Please if don’t mind, get a blood work done to check if you have a zinc and copper deficiency. A doctor once said, low levels of zinc and copper in body can cause early greys in both men and women.
That's true. The maternal side of my family is white by 30. Women in the fam dye by that age. I found out about the deficiencies in my early 20s and had my first whites at 16. I did some personal research to find this commonly occured during slavery. Poor diets and neglect due to oppression has ingrained it into dna. We even have newborns with a patch. I would add the zinc and copper into food for my children, their hairs have lost little melanin.

I agree, aging is a normal, natural process. I've seen women of all ages with beautiful silver hair. I'm getting some salt and pepper but would love to grow a "Bride of Frankenstein" stripe. I love that look. I'm with you and ready to sparkle!
I stopped dying my hair in 2020 and have an abundance of grey hair. At first I didn't like it but now I'm used to it. There's nothing I can use to dye my hair anyway because of the porosity (it doesn't take well and I'd have to dye my hair weekly which I'm not willing to do).
My grand mother in nigeria never had Grey hair in her 80s .she was using Morgan pomade then.. Just a couple months ago I bought 2 bottles in super market in newyork.

I’m 45 and I have sparkly grey hairs around my edges. Just the front sides and edges in the back , on the side of my head. I do believe it’s hormonal grey hair, due to my first and last pregnancy at forty. I have not experienced any grey hairs anywhere else in my head and it’s not a tiny patch on the ends and front supides.

Perhaps it would have worked if you applied it on your scalp since the melanocytes responsible for are color are located at the root of the hair follicles and not the hair shaft itself. In other words, applying it on the hair itself won’t do anything to change its color.
My mum has been using this product for years and it does work with time. She's >55yrs with very minimal grey hair (less than 10 hair strands). I want to start using it too now.
Love your accent! Thank you for sharing this. My dad grayed very early (18 y/o) I just turned 55 and just started seeing a few. I do not want gray hair if it can't just go all white..I dont want salt and pepper.

When I decided to return to my boxed dye, I noticed it came out with a brown tint. But I've know a lady who swears by it and used it for years she had no grey hair.

Now, I don't know if the results will be permanent but everytime I apply it to my hair, in a few minutes the grey is dark. Super happy here Ms. Lauren. Good bless you sis, for experimenting and sharing. I appreciate you. Much love and respect 🙏🏽❤
Premature greying isn't just about ageing; it's often linked to diet, lifestyle, and stress. The body consumes B vitamins more quickly under stress, potentially leading to greying. For instance, post-pregnancy, women might grey due to increased demand for B Vitamins, Iron, and Thyroid hormones. If not addressed, this can result in iron deficiency and thyroid imbalances. Additionally, deficiencies in vitamins B-6, B-12, biotin, D, or E are known contributors to premature greying, as noted in a 2015 Development journal report. People of colour, particularly in colder climates, are more prone to vitamin D deficiency. Getting a blood test to assess vitamin and mineral levels can provide valuable insights into our individual health needs. This scenario underscores the importance of aligning our diet with our genetic needs and managing stress, as these factors can visibly affect our health, including hair health.

First of all, I do not use grease in my hair, it is too heavy on my hair. I did dye my hair for the first time with 100% Organic Ayurvedic Henna and Indigo. I got the color I wanted. Now what I do to maintain the color between color treatments, which I only color my hair every 4 months with Henna & Indigo. Monthly I use an organic Black Tea Tonic, that has black tea powder, cloves, onion peel (brown skin of the onion), and boil for 15 minutes in distilled water. Wash your hair, spray the roots and leave it on for 4 hours before rinsing it out. I use only organic ingredients. This helps me to get rid of my grays with only organic natural ingredients.
@cbchang6200.....I totally agree with you. Henna is a healthy way of coloring hair. I've been wanting to try it on my hair....I've only used it for fake tattoos...lol Henna has been used for centuries in India and Mediterranean countries. Grease has petroleum.
You mentioned henna as a possible alternative you weren't too interested in. Have you considered another plant alternative SIMILAR to henna but is SPECIFICALLY for using a vegan alternative to chemical dyes (which by the way are damaging to the hair AND can cause cancers & fibroids)? If so consider Indigo & Zizphus? If not please look into these 2 plants. They color the hair a desired shade of black that does NOT scream "fake" or "dyed".

