It's a really amazing video. It still lingers in my memory. Of course, it takes a long time to make it, but I'd like to hear it if you have a plan! Skaven? only Lizardmen? warhammer 3?
Imagine being the Chaos warrior who got killed by a skink. You're falling into the afterlife and Khorne pulls you aside like "Bruh. You're making me look bad here."
To be honest if memory serves in 6th ed common saying was "remove X replace with skinks" skinks weren't bad. They are like more competent and faster goblins
It's so refreshing to see lizardmen portrayed as heroes. In most rpgs, they are either portrayed as barbarous, evil beings or-worse-near mindless savages whose only goal is survival. The humans actually appreciate that their intervention! And the battle between the chaos giant and the carnosaur was epic! Go lizardmen! Go Crocs! And-most importantly-go Dinos!
I'm not too well versed in Warhammer lore, but I do love the idea of another race coming in to save the day despite of what the humans might label them, kinda like ninja turtles
The thing is that Lizardmen don't want anyone in their homelands. That includes the encroaching humans that have been colonizing their terf. The only reason why Lizardmen would choose to fight alongside humans is because they have a common enemy in the orks, skaven, and chaos.
@@leonardomarquesbellini the lizard men have a mostly non-interventionism stance, the only lizardmen who spawn outside lustria and the south of that other island are that chameleon skink and nakki , who both target chaos. The only reason the lizardmen would beat the shit out of someone is if they invade their homeland (which let’s be honest in total war 3 it’s hardly even the lizardmens area, they all die like turn 20.) or if you’re chaos/rat men.
It's funny how we, warhammer fans, like so much the fact that every faction hates one another but get so exited to see one hero faction not killing another
'Cause moments of unity is always epic. Just like that one scene in LOTR: The Return of the King where Theoden spent the previous movie bemoaning Gondor for not helping Rohan, but when the beacons were lit and Gondor calls for aid, he was all like "And Rohan will answer!" And everyone was like, "Hell yeah!"
I mean in WHF its more most of the Order races dislike but ultimately tolerate each other. Even that way with some of the Chaos races. Dwarfs and Men are pretty tight though. This is why Skaven are the best, they hate everyone.
I like how casual the Lizardmen are. They just walk by the fleeing human couple like "Don't mind us, folks. Just gotta kill some Chaos Warriors, then we'll be out of your hair."
I appreciate what Paul did so much. This shows that despite being cold and merciless to the hot blooded, the Lizardmen are neither cruel nor malicious. They are just following their plan to overcome chaos and restore balance. And when needed they can become the best allies the world of warhammer fantasy needs.
what you don't see that does infact happen is after the battle the lizardmen eat all the humans to regain their energy and heal themselves after the battle....
I like lizardmen to just want to erradicate Chaos and not have a moral compass honestly...at least when it comes to Saurus warriors. Skinks having one I don't mind. They are the neutral faction, who just want to rebalance the energy. A bit like militaristic druids.
Yeah... Restore balance of a dead alien race that fallen eons ago... By chaos gods... Lizards are trying to make an hole in the see and the "End of Times" showed it.
Let's take a short moment to appreciate the chaos champion who, knowingly, sacrificed himself to cover the retreat of wounded comrades. They are the baddies, but you havbe to admit, that is pretty cool.
in my opinion, he was just looking for support from his comrades, but when he saw that the squad was defeated, he decided to die with weapons in his hands, probably counting on the fact that the dark gods would not forget it.
I think he had no choice. He was challenged directly, face to face. He looked around to see if he could get away with claiming it was to anyone else, but he was the only one. Would he refuse the challenge, his god would have made death oh so much better fate. So, he sighed, and went to die. As a better option. At least that is my take on that =]
@@LeeNTien I think your take is right, that sigh before the charge was like "yeah this ain't good" but actually the lizards were the dishonorable ones there. 2v1 tactics. Chaos gods probably don't give a shit though.
@@hildebrand2252 Not really dishonorable. There are bunch of heroes and even units that have smaller creatures like a skink that act as helpers (for defense, additional attacks, rations, etc...). Chaos Warrior could've had a small nurglite imp for the same purposes.
@@eugenesofronov2478 could have had an imp, but he didn’t so... Just saying even though the chaos warrior was called out on his own it wasn’t to a 1v1.
the best part of this animation is that you really feel the weight behind the fighting. when g-man hits people it looks and sounds like he's smacking them with big-ass ball of jade, and i love it
There were some creators talking about it. Indypride gave his opinion. I doubt Vermintide would consider a DLC either, considering its a lot of new assets and Darktide is on its way.
