  • Practicing watercolour painting daily is the fastest way to improve ones art. In this tutorial, I show you how to paint a quick watercolour bird for a daily art challenge such as Inktober. I paint a Peregrine Falcon using a loose and direct watercolour technique.

    The materials I use in this demo are as follows:
    Paper: 1/8, Baohong Academy, cold-pressed
    Paints: Assorted artist grade watercolours from White Nights, Mijello, Sennelier etc. Watercolour pencils.
    Brushes: size 0,2 mop (goat hair), size 1/4 dagger, size 6, 3, 0 round.