Nothing against anyone in the comments or even the content creator, But I absolutely love the New Crown that Has been producing itself for the past 3-4 years now. I feel as though Grey hair is absolutely Beautiful. I loved my late Grammas hair when I was a child. Always admired it and I never gave it any thoughts to growing older and having my own grey hair. Welp Her I am 50 years young and I am my gramma now in a sense and loving every strand that has grown thus far and looking forward to one day becoming Silver all over.
I took a copper supplement and it definately reversed the gray. Get the best quality. I no longer worry about my gray hair and have learned to embrace it!!!
I started using this product about one month now, and I noticed the changes in my hair. I observe that part of my hair is becoming dark. Viewing from the Caribbean.
I am 58 and have very few gray hairs while my 60 year-old sister says her hair is growing in all white now but she is rinsing or coloring it (our maternal grandfather's hair was all white so I suppose she has those same genes). For many years, I have been using a hair oil called Vatika on my hair. I've wondered if the Vatika has been keeping my hair from turning gray or white, but I really don't know. It could just be that I have my dad's genes. He is 87 and still doesn't have many gray hairs. I will continue using the Vatika because I just love it on my hair.
I was thinking that I need to find a hair colouring for grey hair that won't harm my scalp or break it. Then I came across your video, so I am going to try it. Thank you very much.
@jamillahwatkins2168 I mix the henna powder with olive oil & let it sit for about 6 hours in a glass bowl cover up. Then I put it on my hair & let the mixture sit for about 4-5 hours. I wash it out with cool to lukewarm water no shampoo then I use a conditioner & rinse it well. I use the Alma oil for everyday normal use. I don't recommend putting any oil after u have freshly colored with the henna so that it can set & be bold in color. Style as usual
My mother is 79yrs. She has used Morgan pomade as long as she remembers. She has just a few greys and me at 48yrs have more grey hair than my mother. So this video confirms what my mother told me about this pomade she has used for over 50yrs
Hi I have been using this product and will agree with you didnt get the result I was expecting. Are we missing something that others are getting right?
I have used Morgan for the past 5 years. My friends think that I colour my hair which is false. Morgan seems to work for me. However it fades my plate gold jewellery. You have to use for long though
Thank you so much for this! Why didn’t I think of this before?! I have some light brown pencils I was thinking what I was going to do with them since they are lighter than what I expected. Well, thanks to you, I now know what to do with them. They are the same color as the henna/indigo that I have on my greys.
Oh yeah it works. I bought it at the beauty supply store one time just cause it really works. It smells good and it leaves the shine to the hair. And yes it works on those gray hairs
Do you know there is another Morgan pomade? You said that your pomade is more beige/yellow, but i bought Morgan pomade, and mine is grey. Just one day, it seems like i see a difference. Try using the grey pomade and see if you see a difference..
I tried this in my early twenties and while it worked fabulously for keeping my hair luscious and dark, no one warned me about the accompanying, uhm, FRAGRANCE. You need to shampoo pretty regularly to avoid that scent. IYKYK 😂😂😂
I saw a comment/review on Amazon that said you spritz with water dampen your hair first then apply the morgans, then warm your hair in the sunshine or with a hair dryer. I'm willing to try it. I've earned every grey hair (been through hell and back and survived) I call them my battle scars. Yes they are festive like tinsel but there are full of wisdom too😘
1 table spoon orally of Black Strap molasses unsulfured. Your hair will turn dark. The process takes about 1 month, and the hair gets lighter as the days go by. I am 61, I never dye my hair, and I have no grey hairs. There are many RUclips videos about this.❤
@alisezalise My hair is naturally medium/dark brown. Since the molasses will darken the hair, will it darken my natural color or just the gray? I only have a small patch of gray in one area and a few strands all over. However I love my natural color. Your help is appreciated. Thank you!
Your hair is beautiful. Curious what texture it is, if you know.... As far as the product, I wonder if washing your hair washes out the darkening. It's hard to see how it would darken hair over time unless someone doesn't wash it out. Hmmm. But I am just hearing about this product so I don't know how stuff like that would work.
New to your channel and just subscribed. Thanks for being so transparent. Like, someone else said if your hair is low porosity, that could be why it did not work or might take much longer to work.
I used it for a month my hair was much better in terms of texture going full grey made my hair really dry and easy to break this was fixed with the pomade. In terms of colour it did darken the grey but didn't make it totally black. It was almost a dark blond colour. I think personality it would probably work better if you have the salt and pepper stage it would hide the greys by blending them in
Thank you for this very Informative Video! I was so excited and nearly Cried when you revealed it did Not Work. I even found it on Amazon and was about to Try it until I saw the 62% - 48% RATINGS; It's apparently useless.
I like the shiny ones amongst the dark hair it looks so 😎 I personally think white or grey in Afro hair looks aaamazing. If you have patience and it doesn’t ruin your curl pattern pure henna on greys. The highlights looks just as good in Afro hair as it does on Asian hair . But the time it takes, I just abandoned it for now. For the last year I have been trying to appreciate my natural grey and white hair . The whites I appreciate more . And my favourite is the one shiny long strand I have , it really sparkles lol I find a nice new restyle makes you appreciate it more and just feel better . Especially if like me you never cut your hair .
I love your video, just a quick comment, I read some info about the product you are using, and it doesn't change the color of the greys you already have apparently. So I'd just put it on the scalp instead of individual hair strands. It seems that it makes the new growth dark and that's why it gradually becomes darker, from the natural shedding of the hair.
Me too.. half of my family turn gray in late teens and half still dark in their 50s. My mom didn’t turn gray until her 60s and my dad turn gray in his 30s but he has cancer. It’s genetic and stress for us because we go through much much trauma.
The only question I like to ask is, does it work? Cos I know the product, it does not work for me, please if you used it and it works kindly let me know.
Have you tried this all-natural black shampoo? I watched this video named SECRETS OF BLACK SHAMPOO HIDE GREY LIKE A PRO. This RUclipsr's name is Rubies Beauty Lifestyle. Course nobody wants to go grey in their early years unless it's something you choose as a color preference. But if you think going grey is bad try going bald and then grey. Going grey is nothing in comparison to going bald and being grey when young is sometimes a cute look believe it or not especially when your young. When your young you can get away with just about anything without necessarily being depicted as a older person.

