    This was a terrible review. This is one of the most under rated fire arms made. You should have broken the gun down and shown the viewers. Extremely well built, almost over built. Solid, few parts, modular design. I have many micro's and can tell you this is one fantastic Beretta product. The Nano which was a terrific model came out in 2012. Many upgrades since then. The New Trigger is NOT long it is a EDC trigger. Most newbies as mentioned below cannot shoot a DA style, most have never even fired a revolver. The Trigger is similar to a Kahr which people love. The gun has terrifice stippling, the serrations are the best I have seen. The gun has little muzzle flip, low recoil. And built to last a lifetime. I have one Nano now that has over 20,000 rds and running fantastic. By the way, it will accept Nano magazines. Another thing. Take this gun and run side by side for a thousand rounds and you will find the APX Carry will not suffer the vibration you get from other guns. Just stays smooth all the way through.

    Have many Micro 9mm's, But this by far is my favorite. And I love the trigger. A perfect DAO striker fired. Smooth, deliberate all the way through. I cringe when I hear people talk against the Beretta Trigger. They are not use to one and understand them. Newbies are so use to seeing so much nonsense on RUclips channels about a light weight crisp trigger which is NOT good for a EDC gun. They do not want to learn the DAO. What a shame. Experienced shooters that do learn them just do not want to go back. This gun is better built than almost every gun in class. Stainless steel through out the gun. Few parts, So easy to work on or clean and such a mild shooting, reliable firearm. I have two of the Old Nano's. One with 20,000 rds and the other with about 6,000. And have no doubt they could double that many rounds or more. By the way, Beretta puts a coating on there guns and they are gritty when brand new. They will wear in fast. Simply one of the best triggers you can get on a EDC.

      Your comment makes me lean towards this instead of an FN Reflex, although a couple of RUclipsrs like the ease of racking the Reflex.

      People who complain about light trigger in carry guns make me cringe and shouldnt be carrying in the first place. If you're that worried its gonna go off then you clearly have a severe skill deficiency somewhere. It's always the same fudds/boomers crying about their gun not having a safety lever. Just get good and stop spreading nonsense.

      Cringe all you want. I have been a shooting enthusiast for 4 decades. The Trigger is fantastic for EDC. This is NOT a target gun. And this gun shoots so mild. As I said earlier, the trigger is SMOOTH, DELIBERATE and no it is not long.

      I’m glad to read your comments cause I’m actually looking to buy this Beretta. I have a few micros, however this would be my first with optic and decided on the APX. I have shot and carried many a compact revolver 357 over past few yrs, and the one main reason I decided on this striker fire was the one thing I keep seeing the reviewers complain about, the trigger. I believe a long, heavier pull is absolutely the best trigger on a carry gun. Makes you focus on what you’re doing in an extremely heated, stressful situation. Also my belief is that if and when that self defense situation happens, the last thing going through your mind is “how heavy is my trigger again” lol.

    Can’t compare a Glock 19 or a s& w shield comparing apples to oranges 500- 600 gun to a 200 -250 $ gun I have a1 carry haven’t had any issues

    I have one.And to me it is good for carrying,vehicle,house,etc,. defensive pistol.
    You are correct on the trigger.Which in all the reviews the trigger is a negative.The gun has never misfired.And that is what to expect in a bad situation.But I like it.I put it on a magnet mount in my F-150.With 2 x-tra magazines in the overhead compartment.

    Thanks for the honest review. I picked one up a few months ago with the $100 rebate. Not a bad gun for $200 net, but like you, I don't care for the long, vague trigger pull. My Glock 26 is an all-around better shooter, and only slightly bigger. The G26 with a 12 round PMag--12 is actually shorter than the A1 Carry with the 8-rounder. It is a Beretta, and I like the look and feel, and mine has worked flawlessly, but like you I wouldn't recommend it. I keep hoping for an improved after-market trigger but I've found nothing yet.

    I got it. First range trip, back sight came off, front was really loose. Other than that, and a replacement of a recoil assembly after only 70 rounds, 8 round mag.. it’s not a bad gun. Easy to clean, maintaining it couldn’t be easier. I’d recommend it.

    I just got one to match my full size APX. I put the striker spring kit in it from Bareta and my trigger pull is 3# in both. It's a good gun.

    I put one of these on lay way a few days ago then after finding out that their isn't many aftermarket parts for it and mags hard to come buy I went back to the store and switched this gun for a sig sauer p365 which cost a little bit more money but lots of stuff available for it.

    I own a full size Beretta APX which I love so I checked these out when I saw how inexpensive they are. However, I couldn't get past that trigger. I think the APX Compact is a much better carry option.

    I think it is a great firearm but have to agree, the casings do hit me in the face constantly. I actually don’t mind the trigger. But for the value with optic is a great! I would recommend it for a more experienced shooter who wants a truck gun or carry option.

      I mean, mine worked. I wasn't impressed nor did it give me a lot of confidence, but it worked.
      I would just double check you're not accidently pushing up on the slide release while you're shooting. Maybe take your left hand off the gun entirely and see what happens.

  • @66ECHO
    @66ECHO 10 месяцев назад

    I’m sorry but with a breakage in the first mag I would have asked for the extra mags from Beretta rather than ordering out your pocket - for your wait on repairs to a brand new firearm.
    I like Beretta and own several, but am looking at this model due to the incredible price of just under $300. Optic ready + front sight is tritium (if I am not mistaken) and with a less than ideal trigger it’s still a quality, inexpensive carry.
    To me I maybe have a habit/problem of wanting to acquire budget firearms to distribute if things go south. Did you end up selling?

    • @theevenstevenchannel8220
      @theevenstevenchannel8220  10 месяцев назад

      I ended up putting it up for consignment at my local gun store. I'm actually going to be picking up its replacement, a S&W Shield, today.

    “Contains California certified lock” on the label makes me hopeful it will make it to California, now that the micro stamping requirement has been stayed. The would also need a mag safety and loaded chamber indicator.
    That’s for all the details!

    Please, please DO NOT purchase a firearm from Beretta. They treat their customers like garbage, and typically you will never be able to talk to an actual person about your gun. Magazines for the APX A1 Carry are sold out nation wide in the United States - and parts for these guns are not available from Beretta (see my previous statement.)

      This gun is 12 years old. It's basically just a Beretta Nano with an updated grip frame. When you look at it with that context in mind. Everything about it starts to make a lot more sense.
