B = Bath / A = All around the house :) the bung kit is intended for use if there is only 1 open end, if on a 3 port change, and if there is one, I turn off the gate valve on the dhw cylinder out side of the coil, and if its gate valve pump iso's, normally turn them off to, for added safety. reduces the glug glug :P. at least the wiring ctr was easy'ish to get to. another good vid.
Good tip using the rubble sack , I still think it’s a no brainier using a 5 way regin connector , it’s quicker , and makes your life easier to diagnose a fault later , and be caused you hadn’t taken a picture of the spaghetti wiring it would have only taken a couple of wires to come out during the pulling and manoeuvring of cables and you could be in a real mess . It will be interesting to see if you go for your method again. On the next job ! Good work man enjoying your vids 👍
Hi, when my 3 port is on HW the flow from boiler is Hot then when I lower stat to switch to CH it will turn warm, sometimes cold even. Could the 3 port be slowing flow hense rads not keeping hot? I changed the cyl stat. I can see the port lever moving but not happy with the heat on ch pipe
I felt that mild panic at 4:48…. Thinking ohhh shit the bungs haven’t held 😅😂
Yup that feeling 😂
B is for Bath A is for another one 🤣
Good work mate, I will be adding some bags to my kit 👍🏼
They'll defo come in handy, even when draining a rad, etc 👍🏽
You made it look easy bruv. I think I'll dump my wet vac and invest in plastic bag
Rubble sack is a game changer!

I would never trust winding an existing gate valve off ….never 🤪

Where did you get that sack (thick plastic bag? What is the price?
Just a rubble sack from Wolseley