I think I just noticed something. Kroq-Gar was the very last survivor of the ruined city of Xhotl along with his Carnosaur Grymloq. The rest of the ones he grew up with were all slaughtered by Daemons and the forces of Chaos. Probably unintentional, but those two humans may have been the last survivors of their city. Cold-blooded he may be, but maybe even Kroq-Gar doesn't want the same thing to happen twice.
@@johanneshjortshj8646 Hey I agree, but unfortunately you and I both know how this will end. Either they'll have the video taken down, or they'll make the creator put it on GW's pay-site where it will die. That's mainly due to how greedy the whole thing has become and most aren't really wanting to support GW till things change.
@@danielbeck2739 You seriously think they'd bother with this silly little animation lmfao. This looks like it was done by a goofy kid who knows a lot about animating.
1:41 Holy shit, I never realized just *MASSIVE* Kroq-Gar was. He dwarfs the Chaos Warrior (who is already at least a head taller than an average human) When you’re playing total war, you forget just how big Saurus are when you’re looking at them from a top-down view. And then there’s Nakai…
@@LewisInc Yup, it's an easy thing to forget. Seven-to-eight foot tall, naturally armoured and incredibly strong, a lone Saurus would be an issue for a squad of Empire troops, but an army of thousands, led by a magic-toad capable of moving mountains with its mind, and assisted by literal dinosaurs. Forget guns, give everyone a damn cannon or you don't stand a chance. I think the Lizardmen may actually be the strongest faction in the world by a longshot, but they just can't fully coordinate and mobilise due to the majority of their Mage-Priests being trapped in mental battled with Chaos. If every Slann was to awaken, woe be to those who oppose the Great Plan, for the Cold-Blooded with conquer all!
I loooove the Lizardmen. Favorite faction. The crazy part I've always seen is, why don't the Lizardmen get along with all the Lawful/Anti-Chaos factions? Or vice-versa? The Empire should be all about allying with the Lizardmen in the face of the chaos invasion.
Humanity destroys all in the end, and are the source of a great many aspects of chaos. Greed, desire for expansion and many other things are a pox upon humanity. The lizardmen are the ancient protectors, they probably see the short lives and weakness of the humans, mixed with the emotion that they align themselves with so flippantly, to be a crippling detriment unworthy to stand by the side of the lizardmen. It's literally in their every action "The Great Plan" a plan so great that it span eons of time, and the lizardmen follow it as a doctrine. Compare that to the short life of a human martyr, general or leader and it shows just how close minded and short sighted humanity is in comparison. It may take countless spawnings and thousands of years for a single tablet of prophecy to come to pass. In that time the entire empire could have grown and then fallen. To conclude, the lizardmen simply find humanity to be weak, shortsighted and almost childlike; flailing against chaos' encroachment while the lizardmen stand tall, a bulwark against chaos that show no weakness with their toughened scales, links to the animals around them and countless years spent preparing while humanity bickered amongst itself for land and resources.
@@cristianday7372 that is a pretty badass take, I love it. That said, I could see at the time of the invasion, I would see the Lizardmen taking whatever allies as needed to ensure chaos did not win. I felt so... cheated... when after all the preparations to fight chaos the Lizardmen took, they got rolled and then just flew off on spaceship pyramids. I was so... dissappointed by GW.
@@banditsix2870 Yeah... well we all know GW kinda sucks at a good amount of its stories. Don't get me wrong some of them are absolutely great. However they're diamonds in the rough riverbed of flowing mediocrity that crippled the end times.
Lizardmen are big good, not big nice. Lizardmen generally believe that the other races are unreliable. They have their place in protecting the world, but are just as often means to that end. Lest we forget that time some Slann committed mass genocide of the Dwarves, and ended their civilization almost overnight, because some continents and mountains were a bit out of place, so they rearranged them, which really really sucks to be underground during that move. In another way, Lizardmen are less traditionally "good" and more just hardline anti-evil. Lizardmen mostly protect the other races by coincidence, although occasionally a Slann will decide that a given population must be defended for some later purpose. Mazdamundi in particular is pretty hardline cold to the warmbloods, and has no problem genociding them for not doing what he wants them to do. Kroq-Gar is, perhaps unexpectedly, probably the single most civil, diplomatic, and "nice" Lizardman figure, as he, fairly uniquely among Saurus, has developed ideas about things like "allies", "future debt repayment", and "letting the warmbloods stuff get burnt down means they can't help later'. He's a real softy. Kroq-Gar is the one that might actually show up to a human city being besieged, for the express purpose of defending it so that Karl "catch these hands" Franz will repay that in sending some guns to shoot up Daemons someday. And Skinks, left to their own devices, love humans more than any other Lizardman morph. They think they're delicious.
