I'm impressed. The Kroxigors and the Agradon Lancers are far more imposing and just all-around better sculpts. I might actually pick some of these up just because I know they'd be a blast to paint. I'm thinking bright and vivid contrast colors would work incredibly well. Ugh, I love the Slann Starmaster as well!

I really like the new abrasion lancers, but it sucks that the old knights aren’t really translatable.. now my painted 80 knights that I have feel like a wasted investment ☹️
I don't play this army and I love these! 👍 GW has stepped up their game with these new Seraphon miniatures. For people that play this army there is a company called Lost Kingdom miniatures they have models that are comprable to this. They were originally cast in resin but are available in 3D printable files.
The new Saurus are a really good and natural update to the model. I also don’t mind the size increase, because its only minor one and with it the figures scales better to other Aos figures. The new Kroxigor, while having the same pose is nice, just doesn’t look like a Kroxigore. Its not an update. Its remake and i don’t think the Kroxigor needed to be entirely remade, just updated to look less goofy. The Slann is pretty good, even though I think he looks a bit too much like Jabba the Hutt and not so much like a toad. However the main problem with the figure is the massive base. Why is it so freaking large. It doesn’t add anything and you already have Lord Kroak, if you want a Slann with a massive seat. The first of the riders doesn’t look like the original in the slightest and the size increase seems to massive, even through some size increase was needed. The second one I like even through again it just seems too large.
This is a good comparison I am trying to see what models I can use on some round base to battalion square move bases for the old world, I do not own old Cold One models or Krox so I am hoping I can still use my AOS Krox and use the Raptordons as proxies I was going to use aggradons but they are too big for proxies unless I say 1 model is 2 units of cold ones. I might have to go and find a old slann model however.
Im still salty that I should have waited and not gotten that Seraphon saurus start collecting box. So much useless shit now. Damn that Crox is amazing looking.
I love the new models, but I have a really old lizardman army with square bases going back like 20 years, I feel like the new ones don't match too many of my old models good enough. Guess that's an excuse to ebay old stuff and buy new :) But the old ones are all painted because I used to have that thing called spare time, the new ones would probably be gray forever
Love any useful seraphon content. Which is your favourite new kit from this army so far? Also you could compare the size of old 2nd edition metal salamander vs the Spawn of Chotec.

You know, they're really making it look better in the new sculpts. And since they added like A LOT of textures, they made it easier to apply contrast over it (since contrast/speedpaints prefer extreme recess and high points to bring out their best)

I don't know. I do prefer the mace dimensions on the older Kroxigor. And the head design on the old ones has its own charm.

I didn't have the old metal Salamander or I would have :) My favourite is still the new Kroxigors

The old shields fit on the new Saurus. You just need to do some trimming as the new ones shield arms have the handle of the shield built in.
They took some of the ideas OPR done with their Lizard Bois.

What is the actual size and base size of the new kroxigor?
The Kroxigors are on 50mm bases and stand (bottom of base to top of head) about 6cm tall :)