Each time I see Morgans pomade, I think of my Dad. He used it since I was a little girl till when he passed on about 10 years ago. He had such lush and beautiful textured hair. Very dark and beautiful hair. I will have to give Morgans pomade a try now that you have talked about it. Your hair looks very beautiful.
Sorry for your loss and thank you for watching.
My dad also has used Morgan’s pomade through out the years and I have more grey than him lol

My Gran Aunt use the same Hair grease my grandma and Mom strated using it My grandma Discover it has ingredients that says it can cause Cancer My grandma and Mom stop using it from that My Gran Aunt Died of Cancer please read the Label.
I've known someone that used it with great results. I used it and got ok results. I think it works better for some than others.
I came across this video and I am impressed with this beautiful young lady presentation. So most definitely I will be trying this product to see how it works.
Thank you 🙏🏾
This stuff works. My 80 year old neighbour uses it. I used it but the sulphur tarnished my earrings.
natural clove based hair butter has helped darken my hair and it helps it grow
Do you buy a product or do you make a butter? If so, care to share?
Can you please share? I'm almost 50 & I think I'm much more grey than my older girlfriends lol.
@@starwarrior7420 clove and ginger hair butter handmade by forever blessed limited a UK etsy seller , it says on the jar its good for premature greying but you can try other seller if you have a shipping issue because of where you live

