Gary, this reminded me of when I had to replace the strut top mounts on my 2008 Citroen C4 Picasso. Compressing the springs is always a pig of a job. When I had to replace the front springs on my 2009 Mercedes-Benz C200 I ended up farming the job of swapping the springs out to my mechanic once I'd got the struts off. All of your advice is spot on. I mullered the locking keys on both my 2003 Volvo XC90 and a 2013 BMW F30 318d. Neither vehicle has locking wheel bolts now.

They are a bit noisy inside apart from that a decent car just make sure you get the 17 diesel that's the best engine 👌
