it tells you how cliff burton died who was the the bassist through metallica's first free albums enjoy. - Видеоклипы
I feel like Cliffs death is probably one of the most tragic in terms of rockers, simply because it wasn’t from drugs or alcohol. It wasn’t because of his own bad choices. It was a freak accident
Warrior Studios so was randy Rhoads
It wasn't an accident. The driver was drunk.
KnightWatcher11 It was Randys choice to get on that plane. If a coked up bus driver offerd me a ride on a plane i would decline
Skynyrd too
And he was so fucking good....
The saddest part to me is when James is screaming for cliff
Yes :'(
and cliffs dead to be honest is sad that he die such a young age
And when the bus got dropped again on him after they tried lifting it. That's fucking sad.
Yeah but James and Cliff were the two dopest ones in the band.
That is extremely sad...
Cliff Burton didn't die, the rock gods just needed bass lessons.
Why not Me earlier
@@lemmykilmister5293 Cliff was better
Yeah and they took Randy rhodes also😂 RIP to those legends

He loved Motörhead, that's the card

ScoopMeisterGeneral not trying to start anything but it's kinda rude to make jokes about someone who's died but I get that it was 30 years ago
Hal _ What would sadness and pity do for someone who died 30 years ago? Would he be revived if we were sad and started crying over his death? Get over it.
Moustache Man not the time right now
"Cliff, Cliff, where are you!?" That hit me in the feels.
He is in Hell now, that's even more tragic than the accident itself. Life here on earth is short, but eternity in Hell is endless.

He was only 24...i think that's the saddest fact about all of this. He lived his life peacefully, devoting himself to what made him happy, and then in a matter of seconds death knocks your door and you know you cant ignore it. All i hope is that he's in a better place, watching over Metallica, smiling everytime a fan remembers him. The world just needs to understand how much a person devotes of his life to really grasp what we metalheads feel when we speak about Cliff. Only then, they'll know why he is so apreciated. And why we insist in him coming back.
Didn't realize how young that was for such an iconic bass player in my teens. It hits me now as I approach 30

I like to believe that whenever you hear the sound of thunder, it's just Cliff playing his bass in heaven. Wherever he is, I'm sure he's jamming and having an awesome time in the Great Gig in the Sky. Miss you Cliff
Zoe Fry I don't think so. We have to kill his bass guitar first and then he can jam.
No, that's not at all what I'm assuming. I'm just saying that wherever Cliff is, he's in a better place. I'm sorry if that's what my comment sounded like. I was just trying to pay respects.

You can see the guilt in Kirk's eyes... That sucks dude.
guilt for what? he give way to Cliff on that bus bank, how could you say that.
@@Bfair123 It's survivor's guilt dude, no matter what the circumstances are, all you can keep thinking is "it should have been me, I should have died, not him."
wait so if kirk had won the card game he would have died?
Blazedoes Clash Royale it could be, but if you think about it. When Kirk had picked the card and stayed in his bed maybe things would have been different.
Things would have been different but that’s the theory, that he would have slept where Cliff slept
No one knowing
butterfly effect. seeing as they dont know why the driver fucked up in the first place any detail you change could change the entire result thats important to keep in mind because you just know Kirk was asking himself the same thing,if he won maybe he would die, maybe no one, maybe everyone but him it doesnt matter. still its so creepy ,and Cliff drew the ace of spades ,foreshadowing af
Metallica wouldn't be where they are today without kirk.

The scary thought is; if cliff didn’t chose Kirk’s bunk, It’s likely cliff would be here today, but Kirk wouldn’t be.
It's hard to think about what life as a metallica fan or member would be like if that happened. We get the best bassist on earth back, but we lose one of the best guitarists

You're really telling me a piece of paper can determine if someone lives
Seen that road they crashed on, it's nothin but a back country highway with no lights. Driver nodded off, woke up and over corrected.
There was no black ice, back end of that bus wouldn't have bounced like it did.
Tragic as it may be but when you have a job to do and responsibility with it, there is no excuses and he should have pulled over if he was too tired to continue. Can't blame James for his reaction as it was not just a friend he lost but a brother.
😞 RIP cliff
Pisses me off the driver claimed he had fully rested during the day. Cowardly lies.
@@xMorbidArtx even “fully rested” you can get drowsy driving long boring road. Especially just before the sun rises for whatever reason. And as far as the bus bouncing I see no reason why there couldn’t have been a spot of ice that made the bus skid THEN skip after getting of the patch. Or even skipping once the rear wheels slid of the road perhaps.
But still I’d guess the driver was at fault . He could have been stretching or getting a drink or something that distracted him. Or fell asleep.
Semi trailers off track where as busses don’t really to my knowledge but if your trailer goes off the road it wants to pull you off and Is quite difficult to get back in the road and one may over do it .
Regardless of all that I can’t believe they dropped the bus back on cliff
Edit: I misspelled bud as bud twice lol

I hope cliff wasn't conscious when it happened, to be alive for a few, knowing people are trying to help, but cant isn't something I wanna know before going out, that's horrible. Plus the bus slipping right back on him didn't do any better. Rest In Peace, To The Goat🐐🙏🙌🏽

And people think that metal bands dont have feelings... poor Metallica i cry every time i think about it
"And I heard everyone screaming except for Cliff...and I thought, "Oh my God--something's wrong..."" From that point on in this clip I'm a total wreck.
If I'd had a time machine and only would've had one chance to go back, it would've been that exact road and that exact time where the crash was gonna happen and I would've saved the whole bus. Cliff is not dead, he still lives in our hearts and will live for an eternity
RIP Cliff Burton
How would you do it?
Well it would be nice but would alter the whole timeline of Metallica but yeah still cool tho
So he might have survived if the bus didn't slipped and fell again. RIP Cliff
Honestly I think the chances of him being alive were slim to none. Getting thrown from a bus onto asphalt likely cracked his skull or worse, then the bus landed on him. Really disheartening to think he was still alive but I really doubt it, so that makes me feel a little better.
C30 Nation i dont think so
When the bus first fell on him . It crushed his ribs and spine and his skull
+Krondelo If he was just thrown outside of the bus and the bus never landed on him, I think he would had been alive. He would had a serious injury but I think he still would had been alive. I could see them taking a year break off if that actually did happen. The accident would had still been remembered but not as the sad death thing that happened to Cliff. We are all going to die one day but for Cliff it was way too sad, nobody should die like that in the age of 24. It could had been Kirk but it was Cliff instead.
He could have been alive if he was using a seat belt. Hopefully everyone uses seat belts while riding a bus especially when sleeping.

Ιt's really shocking how a simple card draw could seal someone's fate
I was in 5th grade when this happened. I was still relatively new to Metallica as a band, and I barely understood the impact Cliff had on Metallica and music in general. It wasn’t until my teenage years that I fully understood the ramifications behind Cliff’s death, and why James, Kirk and Lars picked on bassist Jason Newsted so much. Now in my mid 40s, I look back on this event with a heavy heart. As a child, I barely understood what so many grieved over. RIP Cliff; you were (and always will be) a Rock ‘n Roll legend.
Do you remember where and how you learned about Cliff's death?

All these people ranting on Kirk about saying he thought they were going off a cliff, how the hell else are you supposed to word it? “I thought we went off a steep platform made of dirt and rocks”?
I still remember hearing about this. I was a freshman in high school. I think this story saddens me more now than it did then.