God wants us to have a white/gray head he says it's wisdom , dont fight it ,embrace it. He actually call it a hoary head in the bible. Be blessed that you get to see it coming thru, means you are blessed to be living to see❤❤❤❤
You are right. But humans quickly see you as old when you have grey hair.
@efe3097 humans ain't got a hell or heaven. So we have to NOT learn the way of the world. It will deceive us everytime... be blessed family in christ❤️❤️
Thank you for the colorful content and honesty above all else!!
I appreciate that!
Thanks for your results. When you started this I was looking on line at this product and found mixed reviews regarding the color of the product and smell being different from different vendors.
Thank you for watching Robbin and also thank uk for the info. 👌🏾
Thank You for Telling the whole Truth! Refreshing!!❤❤❤That is Appreciated!!
You’re welcome. Thanks for watching x
Consuming black strap molasses helps over time.
True but the process is very slow especially if you went fully gray.
I took a copper supplement and it definately reversed the gray. Get the best quality.
I no longer worry about my gray hair and have learned to embrace it!!!
what brand?
I started using this product about one month now, and I noticed the changes in my hair.
I observe that part of my hair is becoming dark.
Viewing from the Caribbean.
I got excited, glad I watched to the end. The only thing that gave me pause was its color. Thank you.
You’re welcome 😊
I am 58 and have very few gray hairs while my 60 year-old sister says her hair is growing in all white now but she is rinsing or coloring it (our maternal grandfather's hair was all white so I suppose she has those same genes). For many years, I have been using a hair oil called Vatika on my hair. I've wondered if the Vatika has been keeping my hair from turning gray or white, but I really don't know. It could just be that I have my dad's genes. He is 87 and still doesn't have many gray hairs. I will continue using the Vatika because I just love it on my hair.
I never saw it sold anywhere, where can I buy this ???
I was thinking that I need to find a hair colouring for grey hair that won't harm my scalp or break it. Then I came across your video, so I am going to try it. Thank you very much.
You are so welcome!
My daughter is 23 and has like a crop circle of grey on her crown, it's pretty and she is very laid back about it. Grey is fashionable these days
I use henna powder with oil & it last about 2 months & my hair is growing like crazy & I use Alma oil.
Thank you for that tip 😉
@LoveConquerz, what’s your process? Do you just mix henna powder with oil and apply it to grays? Do you rinse it out?
@jamillahwatkins2168 I mix the henna powder with olive oil & let it sit for about 6 hours in a glass bowl cover up. Then I put it on my hair & let the mixture sit for about 4-5 hours. I wash it out with cool to lukewarm water no shampoo then I use a conditioner & rinse it well. I use the Alma oil for everyday normal use. I don't recommend putting any oil after u have freshly colored with the henna so that it can set & be bold in color. Style as usual
@@LoveConquerz thank you!!
@@LoveConquerz what brand of henna do you use?
Black Jamaican Castor is the best thing for grey hair it's the best so far
So Not True.
My mother is 79yrs. She has used Morgan pomade as long as she remembers. She has just a few greys and me at 48yrs have more grey hair than my mother. So this video confirms what my mother told me about this pomade she has used for over 50yrs
Thank you Baby, We Are Most Grateful to for revealing this great product!!!😍😍😍
Grey starts from within ❤️🙏
🙄
Thanks for the update. I'm hoping to find something to cover mine too.
The main way to darken hair is from the inside out. Use ''HE SHOU WU". It will darken the hair or at least stop the gray from spreading.
Thank you for this. 👌🏾
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 Welcome.
What's HE SHOU WU? And where do you get it from?
@@amazonjunglez1188 It is a pill, not sure whats in it. You will have to order it on the internet. i have never seen it in stores. But it does work.
Dang, you're fine!!!! I need to get this product asap...
Please try henna and indigo. Then maintain with rice water rinse after 2 weeks. Good luck.
Oh yeah it works. I bought it at the beauty supply store one time just cause it really works. It smells good and it leaves the shine to the hair. And yes it works on those gray hairs
You are right ! I have used Morgan for years .
Do you know there is another Morgan pomade? You said that your pomade is more beige/yellow, but i bought Morgan pomade, and mine is grey. Just one day, it seems like i see a difference. Try using the grey pomade and see if you see a difference..
All you need is zinc and copper , biotin , vitamin Bs , fish oil.
Lady Lauren relax live your life, let the gray hair be specially if it a family genetic. I started to have gray hair when I was 18 years old.
Love your glasses - please share link where you purchased them from
I asked the same lol let’s find it I need those in my life.
I tried this in my early twenties and while it worked fabulously for keeping my hair luscious and dark, no one warned me about the accompanying, uhm, FRAGRANCE. You need to shampoo pretty regularly to avoid that scent. IYKYK
😂😂😂
I saw a comment/review on Amazon that said you spritz with water dampen your hair first then apply the morgans, then warm your hair in the sunshine or with a hair dryer. I'm willing to try it. I've earned every grey hair (been through hell and back and survived) I call them my battle scars. Yes they are festive like tinsel but there are full of wisdom too😘
