Hey Nathaly I’ve been watching you for quite some time and still always learn a lil something extra everytime you give these tips. A lot of creators make the same type videos, but they have curated the perfect pieces that all work together usually. You’re actually teaching us what to do if you have pieces you either can’t or don’t want to change but still want to make your style work. I loved it!
I agree with the others about the rug being way too small. I would send it back, get another rug with both gray & beige in the design to match the pillows in a thicker rug. Also, the ruffle bowl with the candle should be taken off of the books & placed on the table to show it off more. I hope you find these suggestions helpful!
I did the same exact thing with a charcoal leather sectional recliner, similar rug and wood round coffee table (mine has wheels from Haverty’s). So few designers will use a leather sectional recliner despite their functionality and popularity. Thank you!
Have been waiting for this one bc I feel your struggle with the large leather sectional and was looking forward to seeing what you do. Ours is camel leather, custom made with an interior designer and hubby loves it so it's not going anywhere. I do my best to cover it with two throws on the back and lots of pillows too. It's challenging to find the right size table - one that has enough weight to stand up to sofa but not add more weight. The only reason I didn't do wood to warm mine up is because we already have a tall wood wall unit so I did a white marble table that is open underneath. But that was a good idea to use the round drum shape. Perhaps you could add another one to nest with it, to meet the scale of your sectional? I have the same bowl from Home Goods and I'm going to steal your idea of putting a candle in it. :) The curtains make a huge difference! A rug that has both gray and beige might really help too - since you said you want to warm up the space and don't seem to love this one? I understand the need for an easy clean rug when you have pets though! My olive tree is similar and I think it is really meant to be skinny, with the branches in more of an upward direction. What do you think of another tree or large woven vase with branches on the floor on the other side for balance? Lots of baskets always add warmth too. Are you open to color, like sage green? An accent color might help warm things up but I'm sure that will happen once you decorate for fall. You probably already have... I am just catching up! Enjoyed seeing what you do as always...
Love your design, I have a light grey leather couch and got some really good ideas from your decor for styling it…thanks for sharing…have a blessed day💗💗💗
Hi new subscriber 😃 You decorated your space beautifully 😍, we also have leather recliners, seeing how you added velvet pillows & checkered throw pillows spruce up your sofa, Thank you for this idea. I am here for all the home decor & your shop with me videos.
Hi 👋🏽Nathaly love your videos and your style great job 👏🏽 on the living room makeover will you be adding any home decor inside your tv cabinet and bottom coffee table shelf
Nice, adding all those elements definitely warmed up the room… will you consider removing one or two pieces of the sectional ? Or you might have tried already ❤
You definitely need to fluff the tree some more and separate the branches and the rug is too small. I understand why you don’t like that couch it’s too big too cold looking and not a great colour either. But you did well with working with what you had. I’d add a few throw blankets to the couch and maybe some more texture with baskets in the room and more lighting to create mood and some wall art 😊
Some curtains float above, some drag on the floor. Should be ironed. That tv cable strip isn’t centered or go down far enough. Rug and coffee table too small.

Great job🎉🎉🎉

I really enjoyed this beautiful refresh, beautiful furniture, decor, and styling. 🤗🌅
Love the tree! Maybe add moss, Spanish or green? Chefs 💋
Love when creators actually use what they have and make it fit into their design. It's much more relatable for us normal folks😊. Great makeover

The last shot is missing the pillow and throw on the cozy corner of the couch.

Were did you get your sectional from?
I love everything except that sectional it just looks off.I’m sure you will replace it with time.
Rug too small
The rug it’s way too small for the big sofa… Everything else looks nice and cozy!

Rug way to small for space and that big couch
Love the floor lamp!! Nice 👁️
