      That's true. The maternal side of my family is white by 30. Women in the fam dye by that age. I found out about the deficiencies in my early 20s and had my first whites at 16. I did some personal research to find this commonly occured during slavery. Poor diets and neglect due to oppression has ingrained it into dna. We even have newborns with a patch. We have to normalize women with gray, silver, white hair! Men can go gray at 28 and no one blinks an eye and calls them "silver foxes." Yet women are supposed to hide the gray 'til they are 85. 🤔 Let your sparkles sparkle, ladies!!! Let's make it the hot trend for 2024. I am growing mine out now.

    Premature greying isn't just about ageing; it's often linked to diet, lifestyle, and stress. The body consumes B vitamins more quickly under stress, potentially leading to greying. For instance, post-pregnancy, women might grey due to increased demand for B Vitamins, Iron, and Thyroid hormones. If not addressed, this can result in iron deficiency and thyroid imbalances. Additionally, deficiencies in vitamins B-6, B-12, biotin, D, or E are known contributors to premature greying, as noted in a 2015 Development journal report. People of colour, particularly in colder climates, are more prone to vitamin D deficiency. Getting a blood test to assess vitamin and mineral levels can provide valuable insights into our individual health needs. This scenario underscores the importance of aligning our diet with our genetic needs and managing stress, as these factors can visibly affect our health, including hair health.

    First of all, I do not use grease in my hair, it is too heavy on my hair. I did dye my hair for the first time with 100% Organic Ayurvedic Henna and Indigo. I got the color I wanted. Now what I do to maintain the color between color treatments, which I only color my hair every 4 months with Henna & Indigo. Monthly I use an organic Black Tea Tonic, that has black tea powder, cloves, onion peel (brown skin of the onion), and boil for 15 minutes in distilled water. Wash your hair, spray the roots and leave it on for 4 hours before rinsing it out. I use only organic ingredients. This helps me to get rid of my grays with only organic natural ingredients.

    You mentioned henna as a possible alternative you weren't too interested in. Have you considered another plant alternative SIMILAR to henna but is SPECIFICALLY for using a vegan alternative to chemical dyes (which by the way are damaging to the hair AND can cause cancers & fibroids)? If so consider Indigo & Zizphus? If not please look into these 2 plants. They color the hair a desired shade of black that does NOT scream "fake" or "dyed".

    I am 58 and have very few gray hairs while my 60 year-old sister says her hair is growing in all white now but she is rinsing or coloring it (our maternal grandfather's hair was all white so I suppose she has those same genes). For many years, I have been using a hair oil called Vatika on my hair. I've wondered if the Vatika has been keeping my hair from turning gray or white, but I really don't know. It could just be that I have my dad's genes. He is 87 and still doesn't have many gray hairs. I will continue using the Vatika because I just love it on my hair.

    • @LoveConquerz
      @LoveConquerz 9 месяцев назад +2

      @jamillahwatkins2168 I mix the henna powder with olive oil & let it sit for about 6 hours in a glass bowl cover up. Then I put it on my hair & let the mixture sit for about 4-5 hours. I wash it out with cool to lukewarm water no shampoo then I use a conditioner & rinse it well. I use the Alma oil for everyday normal use. I don't recommend putting any oil after u have freshly colored with the henna so that it can set & be bold in color. Style as usual

    1 table spoon orally of Black Strap molasses unsulfured. Your hair will turn dark. The process takes about 1 month, and the hair gets lighter as the days go by. I am 61, I never dye my hair, and I have no grey hairs. There are many RUclips videos about this.❤

    I used it for a month my hair was much better in terms of texture going full grey made my hair really dry and easy to break this was fixed with the pomade. In terms of colour it did darken the grey but didn't make it totally black. It was almost a dark blond colour. I think personality it would probably work better if you have the salt and pepper stage it would hide the greys by blending them in

    I like the shiny ones amongst the dark hair it looks so 😎
    I personally think white or grey in Afro hair looks aaamazing.
    If you have patience and it doesn’t ruin your curl pattern pure henna on greys. The highlights looks just as good in Afro hair as it does on Asian hair . But the time it takes, I just abandoned it for now.
    For the last year I have been trying to appreciate my natural grey and white hair . The whites I appreciate more . And my favourite is the one shiny long strand I have , it really sparkles lol
    I find a nice new restyle makes you appreciate it more and just feel better . Especially if like me you never cut your hair .

    I love your video, just a quick comment, I read some info about the product you are using, and it doesn't change the color of the greys you already have apparently. So I'd just put it on the scalp instead of individual hair strands. It seems that it makes the new growth dark and that's why it gradually becomes darker, from the natural shedding of the hair.

    Course nobody wants to go grey in their early years unless it's something you choose as a color preference. But if you think going grey is bad try going bald and then grey. Going grey is nothing in comparison to going bald and being grey when young is sometimes a cute look believe it or not especially when your young. When your young you can get away with just about anything without necessarily being depicted as a older person.
