I wanted to share a comment about my experience purchasing the Floyd Sink Down Sectional here as it's one of the only online reviews I've seen and I don't have a very public social media presence myself lol - The shipping time provided on the website when I purchased was 7-8 weeks. It ultimately took 11 weeks to be shipped out and 16 weeks in total to the time it was delivered, so significantly longer than advertised. - The main reason it took longer to ship out was due to a fabric shortage. When they identified that was happening they provided me store credit totaling 10% of the purchase price (including tax and shipping), so that was nice at least. Generally speaking, I found their support team helpful and quick to respond. - The delivery itself was smooth, and different than what Mikee encountered in this video. The delivery crew brought the sofa into my living room and didn't leave any packaging aside from some tags. I'm not sure if it differs by location or if they maybe changed their delivery procedures in the last few months. - Like Mikee, I find it extremely comfortable. It's much squishier and deeper than any other couch I've seen. I'm very happy with the product itself, despite the frustrating and long wait to get it.

Just want to say FLOYD Customer Service was amazing! They gave us several options regarding the delivery fiasco and they made it right with being eco-conscious and refunding most of the shipping costs. In my book, nothing is perfect but as long as you take care of your customers and show genuine concern, you have a life long customer with me. Forgot to mention two key things! 1) This is in the color sand - it's a lot lighter in person vs their product photos and IG photos but I ordered a swatch and it's a perfect match. 2) It's modular so you can totally add to it to make it longer or turn it into a sectional!
Great review, thank you for posting it! It’s tough to tell from images and the lack of other reviews - is there any space under the couch? For example, we have a “C table” that’s meant to slide the half-inch-tall base of the table under the couch/between the legs. Is there space between the floor and the “start” of the fabric of the couch to slide something like this under?
Hi there! Yes, there's some space down there that could definitely fit something that is half an inch thick. My remote is 3/4" thick and can fit. 1" probably wouldn't work so I think you'd be safe with .5" You'd also have to take into consideration rug thickness but I have a Persian rug and they tend to be thicker than most. Great review thank you. what is the seating length of the couch? I know it is 92" overall, but what about subtracting the width of the arms? I am wondering if the two seater will be long enough to stretch out on and I am 6'1"
At 73” you should be good with some room to spare! Plus the side cushions are so comfortable you can even lay your head on there if you wanted. Plus, even though it looks like a 2 seater, 3 can fit no problem
Is the Sand color gray at all? Some photos make it look gray and I don’t want that. I just want a neutral almost off white but the oat seems way too light.
It’s more like beach sand vs desert sand. So definitely has a gray hue with some warm tones. I prefer it much more over the oat. You can request swatches for free.
Much respect for always giving an honest and fair review on products you buy. That sofa can pass as a comfy bed to sleep on. I love fabric and/or cloth sofa vs the overrated leather sofa and that color sand is a plus! I hope the company provides you with some kind of compensation for that sketchy portion of the sofa. You’re very welcome! The couch is very comfortable, not firm. You definitely sink down into it like a cloud! I doubt the IKEA couch feels the same. Fabric is holding up great with the pups. I actually got a dark stain on it, I think from my legs that I rubbed against something. Folex took it out with ease, whew!

I think I can get 3 middle individual pieces to fit together (and at a perfect size) for an armless sectional but I'm wondering if those metal piece will be sticking out.

However, the delivery was super smooth (Dallas so maybe a diff company delivered it?) - I'm sitting in it now. My 3 year old and I LOVEEEE it :) I have a chow chow but he hasn't tried it yet... he's a little suspicious of it right now. thanks for this super helpful video

😂 That was me too, too embarrassed to say how many times I hit refresh! I can't remember if I got an email but I did get a notification from ShopPay (used them to checkout) that it had shipped. From there, it took a couple weeks to get to their shipping partner (I'm guessing it ships freight over the ocean)... And finally from there, their shipping partner (in my case it was a company called RXO) called me to schedule a delivery. Hang in there! I waited nearly 6 months for a crate and barrel couch last year lol.

If you bought two of these or the 4 seater, is it big enough to make 4 seat sofa pit that two people could lay out on? One of us is 6"1. I know I'd be fine.
Hi there! I believe when I ordered it, it said 8-10 weeks and it pretty much came around that time, closer to the 8 week mark. Keep in mind I ordered pretty soon after they announced the sofa so I could have been in the front of the line. I've ordered my share of furniture in the last couple years after we moved and shipping has been all over the place with various companies so my suggestion is to be patient and contact them close to the timeframe they gave you and see if they have any info regarding an update on the order. Refreshing the order page won't do any good - I know from experience 😂

Hey! The sofa in our living room is the Lotus Deep Modular 3-Piece Sectional Sofa from Crate & Barrel. We're actually switching it out to the 3-Piece sink down sectional in oat - I was wondering if it was weird to have two of the same couches in a house but I don't mind since at least I know I'll love it ☺️

I think if you have the space and it looks good I’d go for it for maximum comfort lol. But personally, I’m not a big fan of sectionals aesthetically unless it fits the space perfectly. But yea, I’m 5’8” and can lay upright diagonally and stretch out my legs ☺️
Hi there. I got my sink down sectional 2 weeks ago and found that my couch base board was not installed correctly. The safety brackets are not close enough to secure couch pieces together. I contacted customer service and so far it’s crickets. I am so disappointed by this company 🤬
Oh no, are they really far apart? I noticed I could twist mine to align properly and then they clicked in place with some force. I'd reach out on their IG as well via comments if they don't answer their DMs!
They are not only too far apart but also screwed in an incorrect orientation. I emailed customer service and haven’t heard back with a solution. I’ll try IG next 😕

Hi there! I think it does. But with that said it’s not meant to sit like you would on a traditional couch because it’s so deep. You can’t like sit with your back against the back with your legs hanging down if that makes sense. You’re either cozied up, sitting Indian style, half lay, etc. Thanks for watching!
Hey there... I don' know if it would work well as a bench style alternative. The seat is really really deep. Sitting up right like a normal chair is almost impossible. I can sit upright but my legs are usually crossed.

I ordered the Floyd sink down sectional Aug 11 and at the time, the ETA was 8-9 weeks. It finally arrived today. All in all it took 18 weeks 🤯
