Great work guys , you can get a product called blend spray about £10 I think and when you remove the masking you give it 2 lights coats it’s amazing stuff
Great job guys always like watching ur paint stuff.. I've used kapci 2k clear n the past and just changed to multi mix air dry as everyone on smart repair forums are raving about it.. looking forward to painting some bits on my Bertone in next week. Keep it up fellas
That’ll put some bodyshops to shame, I’ve just had my front bumper done by a insurance approved repairer and it’s appalling, I’m having to take it back! Keep up the good work chaps!
Nice job and hats off to you and the big man Gary. Just watched the 3 videos whilst having tea and thoroughly enjoyed them, you guys have made a tidy job. What was the swearing did soppy trip up 😆
Gaz Great video what a difference some filler and a bit of paint can make you just can not get the same finish with rattle cans you can do a decent job but give me a spray gun and compressor every time Phil in stoke
Cheers luke it's not up for sale as of yet but if a decent offer came in I'd definitely have a think about it 👍🏻any news when you will be digging the little yamaha out?
@@ProjectMan I think your tempted to keep the ST, Funny you mention the Yamaha, I’ve been looking at it in the corner, I think I might just get it up and running again, put the chain and sprockets on it and give it a test up where my dad lives, then I’ll have a good idea what needs doing, I don’t intend to totally restore that one. I do know it needs seals and maybe a small end bearing. I’ve just got the VW to sort first as I need to give back my old unit and get the van to my new one 🙂👍
Can I ask what paint spraying kit you use. I have 2 older Fords which I’m trying to keep looking good. I’ve addressed a few rust issues using a rattle can with reasonably good results but wonder what the outlay would be for a gun and compressor. Keep up the great work especially on the ST220’s.
thanks for this video. i have a project car that needs a bumper skin doing. i have a 14cfm compressor so ok there and i will be doing this outside. would be nice to see what gun and accessories your using, mixing the paint, where to get it from and how to clean the gun etc etc seeing as your in the uk like me. have subscribed and liked.

We use a 50l Clark compressor and a DeVilbiss Sri Pro spray gun but there are cheaper guns out there 👍🏻

Hi Matthew the spray gun we use is a DeVilbiss Sri Pro and we use Fishers Motor Factors for our paints and equipment 👍🏻
1 tip, never press the spray trigger unless the gun is moving...
Nice job Martin what type of compressor and spray gun do you use for this type of job I've only used spray cans really
Spray gun is a DeVilbiss SRi Pro and compressor was just a Clarke 50 litre
@@ProjectMan ok thank you I take it the paint is all pre mixed paint from a car paint shop sorry for all questions
Yes they mix it for us 👍🏻
Well that looks pretty amazing…did you use your usual water based base coat and then a 2k lacquer?
Yes Brian 👍🏻
what clearcoat did you use?
Max Meyer