@@aprinnyonbreak1290 yo where is the basis of that character analysis on Kroq-Gar? I didn't know much beyond the events at Xhotl and vague references to fighting undesirables all over the place
Lets check some boxes 1.) Kroq-Gar, Nakai, Gor-Rok, and Tehenhauin “avenger style” charge into enemy ranks ✅ 2.) Tehenhauin riding Nakai’s shoulders and proceeding to get fired from his hand like a piss missile ✅ 3.) Grymloq getting some well deserved screentime ✅ All that’s needed was Mazadamundi and Kroak laying some hate and discontent with magic and Tiktaq’to gliding in on a Ripperdactyl. Absolutely fantastic and filled my Lizardman heart to the fullest
to be fair, you cant really have the glory of lord Kroak in this video..... he'd show up, flop his fat frog meat down, and just kinda win, like wholesale, easy wipe, thanks for coming chaos, but the entire battle is already won and you just don't know it yet.
@@andrewlawson7388 Well, no actual _malice,_ but I'd still avoid Tehenhauin. Sotek requires constant warmblood sacrifices, and if there's no skaven around he's been known to send humans to the altars instead.
I mean, the Lizardmen prolly don't even know their there or atleast they don't acknowledge that they are. Plus, there actually was this one human, Marco Columbo, who was so based he befriended and allied the Lizardmen and is still tight with them during the events of Warhammer, shame he isn't even mentioned in game
@@zlyboby5317 1:32 but in WH2 I don't believe they fare particularly well against Chaos Warriors but I play with a few mods and can't recall base stats
@@chrisdrinkwater6581 Depends, I play on normal difficulty battles bcs I really dislike how higher difficulties make temple guards lose to maurauders... And I think they dont do that bad on normal. Also it might be regiment of renown :)
That was fucking awesome! On so many levels. And I love the idea of these four legendary Lizardmen lords being bros at the spa when they're not fighting xD That fistbump hahaha
Oh my god. I love the Lizardmen and seeing how big Saurus actually should be was also quite amazing to see in perspective against a meaty chaos warrior.
Great video. That one chaos warrior who got called out by Nakai has such a relatable reaction lol. Also just generally loved how the various fights went, like the hook on the temple guard polearm being used to gain control of his opponents halberd and other nice little thing like that. And of course, Grimlock (THE GOODEST BOY) just pouncing the giant in the end without it accomplishing anything but being a momentary nuisance is both great and completely accurate to how giants preform in game.
once immortal empires is out! Lizardmen " Finally! My old opponent, OUR BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY!!!" Chaos daemons " Indeed! " The humans, dwarves, and elves " we got your back lizards "
I love this, so fuckin much. Everyone gets equal amounts of badassery, the animation quality is perfect, the humor is well done, the pacing is perfect, what else can I say?? And I love seeing the Lizardmen defend the Empire citizens, a good was of showing that they aren’t savages, or careless, they know who’s good and who’s bad.
This is "What if Kroq-Gar, Gor-Rok, Tehenhauin, Nakai, and a regiment of temple guard went on an RPG adventure to smite Chaos. Oh, let's not forget Grymloq!"
This is honestly one of the best animations I’ve seen, one of the few times I’ve seen a Non-human army being on the side of good ( plus crocodile/ alligator warriors are just downright cool ) You’ve earned a new subscriber!
Tehenhauin !!!!!!! lizards riding other lizards ..isn't that like a centaur riding on back of a horse ..lol. love WH Total War stuff !!! this was amazing ,like the dude that did the superman and hulk videos ..xoxoxo
@@raeking8151 I wouldn't say dumber, just... They're all about instincts. They are "programmed"/designed to be brutish pack mules. But yeah, even then, they're pretty friggin' dumb.
Why do I see this as some kind of lizardmen vermintide? Kroq gar as a anti-monster captain, Tehenhauin as a damage caster of beasts, Gor rok as a unbreakable defender and Nakai as a monster crowd controller who punches through chaff
You know guys...... IMAGINE if the "End times" was written by a competent writer and instead of Nuking the Lizardmen they would have or atleast some of them would have been transported to the Empire and we could have had a badass Lizardmen fight a war to end all wars making it so that this way they would have a "If we die we will die burning brighter then all in the darkness" kind of mentality and this way fighting out the last battle and they would die in glory like for fuck sake the Skaven were so overly buffed for the end times that it wasn't even Chaos which won the game so its bullshit and what is ALSO bullshit is that in the new Age of Sigmar setting the Lizardmen are just recreations of what they would be if they would have lived to see another day meaning the Lizardmen of the new setting are not even the real Lizardmen which is a shame considering that they are such heroic beings and having them do more good would benefit the story greatly then again we still have Total Warhammer so atleast we can apprechiate them again where they were before
You should really read up on the lore of AoS 5 years later. Lizardmen are pretty much the same as in WHFB now, except they are more numerous, more mobile, and better equipped. You want to see lizardmen do more than sit around in their jungles and get attacked by skavens ? AoS is the place where they take their flying temple-fortresses and go nuke chaos cities, Or teleport in collumn of light in the midst of battle against chaos, death and destruction to turn the odds in favor of overrun armies of order. There also are celestial lizardmen who are just evocations of the old lizards, like in the beginning of AoS, but they are a small portion of them, basically what the slann created to fight while the spawning pools were booting up.
