  • Street scenes are the bread and butter of UrbanSketching. In this video, I share my tips, tricks and experience on how to sketch a busy street with many different elements.
    I am a regular urban sketcher, actively involved with Urbansketchers Mumbai chapter. I love sketching outdoors using a line and wash watercolor technique. My technique relies upon identifying big shapes and gently building values.

    The materials I use in this demo are as follows:
    Paper: ArtLounge Artist's Watercolour Paper. A4
    Paints: 9 assorted artist grade watercolours
    Brushes: 4, 8, 12 round, Escoda Versatil, local flat brush
    Pens: Sailor Fude ink pen (Carbon Black ink), white glass pencil, white gel pen
