Just to say I cut grass for a living and use two of these mowers the first is now over 12 years old and does probably three to four seasons work each season the other is 10 years old but both are on their 3 rd carb because I have never managed to solve this issue I will now go and try to do what you did but to finish you will not get a more reliable mower than these I do not like the auto choke version and tend to go for the throttle but both are an ok machine sorry a great machine NOT TO BE OVER LOOKED WHEN SPENDING HARD EARNED CASH !

While leavering the bar out, use a hammer to knock the high spot down and that will help it push out and stay out instead of springing back with each push

Proper tidy job as always Gary. I remember having to put some copper grease on the back of the pads when I did my own maintenance as a youngster on the drive, I’ve probably still got the pot it lasted for ever it’ll be a antique pot now 🤣great update 👍👍

I just rattle them back one's of with the Gun Gary. There's no wrong way to do it apec for the win. I buy the apec gloves there better on the hands. Hot stuff😂 with Apec they provide new bolts there good like that. Least you didn't do a parky and show me how to take a wheel of 😂😂. 👍👈

Where did you get the bumper from mate

I have a 92 that I changed head gasket on. In putting back together, I can't get carbs to slide onto boots. Is there something that typically gets in the way? Tried for days into weeks, just won't slip on.

This is two years too late but I’ve just watched this and it was a very good tutorial b u t . . . 10:54 you even mentioned the cut out notch for the corner fit, but then 11:39 you say you just put the cushion on. But you put it on the wrong way round with the cut out corner now on the wrong side at the back. Then you did a down view and you can see the cut out corner on the right at the back which is wrong 13:01 and the full corner at the front butted up to the post where the cut out should be.

Hello mate , also the owner of a Vivaro campervan..having watched your video, I followed the link and bought the bulbs, fitted them this morning which as a useless d.i.y.er was a bloody nightmare 😂.. leftside works fine however the other is as dim as the ones I replaced.. Really like the video, have subscribed, big vauxhall enthusiest, but... had a few comments i hoped you would clear up... what size socket did you use to centralise the friction plate? Light clutch can be air in hydraulics but you never mentioned the bleeding of the clutch. You suspecred the gearbox 'but' then found an issue with the clutch... and then changed the gearbox anyways, so I am a little confused what the root cause of your problem was. Love the array of vauxhall you had in the drive, I will ignore the ford 👀 lol

Connect the lines and electrics BEFORE you put the filter into place. Saves you from having to feel the things in place instead of seeing what you're doing.

Service every 24 months ?, nope, my oil goes out every single year, regardless of the miles. Good oil is cheap engine insurance. A well treated engine nearly runs forever.

That’s great! I have the same car. Could you please advice me if the master cylinder could damage the slave cylinder? I was so unlucky…replaced 2 slave cylinders in less than 3000 miles…Every time I have all the kit parts replaced. All LUK. Now I put a Sachs slave cylinder but still afraid that will fail again. Clutch pedal seems to work well. Thanks for what you’re doing!!!!

There was no sound coming from the speaker on the left door. I changed it as in this video. Still no sound. What is the problem?
