$479 is a pretty sweet deal for what you get. The RDO version of the original APX if you want it to be optics ready is already more expensive than that. Not only is it cheaper than the original RDO APX, this comes with all the new features and it's a recently released gun.
I purchase this gun yesterday. According to Beretta they do not provide a optic plate and you cannot obtain one for free either. You have to order it from them and they are $50.00 on their website. I'm from Italy, getting this gun for christmas and an AR15. Here I found it new discounted for 590 euros or normal price it goes for 772 euros (still new)
Congratulations! That's great to hear. I hope you enjoy it. I would love to visit Italy soon!
@@Steadfast_Collective if you are into beretta, I think they allow ppl to visit their museum which is in the beretta HQ, they also got a gold 1/1 beretta that belonged to Ghaddafi. I saw this other YT video that was allowed to film their factory and they have a very unique AI machine the video is called:
TSG The Beretta Factory Tour
As an Italian I didn't expect the amount of work it was put to build just 1 weapon
@@bobbuilder767 That's awesome! I am looking to visit Italy soon I'll have to reach out to my contacts at Beretta to see if I can tour the factory
Burris fast fire 4 mounts directly to the slide.
Nice pick up
Ty 🙌
What caliber APC a1
And
This is 9mm
Very nice
Does anyone have any holster options for this new gun?
I believe the Beretta website had some
Those look like the same mags as the original APX, but I won't be able to say for sure until I can get my hands on one of these.
Okay good to know, I’m sure it’s the same. I’ll have to find out.
They are the same
@@willshaneswearingen yep. Now if only the holsters were. Finding an OWB has been awful, even worse finding one that takes a light.
@@willshaneswearingen yes, i have bought spare original apx mags and they work in the apx a1
@@DeplorableBitterClinger i ordered a custom kydex one from the armzmen for the apx a1 full size. i havent received it yet.
Contrary to most of the public's knowledge, this gun is not much different than the original APX. Both versions of the gun are modular, same components, 2 mags, trigger. The main improvements are the finish of the slide, all versions of the APX will be cut for an optic and the slide serrations and design are different. Also, a different set of iron sights. Otherwise, the same gun. The original APX had an RDO model which was almost $600. I just bought my A1 for $399 and it should arrive early next week. Can't wait also for them to release the A1 Centurion. That will be a gamechanger.
Yeah, seems like this model was mostly a “face lift” to make it more appealing to American consumers.
Isn’t the firing pin assembly green or something? Upgraded?
@@jeffsnider7842 Yes. The striker spring assembly is much better. trigger is a little better
Now you can find it for $399!!!
I know! Such a great deal
Apx & A1 mags are the same
Yup! Did not know this initially. Thank you!
Great gun
Word has it the Brazilian govt wanted beretta to make the gun shoot 30k rounds before it needed to be cleaned.....beretta put this weapon through it
I can believe it
Slidr Looks almost as long as a g17
I don’t like these, I love the classics with an open slaid
I really liked the classic too. But so many seemed to dislike the way they looked for some reason
why do you let go of the trigger when you're testing for trigger reset. that's the only thing anyone should care about is the trigger on this thing because it was horrible on the original. shoot to reset you don't let go of the trigger.
I understand shooting to reset as I do compete at a high level..if you turn up the volume you can hear the reset point. I was simply trying to show how much pre travel to the wall there was again. I am also by no means a “professional” reviewer and am still figuring it out. Thanks for the input 🙏
@@Steadfast_Collective I want to see a 3mm reset. I will buy one today! Sucks having to watch like an hour of different reviews to finally get to one where you can actually see it. LOL
Your split times will improve if you stop shooting to reset and only engage the trigger once per round.
Why are you shooting to reset????
@@willshaneswearingen accuracy & speed
Biggest mistake on this pistol it will need to be sent to a gunsmith if you want a lazer site.
That makes the price point not so good, when you can by a Canik that is setup from the manfacture with a better trigger for less than it would cost to have have this pistol
set up for lazer sites.
Why would you need to send it to a gunsmith exactly?
Got mine for 500 with a fast fire red dot already mounted.
wheres the review?
Someone count how many times he says ahhhh😭😭😭
You should 🤷🏻♂️😂
A Glock 17 would be more comparable in size
Yeah, barrel is a little shorter than a 17. The back portion of the slide extends further back, which makes it look as long
"Crisp" wall,....huh
I got it for 420 out the door
thats an awesome deal!
Pain full review
Wow, a mess.
How so?
Lame
Unfortunately I hear these pistols are having a ton of finishing issues!
Really? In what way? I have not hear about this
