the NBA. Defenses can hide you as much as they can but you can have all the heart in the world 5'10 vs a world class 6'7 guy...goooood luck

I don't have enough of a coaches eye to know whether you can realistically make the team, but you didn't seem to do anything that eliminated you - and that's a victory right there. Good job.
I hope you make the team.because you been hooping on RUclips for years. Why not take it to the next level. It’s Always good to constantly work on your game like yourself because you were on a whole level ahead of those guys you tried out with💯‼️
I was very very skeptical of you UNTIL I saw this video. You have improved EXPONENTIALLY and truly rose to the challenge and pressure of this opportunity. Congratulations !
Bro these guys tbh seemed like they weren’t that good. Felt like I was watching D3 hoopers. I’d been under the impression this was invite-only. Is this an open tryout process or something?
He had to have made the team no question..bro was ballin, vocal, making most of the shots that he takes, good court vision, not a a lot of assists but he played his game. Tristan has always been more of a scoring guard. That's where he really shines.
Tristan looked like if not the best, then the second best player on the court in every game...not sure how many spots are open...but if I were a coach tristan deserves a top 5 spot.
Tristan Jazz man you inspire me so much and your making the team for sure no doubt about that. I love you man keep it up. I’m going to keep that in mind when you said (when you feeling tired or your body hurting you have to slow down the game and make the right decision) I’m going to always keep that in mind every time I’m on the court 💯
I'd say he made it, the only thing I'm not entirely sure is the NBA, cause he was being the leader and being the big man while being the smallest, the NBA has many like there like him, but it also has many more better than him. So if he made the NBA, I feel like he'd struggle, but I'd say he might have it in the bag.
he deserves a training camp invite in my opinion, but it depends on whether or not the bulls GM feels like it's worth the time to sign him onto the training camp squad
@@EJ_IS_FROM_AUSTRALIAhe didn’t make it lol, nobody in this video made it they played like dogshit. Actual g league players are professionals who play at nearly the highest level
@@fozziclan6639 well it's a private invite so they invited the best from each state so unless everyone just went to shit than no and even if they were T Jess had showed he was the leader and willing and able to play anyone bigger or smaller, worse or better and they didn't announce who made it or not why would you know?
@@fozziclan6639that’s not actually true. A lot of g leaguers are nba guys that are well beyond their prime or some delusional guys that might even play below euroLeague tier in Europe. Most g leaguers don’t get a real shot. The ones that do are actual draft picks so they give them pt.
NGL I thought Tristan was gonna get cooked bc of his size, but dude is legit. He’s an effort guy, a leader on the court, makes his shots when open, finds the open man, and isn’t afraid to drive the main or go for boards. Good on him.
I’m proud of bro.♥️ Facts I been watch u for years now. Ready to see u grow as a person and the next step in your hoop journey. Much love and respect 🙏🏾 ♥️
I would definitely think teams should consider picking you up .. unfortunately I feel like teams look at you more as a RUclipsr and under value what you bring to the table ... I really hope a team will give you that opportunity, would be sick to coop a T Jass jersey
who would bring in tickets but he most likely will make less on a g league team compare to youtube at the end of the day everyone trying to pay the bills
I like that he is loud and heads up on defense, he lacks pro length but his effort, awareness, and communication is good, though his size is gonna limit what he could do as a on ball defender he seems to understand team defense... As far as offensively he has good touch on his around the rim stuff and seems to be a solid not great but solid longer range shot, willing (and fairly skillful) passer and good kinda shifty quick ball handler who can regain his handle even when it is bothered, atleast against this kinda competition. His best trait in my opinion is his leadership and the passion he plays with, whatever level is the top that he can compete at he will bring a winning attitude and alot of effort.
You have got to be shitting me, obviously you have watched one to many tjass videos, props to his youtube nonsense tho cuz its obviously fooled you. Is there A B C D E F leagues before you get to G?
sponsored by gatorade. G.
Lets go i had them post notis on baby!!
How is this a g league tryout. You play better players in half your vids
It’s a tryout to make it to training camp, there’s levels to this
These guys are probably taller than most of the good players you see. 6’2 vs 6’5” is a huge difference
Bro literally made 10 in a row
I was thinking the same thing. Probably for non drafted players
@@onlysends7166 uncontested from the knuckle. You could do that.
Nah. You were cooking. Holy crap.
Bro these guys tbh seemed like they weren’t that good. Felt like I was watching D3 hoopers. I’d been under the impression this was invite-only. Is this an open tryout process or something?
I noticed the same thing, some of those guys didn't seem like they had much urgency when Tjass was going for the basket.
Not even D3; more like a competitive men’s league quality.
It’s a pay to tryout kind of thing so that’s why some people don’t seem all that good
It's a way for the team to scam money off people. Tjass just knows his fans are so stupid that they think he is halfway to the nba now.
Those dudes are 6’8-6’11 and very athletic. Not D3
10:24 says be ready and makes a terrible pass. He’s oblivious to his mistakes. Insane dunning Kruger tier
Exactly terrible pass
his teammates should have expected the pass, look at the position he's in. there's nothing tjass could have done other than pass there
that is not a terrible pass fuccn teammate tried to go for a lob 😂😂
@@zeroo. the dude wanted a lob
I was thinking the same thing. “Be ready” off a bad pass is wild
That was epic dude, thanks for taking us along for the ride. Wishing you all the best. You can surely play basketball.
