    Cool stunt, but it was obviously a stunt.
    1. The guy that fell from the truss onto the stage wouldn't fall to the stage, his safety line would have caught him.
    2. People on fire don't jog to put out the flames.
    3. The band/techs wouldn't need to use the mic on the stage, the stage manager's headset can do that.
    4. A smart tech wouldn't crouch directly over a hole in the stage that smoke is coming out of.
    5. A truss doesn't fall apart like that, all of it would have crushed everyone on stage and wouldn't be falling apart and falling piece by piece.
    But it was pretty cool and I give them props for how well the fire looked on the light tower that the guy was climbing on.

    Guess when a band goes downhill they need a gimmick for attention. The downhill slide started with their first music video. Then you have Lars bitching about pirating music. Oh the mighty have fallen. At least Slayer is worth listening to.

      Really? So you think the need for some stupid gimmick is legit? Do you listen to Miley Cyrus too? She has gimmicks that work well too. You need to get off the bandwagon dude...seriously

      @jerryvalentine8883 10 лет назад

      ***** The fact that they sold out is why they make so much money. Fucking joke of a band now. Can I list you some other musicians that are worth a lot of money but their music sucks? Dumbass

    Metallica has had their stage fall apart since 1988 it's all part of the show and it's not just for a movie like people are saying in the comments and I was there and I've seen them five times and they always do this and people always think that there's an accident and there isn't it's great showmanship.

    Saw something similar to this on the load tour. I didn't really know what was going on until the guy ran across the stage on fire and stuff started sparking. They turned the house lights on and brought in the emt to get the guy off the stage. Didn't realize it was fake until they keep playing using small light bulbs suspended from the ceiling.

    I saw this the first time they ever did it, around 96 or so? Worcester Centrum was the firat stop on that tour, Load I believe, seeing it was the first time I was a little concerned at first, but eventually you realize, its part of the show, when he says Boo! We went to the 2nd show in Hartford later that week, already knowing what was going to happen.