Oh wow. I haven’t come across that application process.
I can attest to earning the greys 🤣
This was really interesting, thanks for sharing beautiful lady! Have you tried Henna?
Thank you! I haven't just yet, I've been avoiding henna.
my mother used this for a very long time, and after a while her greys turned brown then black.. i used to do the application for her every other night
I have it,tried it never saw changes, probably I didn’t use it fr a long period of time.
I should get back it to and see if it works.
The smell of Morgans pomade is awful.
Do you have any suggestions to deal with the unbearable smell?
I think she'll still be gorgeous with silky silver hair
Thank you 🤩
Is it safe though? We need to be careful about chemicals getting into our system?
1 table spoon orally of Black Strap molasses unsulfured. Your hair will turn dark. The process takes about 1 month, and the hair gets lighter as the days go by. I am 61, I never dye my hair, and I have no grey hairs. There are many RUclips videos about this.❤
Do you just take a table spoon of it or can I mix it in tea, water etc.?
@@clayalston7960 You can mix it. I find it more effective if I just take a table spoon by itself.
Thank you for this
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 ❤️
@alisezalise
My hair is naturally medium/dark brown. Since the molasses will darken the hair, will it darken my natural color or just the gray? I only have a small patch of gray in one area and a few strands all over. However I love my natural color. Your help is appreciated. Thank you!
I am watching from South Africa, where can I get this product please
Your hair is beautiful. Curious what texture it is, if you know.... As far as the product, I wonder if washing your hair washes out the darkening. It's hard to see how it would darken hair over time unless someone doesn't wash it out. Hmmm. But I am just hearing about this product so I don't know how stuff like that would work.
Girl your glasses are so cute! Sorry it didn’t color your hair. At least you got some moisture 😂❤.
Thank you sis. They make me feel fancy 😂.
It is what it is lol 🫣
It occurs to me that perhaps you should have used a clarifying shampoo first to ensure there was no product buildup on the hair.
Very interesting what is the name of the product where to find it I want to try it
New to your channel and just subscribed. Thanks for being so transparent. Like, someone else said if your hair is low porosity, that could be why it did not work or might take much longer to work.
Hey 👋🏽. Thank you for subscribing. You’re welcome. That’s a very good point 👌🏾
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 please send me the full name and the picture. Thanks
I used it for a month my hair was much better in terms of texture going full grey made my hair really dry and easy to break this was fixed with the pomade. In terms of colour it did darken the grey but didn't make it totally black. It was almost a dark blond colour. I think personality it would probably work better if you have the salt and pepper stage it would hide the greys by blending them in
I didn't start getting grey until my mid 50s... now I am almost 60 and still look like mines are in my 40s... little grey in my head...
Thank you for this very Informative Video! I was so excited and nearly Cried when you revealed it did Not Work.
I even found it on Amazon and was about to Try it until I saw the 62% - 48% RATINGS; It's apparently useless.
Grey hair is beautiful also and you're beautiful sis lovely smile
Thank you Genette. 🤩
Your hair is beautiful even with the sparkles.
Thank you 🙏🏾
It stimulates, it burns 🔥
I like the shiny ones amongst the dark hair it looks so 😎
I personally think white or grey in Afro hair looks aaamazing.
And my favourite is the one shiny long strand I have , it really sparkles lol
I find a nice new restyle makes you appreciate it more and just feel better .
Thank you for that tip Rudea 👍🏽
I was hoping it would work on my grey eye brows.
I started greying on my head when I was 15.
Me too.. half of my family turn gray in late teens and half still dark in their 50s. My mom didn’t turn gray until her 60s and my dad turn gray in his 30s but he has cancer. It’s genetic and stress for us because we go through much much trauma.
Please I'm in my early thirtys and all my hair is turning grey, I really need this product. I'm in Ghana, where can I get some to buy?
Love the content keep your greys its part of your journey 😊
Thank you! Will do! X
I like your comment ,gray hair is part of our life journey well said 👏 thank you.
henna/indigo naturally darkens, but it's messy. I make herb tea and spray my roots. it turns red, then darker after.
which herb tea?
You can try plants like amla, brahmi, rosemary, indigo and similar to naturally darken your hair.
My sister's who head turned Grey she started taking minerals her hair has turned back black and still turning back black
May I ask what minerals she takes?
I’d like to know which minerals as well. Pls share.
The only question I like to ask is, does it work? Cos I know the product, it does not work for me, please if you used it and it works kindly let me know.
Have you tried this all-natural black shampoo? I watched this video named
SECRETS OF BLACK SHAMPOO HIDE GREY LIKE A PRO. This RUclipsr's name is Rubies Beauty Lifestyle. She used this all-natural shampoo, and it dyed her hair within 10 minutes. It worked fantastic on her hair, and you don't have to use it every day.
👋🏽 Hey Emeth. Thank you for your comment. I literally watched Rubie’s video this morning. Definitely want to try it. 🙌🏾