Bro you are literally legit, I’ve been watching you a long time. You like that on god. Loved this video.
11:38 really fam?😂
Bro had me dead 😂 other dude was like tf 😂😂
😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tass you’d make my team, those mid range jumpers was nice
Bro, that was amazing! What an honor it's been, getting to watch you grow your game. Don't quit now!
#tristanstrong 💪
Bro im rooting for you no matter what happens!! im supporting no matter what!!
He had to have made the team no question..bro was ballin, vocal, making most of the shots that he takes, good court vision, not a a lot of assists but he played his game. Tristan has always been more of a scoring guard. That's where he really shines.
he did good dishes they just missed tbh, nah good passing for me
Is this a church league?
If y’all wanna see T Jass in the g league like this comment now!!! You deserve it bro!!
Tristan looked like if not the best, then the second best player on the court in every game...not sure how many spots are open...but if I were a coach tristan deserves a top 5 spot.
This whole vid made me happy, wishing you the best T!
13:50 that was some pesty ass defense right there! Sign that dude lol
Like 3 fouls
@@olivermaxham3011 Maybe in modern defense where it's normal to score 120 a game and you can't hand-check. That's just good defense to me.
That was me bro, much love🙏🏾🙏🏾
@@willvr4 they would 100% call it in the g league.
Guy fouled quite a bit. Like the hussle but he gonna foul out in a game
This is not a real tryout - like they said, it’s a community event
For SCOUTERS. Which is basically a tryout my guy
Ok now that makes sense... They didn't run plays... Not very professional
@@eduardovalencia2197 they did? horns? power?
Not one of these dudes would ever get paid to play 😂
@@fenderstrat6519your mommy got paid to play there simp
Thank you
Tristan Jazz man you inspire me so much and your making the team for sure no doubt about that. I love you man keep it up. I’m going to keep that in mind when you said (when you feeling tired or your body hurting you have to slow down the game and make the right decision) I’m going to always keep that in mind every time I’m on the court 💯
Really cool video!!! TY for showing us a real look at how a professional basketball organization gets it done. Got to be a competitive league.
“Tried out for the g league” bruh yall wild 😂😂😂
Is it just for content?
@@PandaArt1 obviously. hes not giving up the youtube bread to make pennies in the gleague (if he would be good enough to make a team).
@@jagutichsachma caould dc heat go to the gleague?
@@jagutichsachma friga could go to the g league
Sweatshirt and pants is diabolical
Asking the camera man to ask the GM how u doing 💀
Lol he started taking shots after that 😂
Good job.Loved the effort and leadership. You proved you could play at that level
You made the team. Keep getting others involved and making the right reads, bro 🔥 💯
Honestly Tristan cook! SAD reality is probably none of them made it!!!! Is Tristan was taller he make it for sure!
It’s crazy how good you have to be .
tristan would have to be 45 inch vert typa athletic + the qualities he has now to make it to g league tbh, but i hope he does well
8:15 are you serious
5:31 dude in the background air balls
Looks like you did great on your first G league try out. Good luck brotha!!!
Solid all the way around. Potentially g league star
why did tristan look like the best player on the court hahahah i know its all editing and shit but still hahah he tuffff
you just awnsered it, its edited lil g dawg
He played good but those are rec players
@@TruthhTalkk well there all trying our for the same thing. These boys probaly take it more seriously then Mr youtuber
what do you guys think, did he make it?
Lets be real, tjass better than most hoopers... but even g league try outs leave him in the dust
Let's go Tristan!! 💪🏼
Greetings from Indonesia 🇮🇩
I’m here for the ride, good luck T💪🏾💯
As LeBron said, "Ain't no party like a Diddy party."
I’d put him on my g league team, for cheap grass roots marketing, if nothing else.
you'd be starting pointguard in my personal opinion
T.Jass is great! he really is something in this sport! nice to see someone put effort into something and see great results!
You are one of the best at both contents creator and a baller bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Under 1 hour 👇
You can be the bulls 15th man we need someone to replace Javonte carter in torry cridge
The 15th man on the bulls Gleague team maybe lol
He is good at basketball, but couldn't be the 15th man on any D2 or up college team in Chicago area.
12:28 What is Lebron doing here
😂that was me bro
Jabrone Lames
Yo Tristen, hope you make the team, you put a lot of effort into this, so I hope the best you can make it!
NGL I thought Tristan was gonna get cooked bc of his size, but dude is legit. He’s an effort guy, a leader on the court, makes his shots when open, finds the open man, and isn’t afraid to drive the main or go for boards. Good on him.
Try the Chicago Sky
he is 5'2 thats the problem.
5”8*
This can’t be a G league tryout! More like a YMCA tryout. Half the players look out of shape.
100% sir. Coach was low key impressed
I’m proud of bro.♥️ Facts I been watch u for years now. Ready to see u grow as a person and the next step in your hoop journey. Much love and respect 🙏🏾 ♥️
Number 619 looks like Lebron james
That’s me bro 😂
This dude is mid compared to even the folks you would see in the park, "oH HE hAs EffoRT and ComMunicaTIon... You gotta be kidding me. He wouldn't last 8 seconds in an actual G league game, how nonsensical and delusional you have to be to leave a comment lololol
😂😂😂😂
