I had a great experience with my feather sofa, and I have it now for 2 years, i asked the website for extra feathers and the problems were solved. I think you need the warranty help me out a lot!

order july 2022). And they lied alot
and waste my time so l won't be able
to dispute because Chase just give
you 4 months to dispute and now they
want me to accept credit store, l don't
vant. And it is not just me, Please check their real reviews.
After more than one year that they have kept my money send an email that they don't know when can refund my money.
Do not trust them ,
@@shahrzadmaki9486 I think most of the delays happened during the pandemic. It looks like their stocking and shipping are back to normal now. I never got these types of delays on my orders.

Scam company you will never get your furniture! They have it I'm writing that after 14 days of purchase you can't get your money back but take over 7 months to give you any information on your order. Then send the wrong thing out and when you refuse the order after asking for a refund several times they have FEDEX send you a Legal Notice of refused or on hand freight and try and get you to pay for the storage fees. When you have proff that you asked for a refund 4 days prior to them elven shipping the item out! Which if I didn't already say you didn't want!!!

Well this company nailed it with my sofa! The quality is really good and is incredibly soft, I think they have had some bad costumer service in the past, but it was a good experience for me.
It seems like customers are having a better experience now! I'm glad to hear that. I think we bought ours when it was still pretty new. I know they've modified it since.

What a great review. I wish I had found an honest and thorough review like yours before I purchased my Feathers. I was so disappointed with the poor quality of that furniture that I pushed my sectional to the curb this past week to be picked up by the garbage collection.
Sorry to hear that! I was almost going to purchase this couch until I watched this video review. What were the largest quality issues for you guys?
@@luie7217 The seats are very low. I am 5'2" and I felt uncomfortable sitting on that couch. If you try to replace the legs, you will find very little surface on the frame to srill the new legs on because the wood strips are very narrow. On top of that, the frame is made of flimsy wood, it looks like balsawood. The fabric of the cushions is also cheap and it looks even worse after washed. In my opinion, that sectional is not worth the price. Right now my livingroom has only a rug and an armchair and I am okay with that. I am saving to buy a couch with better quality. I spent $1800 on that sectional, plus the price of two separate sets of legs. Totally not worth it.

Valyou Furniture is withholding more than $1,700 from me that for weeks now it promised to return after purchasing a Feathers Sectional. Do not do business with this company.
@@jakeadams0412 What did their customer service tell you? I had the same request before. Had to wait a little longer but they returned my money.
Glad to hear about the fabric change, Looks really comfortable I think I'm gonna buy it other companies were so expensive for a feather sofa, anything feather it´s normal to get flatten over time that´s the price for compy fluffy style.

Oh this is the Feather sofa, I got a few months ago I was gonna get a new set of covers with a different color. I had now issues just a few weeks to arrived.

I've seen multiple reviewers with this same wrinkling problem, but none of the reviewers bring up the manufacturers recommended cleaning guidelines. One of which, is you MUST AIR DRY THEM due to the fact they are 30% linen-based covers. I recently visited a local Valyou store and spoke to one of their employees who said that the most common issue with this exact couch is people drying the covers and not following the recommended cleaning guidelines from the manufacturer. It would be nice to know the methods the reviewer used to clean and dry the covers on the first attempt when he noticed the wrinkling.
Thank you so much for this honest review. Now this makes me absolutely sure to cancel my order. They told me I would receive it in 30 days. I ordered mine 4 months ago and they still don’t have it in stock. They were deceiving and just wanted people to place orders when they can’t even fulfill it. And that’s why they have a no refund no cancelation policy. I can understand if we can’t cancel it after it ships, like most companies do. But they don’t even have it in stock. So why can’t I cancel it? They are not good and I would advise everyone to stay away from this company. I think I’m better off ordering something from wayfair or something.

I love the look of the sofa, but do you really need to add the extra legs? I just think it looks perfect as it is.
Great video! Thanks for making it! What settings did you wash your covers ? My friend got a stain on my covers and it won’t go way even after spot cleaning, it made it worse.
Not sure about the stain but to avoid shrinking, make sure to wash it with cold water.
Thank you so much for making both of your reviews, has helped out a lot be more cautious but still curious. I want to not believe the negative reviews and avoid this but it hurts, it's the perfect look and size for what we are looking for and haven't found another.. Wondering if the extra work is still worth it, add legs, maybe replacing some cushion with memory foam etc... My question to you is : is it still comfy? Are you excited and comfortable to lay on this thing for hours on end? We do not have pets or kids so we are not worried about keep it clean but if the material is also bad and it's lost is feeling just after one year then def want to avoid.
Speaking from my experience, I was afraid at first but I thought there still a lot of positive reviews out there that convinced me into buying my first sofa from them. I have kids jumping on it so after a year I just needed to add some extra fillings. Now my sofa still feels comfy. It's actually normal for down feathers to shed.
I had my sofa for 6 months now and I'd say it's still feels really soft and comfy. I would suggest adding stuffing when it gets lumpy maybe after 2 years or so.
I just got my sofa and I find myself spending more time sitting on it because of its fluffiness!
adding to my response since there has been recent engagement again--- the company has a presence in LA where i live so i went to their showroom to check out the sofa - in the past year they changed the design and materials of the sofa from this design that you all have in this video... unfortunately for the worse .. its much rougher rattan-cloth like texture now - i was very glad to see it in person and i know that it changed, its not nearly as it is advertised anymore.i met with a sales associate who admitted all of it had changed for distribution reasons from Hawaii but of course they did their job and tried to sell it for the best but don't make the mistake buying this sofa thinking it is going to be this fluffy feather family sofa because it is NOT - after seeing it in person and evidently not being feather-like at all we opted out of purchasing it and have been thankful ever since. maybe the company will change the design again but as of the last 12 months this product is worse than it was before.
How is it now? I bought mine around 4 months and the fabric is really soft wondering if they changed the quality of the fabric.
wow. bad cushions, bad covers, bad legs. frame not solid. in summary. and bad customer service. delayed delivery reports and no communications. yet you love the sofa. the new cover is not even washable so you can't ruin it by washing. no regrets. so crazy. article has very unhappy customers. joybird mmmmayyybe. thanks so much for this review, very helpful!!!

