Peter Green was the reason I first picked up a Guitar. I'm glad Greeny is in the hands of someone who takes it out and plays it,rather than it gathering dust behind glass.

It amazes me how well Gibson as well as Leo Fender hit it out of the park from the start that still sets the standards for all basses and guitars to this day. Genius. Especially if you think from the perspective of the mid 1950’s and how revolutionary they were. 🤯

WOWZER! KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! Best ever "Collection" series I've ever seen! Kirk's youthful enthusiasm is contagious! FAIR WARNING: The bar has been raised. 😎
I'm 59 I've been playing guitar since about 1980. I found a Les Paul that's a reissue of that Unicorn Cherry red one he has. It's had a headstock repair. It came back sounding better than ever.
Gotta love that Kirk is just like all of us. He loves the instrument and the joy it brings. He chases those dream guitars and can give them a new life. It's a great thing.
Richard Henry helped my brother sell his 51 Telecaster. Had great stories. Everything Kirk said about selling Greeny was exactly as Richard told it. Cool guitar. Love the initials in it. Fitting, watching this after I just secured a ESP LTD KH V black sparkle in the mail yesterday 🎉🎉 this is the guy that inspired me to get into playing guitar many years ago. It’s a dream to play and the craftsmanship is impeccable.

Kirk is the reason I pickup the guitar so long ago. I love his humility and the passion he has for his guitars. Its amazing. Thank you Gibson...and on Halloween what a "coincidence".
Fantastic episode. Interesting to see "Kirk the Collector". I truly feel that there could be a second episode where the focus goes a little more to all his live guitars we relate to so much. I do understand that Gibson is not eager to promote ESP too much, but ever since the early 90's you can't think them away from Metallica. Curious If you guys would ever do James's collection since he already made his book "Messengers". It needed some TLC, it had been neglected at some point after if left Gary's posession. I love that he plays it on stage and in the studio. He shares it with other people who enjoy it. How much better of an owner could it have gone to? None, it's where it belongs, with Kirk, making music.
Interesting video. It was nice to see Kirk in that Adams family room and all those guitars. Thanks for the video Kirk Hammett, as always you were humble and great. We love you.👍
Speaking to Kirk carving his initials in greeny and him worried about what people think. To that I say. SCREW THEM! It’s your guitar Kirk! You do what you want with it! Really nice episode! Only caveat: Most of his career Kirk played ESP KH-2 in many variants, probably the Mummy being the most famous. Flying V and Greeny are the only 2 notable Gibsons in his career. This might change going forward though.
