He recommends to listen to the music again & again, know it inside & out, then your subconscious will help guide your aim. Amazing how at any point in any song, he can identify the song! I wonder how Metallica found him?! Truly Great. I think all of Metallica's team share a certain unifying vibe, & each individual reflects or reverberates an aspect of the band's ideals.
The fact that in 2023, all my nephews are fans of Metallica kinda says it all - regarding how modern singer song writers and bands aren't being given a chance to record by the big record companies. All these companies do is spew out remakes of old pop songs... It's disgraceful BUT, the young ones still want good music and Metallica is real good music!

They played 2 nights in a row, i got tickets for both nights, and they played the exact same set, note for note, even saying the same stuff between songs. At the breakdown on Seek and Destroy, James burped into the mike, Kirk grabbed a stick from Lars, ran off with it, and Lars ran after him. Exactly the same thing happened both nights. Pretty lame and cringe TBH. Danzig were the support band, they changed up their set at least.

That whole record particularly and justice for all ...to live is to die into dyers eve...that 24 or so minutes of music is just ....well i dont have to tell any of you ..if anyone gets it yall do singularly or collectively... older dudes may say this all about kill or ride ir master but to me ajfa will never be surpassed as metallicas crown jewel ...rhe black album and loads don't even get into the equation.. i live the boack album for different reasons and none of its musical its time and place and where and what i was doin at the time. ...