May I ask how you laundered the cushions? I'm seeing some different suggestions and would love to know how you approached washing (i.e. what didn't work so well)
Use cold water when you wash them to avoid shrinking.
I wish I would have seen this before ordering. My delivery was within a week, but it's so low. Was installing the metal legs hard? I bought similar wood ones, but can't install them I guess.
It's not hard if you have the right tools. It's just time consuming and a little tricky depending on how much wood yours has at the bottom.
What other colors does it come in? How is the quality of the fabric?
Did you install the legs yourself? I purchased the legs but the bottom of my couch is not open like yours and it made me think twice about changing
I wish I saw this video before I bought it! Took six months to deliver and terrible communication(I thought they took my money). It sits to low and is a killer to your back. I was told to keep the boxes if you want to return, there's no way I can put these two sections back in the boxes alone, had to tear the box to get them out. I am very disappointed!!!!! I agree with scb atGeeMail, I will see if I can give it away to someone or drag it to the curb for the trash that it is!
Sorry to hear that! We didn't have any issues with the delivery, but it is really unfortunate that you can't keep it since it's an expensive sectional. Which one are you getting next?
Can you please tell me the fabric choice? Linen naturally has a way of clumping and buckling. There are other fabric options for the same couch
You can see all the options on their website. Ours came with their traditional option to begin with and then we got the linen covers after.
Can you attach extra legs for some added height?
Yes but they're sold separately.

As long as you don't put them in the dryer, it shouldn't shrink.
Only use cold water when washing.

Most of their covers can be washed in your washer. It just takes some time to remove the covers, but it's a pretty nice option!
Pretty easy to clean. Just make sure not to use the dryer so it won't shrink.

Not all of them - you can check their website to see which ones are washable and which ones are spot cleaning only.

Article and joybird both have great looking furniture, seem to be really well made, and great quality. Maybe take a look there? Prices are pretty similar too.

Also follow up question if you do respond - did you dry the covers in the dryer or hang dry? We made the mistake of using the drying and ended up with the stretched fabric like yours.

@@Wantmyevo @Cagey Gaming Hey! Sorry for the delayed response. I believe they are no longer offering the covers for the sofa because they came out with a new version of the sofa. The old covers they offered won't fit this new version so they are no longer available online unfortunately.
As far as the washing and drying, we never used the dryer, only the washer. We air-dried everything and we still got those wrinkles on most of the pieces. The new linen covers are amazing though - you can't wash them, but they do stay clean and are more comfortable. Hope that helps!

I would check their website. When I purchased it, you had to keep the original boxes and you had to pay a return fee. Not sure if that's still the case.

If they don’t give you a refund, And if you payed with PayPal, maybe call PayPal. They might help you. I’ve been waiting for my sofa for 4 months and they still don’t have it in stock when they said they could deliver it in 30 days. I was ready to cancel it but was still hesitant. Now this makes me sure I want to cancel it. They told me they don’t offer refund only exchange. But I will fight it and even call PayPal if I have to because they didn’t fulfill their promise and they still can’t.
I purchased a feathers sofa. Unfortunately it is stiff and flat cushions. Not comfortable at all. I wish I had just spent way less money on a cheap couch that would at least have some give to it. It seems like the marketing is dishonest
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Ordered a sofa for over $2k, waited 10 months but never received it. I asked for refund and they have been ignoring me ever since. BUYERS BEWARE!
There were a lot of similar issues during the pandemic but I think they're doing better now in terms of delivery. Mine only took a month to deliver.

I've purchase twice from them and never had a problem. It looks like most of these issues were during around pandemic.
I absolutely hate Valyou. You shouldn't buy it. Our sofa the arm caved in on itself on both sides and Valyou told us that's normal wear and tear and they wouldn't be doing anything. They sent the wrong covers and then stubbornly refused to send the correct ones. The shipping took ages and they kept lying to me a out when it would arrive. The overall sofa is probably a 7/10. It does a good job but nothing more than that.
