I am saying you promote this company that are awful and by the way I purchased from them beacuse of your review and RUclips, but even you know this company how treat customer still keep those videos to promote valyou furniture. And it is not just me and this issue is continuing for even customers purchased couple of months ago, I don't say you are responsible for their manner and awful services, but I say if you know all about it , maybe delete these videos but it is your choice, but I dont want anyone have problem like me so I am writing my experience with them everywhere see this company and all true ,

I'm a little worried about the cushion. I wonder if it hold up for a long time.
Hi. Thanks for the review. What is the actual available depth of the bottom cushions? I saw 31" somewhere, but that doesn't seem right. I'm debating between this and the Chita Kenna sofa.

@@hershbackridin oh I canceled my order back in Feb I think. I placed the order Dec 26th and it was pushed out every month. I ended up finding a cloud couch dupe at a furniture store in my city. It was a bit more expensive but I got it same day and I love it.

Really helpful review. What is the cleaning like?. I like that is easy to assemble but i see some people got delated orders but is furniture is kind of expected i think
You can easily take the covers off and put them in the washing machine. Just make sure to use cold water and avoid using the dryer so it won't shrink.

Have u received it yet? I am considering purchasing the sectional but so many bad reviews regarding the delivery time/process is scaring me away. I'm just curious to know if u received urs in a timely manner. I don't mind waiting like a month or 2, but the reviews I saw had some customers waiting up to 6 months for it. Granted I did understand there was some delays due to covid
@@notoyaarthur1990 So surprise surprise. The delivery has been delayed until Thanksgiving! I feel like we were tricked because the website advertised a delivery date of Sep 21 (about 4 weeks from our order date). As the delivery date got closer I checked the status and the delivery date changed to Nov 23. We wouldn't have ordered this couch if we knew it took this long. However, we know someone who purchased this couch and they said it was super comfortable and was good value. I hope they were right.
I ordered mine September 2nd & they changed the delivery date 4 times. Just received an email stating I will receive it by December 20.

Have they recently changed the design of the couch because the website no longer mentions feather down? It now appears to be made with fiber. Can you please review the new couch?
I wasn't aware they made the change. But if the website says so then I guess they did.
We may be able to get a Valyou sofa later this year, but if I can just be honest, we don't have the time to do an updated review on this sofa right now. I'm sorry.

I have a cat and the most important feature to me is the proclaimed scratch resistant fabric. From your experience do you know If the fabric is indeed scratch resistant?
It does a pretty good job of resisting. I don't have a cat, but we do have a dog that isn't particularly kind to the sofa. Thus far it's held up really well.
Does the fabric on the body of the couch remove like the cushions?
Yes, it zips off, but it's extremely tight, so it's harder to get it on / off.
Are the cushions deep? Looking at this cause bobs and vcf version takes so long to come. Interested if they’re as large of cushions
They are pretty standard as far as depth goes.
The Valyou sofas (at least the Feathers one) also take forever to come. I ordered the Feathers sofa right after Christmas and they told me it wouldn't be restocked until end of January. That date came and went and when I followed up they said that date was pushed back to Feb 10. And that's just the restock date. They said it could be up to another 2 weeks to process and ship. It's been a headache. I don't recommend.
@@dymechik721 same with me. I ordered mine on Dec 26th. I was told delivery end of Jan, then the said Feb 9-13th and now I’m being told March 8th.
I’m still considering cancelling and purchasing a couch elsewhere but I really want the cloud couch style and anywhere you go it’s going to take forever. I did expect the seats to be deeper and now I am reading they aren’t as deep as I was hoping.

Alot of furniture that's made overseas is being held up on the west coast. We ordered a bedroom set from Ashley furniture july 2021. Fast forward to Jan 2022 and they just kept pushing the date back. Canceled the order gonna try to find a sofa locally

How tall are you? I saw that you said this is the 3 seater and I’m debating on this versus the 4 seater because I’d like to nap on it also. I’m 5’10 so curious to know how we stack up because I saw you lay down with extra room in the video

I’ve heard varying reviews about this company, a lot of bad on Reddit. I didn’t do proper research before ordering. Can you confirm that customer service and delivery time is acceptable?
At least in our case the delivery time was a non issue. It took a couple of weeks but arrived as expected and on time.
We didn't need to use customer service, so I don't know how good / bad that would be.
Did you end up ordering your couch? We ordered in December, supposed to arrive in February, but it has been pushed back 5 times and is now “arriving last week of May”. Every time I reach out to their customer service, I get the same answer, “We’re so sorry, but your order is on the way”.

