Good video Gary I enjoy doing jobs like this on a Sunday if I get chance. I spoke with a friend of mine who has the Nissan equivalent of your van he said the tools in the kit are as you know socket and wrench for the jack and wheel nuts, a wheel trim puller, a star key wrench for undoing the battery cover and depending on options a key for undoing a lockable nut where the spare wheel is located for security. Cheers 👍
Arthur bowers tub and basket compost is excellent for topdressing when seeding. Your size garden 4 or 5 bags should do it. Really helps with extra nutrients and germination
I used to fly model aircraft with this type (but smaller) battery. If I had a battery that became unresponsive I had to put it on a ultra slow charge and this would repair/rejuvenation the lipo battery. There are chargers out there to do this but they are £100 Ish, you can need a fully programmable charger. Look on r/c retailers websites but obviously make sure it does 36v and the required amount of cells. The good thing is it hasn't gone puffy. I sold all my r/c gear a year or so ago otherwise I would do you a loan of it. Also when you store a lipo battery make sure it is between 30-70% charged that way it's safe and maintains good health. Sorry for the massive message and hope it might help.
Gaza The garden will look nice once you have finished it mate.those batteries I have not heard of shocking them back to life that is a new one on me.and those wheel trims do loom much better a bit of paint on ur old one will do wonders like the video Phil In Stoke
Hiya Gary great video as always. In your tool kit for the van. The wire ring pull on the left is for pulling off the wheel trims. Keep up the good work mate.
Gary mate make sure you use wheel chalks when using these jacks mate please I know your only doing a demonstration for real life problems mate , think they might be winter tyres you have put on mate not 100% tho but looking at the tread I would say they are mate
Any 36v battery that can discharge at correct amps will work (20A minimum), hardest part is mounting it on the bike. Plenty of packs available that would fit in the origional case for the bike, they might use different connectors for charging you can cut them off and use origional or mount the new connector on the case, cut the old red and black wires from the battery use an Anderson connector to connect the new battery to the old wires. Dont try jumping the old pack back to life as some cells are dead and some will take a charge, the result could be catastrophic. Seriously though if you dont understand the chemistry dont mess with it or try and replace the battery pack without good knowledge, cut your losses and buy a complete new battery. 👍
Hi mate get a cheap rc car charger off eBay there around £20 comes with loads of connectors and will charger any battery type the yellow battery connectors look like xt60/90 connectors
Just about to say the same thing, I've saved loads of lipos I use for flying rc planes using these cheap chargers. Order one of amazon if it doesn't work send it back so you're not out of pocket.
Very helpful indeed. Thanks