@@michaelhinchey Still waiting for delivery. It's now estimated to arrive at the end of June, which I am not very happy about. & my cats are very good with furniture! Don't have an issue with them scratching anything other than their scratching posts lol, so I'm not worried about them scratching the couch
@@normcoreconformity It does seem that something weird is going on at Valyou. I've reached out to my contact a couple of times with basic questions and received no response.
I am going to put one of my researchers on this project soon. We may end up creating a video with the findings of our research.
What would you consider to be "heavyweight"? I am 6'2 and about 220, but am looking for a very soft and comfortable sofa and strongly considering this based on your review. Thanks!
It's sort of a grey area, but generally I'm thinking 250+ pounds.

I just read a really bad review from a lady and her young family who DID buy it!
To me it looks like all the sofas I see on garbage day at the end of homeowners’ driveways waiting for the garbagemen to pick it up with the rest of the garbage. Be sure you read the reviews before you buy. Sincerely, Rachel Williams/an experienced good (and bad) furniture purchaser; I’ve been burned too!
How soft is it compared to RH CLOUD Couch?

It is very soft. So you'll get lots of sinkage on day 1. If you don't want lots of sinkage and a very soft sofa then this is not the right sofa for you.

I don´t know about these complaints but my experience was different i got it 3 months ago. The sofa is comfortable, and the delivery was on time maybe that was due to COVIDcraziness
That's not true. I just placed an order for one and the delivery date they gave me is October with zero explanation as to why! It's March! That's 7 months, not two. And I live here in Los Angeles where they supposedly have a store. It's a scam.

I hate this sofa so much. I’ve had it for a year, 2 kids, hubby and I. It’s so flat, each cushion is completely different. People OVER HYPE this one up soo much

THEY ARE NEVER, EVER FLAT!!!! Got rid of the one I had in the 70’s; it was a soft white with matching crewel embroidery. We gave it to our daughter because the styles had beenchanged from 8 ft ceilings to 12+. They kept it and loved it for years. My newest is 13 years old. It’s wonderful very high crowns and poofy sides. Love it.
FYI: there are NO BARGAINS ON DOWN (and feather blend) sofas.
ONLY!!!!!! Purchase yours from a local, extremely reputable, and probably expensive DECORATOR, or you will be fighting it for as long as you own it and will grow to hate it. I am soo very sorry that this has been such a disappointing experience for you and your beautiful family.

I have had this couch for 2 years now, I had the same issues and I asked for extra feathers and foam support and it changed the game completely, you should try that out!

Valyou Furniture is withholding more than $1,700 from me that for weeks now it promised to return after purchasing a Feathers Sectional. Do not do business with this company.
Just file a dispute with Visa. That's what I will do if I run into any issues. I of course found out about shipping delays AFTER I ordered. I am in Southern CA though and they claim they have a warehouse in LA so shouldn't be an issue. We shall see....
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. The cushions in the couch were totally flat and slouched within 18mo. They hide behind the warranty because their products do not last more than 1year. They only offer videos on RUclips on how to restore cushions...ON AN 18MO OLD COUCH. This item has two skinny people on it, no kids, no pets. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They even have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. They are only interested in your money, after that have no interest in their reputation. We have stuffed extra pillows in the bottom cushions, and the back ones just flop over and look like they are 15yrs old. This couch was $1800, we were scammed and cannot afford to replace it. They will not offer cushion replacement, partial refund so I can afford to replace the cushions...nothing but a $50 store credit. BAHAHAHA I would not spend ONE PENNY in the store ever again.
My couch got a little flat after a year so I just ordered extra fillings and feels like new after.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a sofa for over $2k, waited 10 months but never received it. I asked for refund and they have been ignoring me ever since. BUYERS BEWARE!

That's weird. I made a purchase 10 months ago too but got mine in more than a month. It took longer than I expected but I think it's worth the wait.