@@oscarpoullard9920 I mean I have heard that the original peppe came back to skynuke skaven and chaos then rearrange the stars into the form of a smiling toad cause he is a funny fuck and now I'm happy for your reply and for what you've said but from what I've heard the new Lizardmen are just creations like husks with no souls of the older lizardmen and that now they are just practically manifestations so the OG Lizardmen fans can still play them in Age of Sigmar but if they actually are back and when I say actually I mean that they are in body and soul both back then I'll be happy so please clarify that for me if you can. About what I've said tho I'm just pissed how the Skaven were so horrenderously buffed for the end times basically carrying the entire end times eventho they didn't deserve it and how the Lizardmen were just deleted before the final fight even took place like again imagine a scenario where all is lost a city is being overrun and like in this video families running away and those who cant just hold each other so atleast they die in each other's arms and then suddenly BLAM! the Lizardmen arrive not saying any word not even trying to communicate they are here to do 1 thing only TO KILL CHAOS! (fuck we can actually use that new Final fantasy quote here quite well huh :D ) them being badasses while you can practically hear at the back of your mind the "I AM THE FINAL DEFENDER! THE LAST HOPE FOR THIS GALAXY!" song cause it would be so badass or would have been. There is a reason why I abandoned Fantasy Warhammer after the end times and thats mainly cause most of my favorite characters either got nuked from Canon (Genevieve Dieudonné) got enslaved (Vlad) ambigiously being kept from returning (Franz) or brought back only so they can kill him off (Settrah) so yeah maybe thats just not for me I like the idea of having a Battleground where gods fight on the fields but I miss smaller characters who could stand their ground and be named memorable characters the couple of novels I picked up I suppose I didn't mind them Blacktalon and Throne of Bones or whatever the Neferata novel is being called but I still felt that I miss the smaller but still cool characters if you can suggest good novels I might read them but I dont even know how the setting works like in the Old world there was a world a map I know what is going on but in Age of Sigmar are there like realms? planes? whatever the fuck so the whole world just feels off for me somehow hard to imagine. And now of course we are getting a comeback to fantasy atleast they announced it but I dont buy into stories of the past not 30K and no past Fantasy because Fantasy is dead I dont want my badass hero I build up by playing tabletop games to win only so that his children or grandchildren would be fated to die anyway in about 50-100 years lator because of the end times hence I'm better at 40K now since its moving forward with the story and I preffer my characters fighting a hopeless war but still have a small chance for victory rather then a fight where we might enjoy the og world again but said characters be doomed to fail from the get go.
@@richardvondragonheart9769 As I've already said, actual lizards are back too, all fleshy and independant, even got a temple that lost their slann and so the saurus became the top of the hierarchy. The memory invocations also are present but they are just another subfaction, not the only option, and in lore they are a small portion of the population nowadays. And yeah, in general the End Times were unsatisfactory, I get that too. Don't worry skavens aren't as OP nowadays, in the way that everything else is quite powerful too. They'll still irritate everyone else and sabotge their plans tho, but not more than forces of Tzeentch. As for the power levels, I think you're maybe having a slightly skewed perception, because Neave as an example isn't stronger then Vlad or Settra. If you want more classical adventurers rather than leaders tho, I think I can point to a couple of them. -Spear of Shadows is a pretty good introduction to what adventures in this setting can be like, as you get characters from multiple factions tagging along to secure an ancient khornate weapon of great power. -The Gotrek books and audio dramas are pretty cool if you want to have pretty strong characters, but outside of noble quests and great battles. Gotrek is always his good old self, grumpy, angry, irritable, extremely skilled, resilient, with the addition that now he wants to kill gods like Nagash. Plus it got some self-derision since Gotrek is as lost as old Fantasy fans in this new reality. -I haven't read it yet, but the Cursed City novel is about a group of pretty classic adventurers (the knight soldier, the vampire hunter, the mage...) trying to solve a murder mystery as the hierarchy of the city slowly gets corrupted by vampiric forces. Also for how the universe looks like, it's like with 40k basically, some areas are defined, mapped (you should check the lore in the 3rd edition AoS core book, there's 7 maps for different realms in it) and illustrated a bunch, but you got a lot of it left for us players to use and transform to build our own narratives, factions, events... You should also maybe check all that's been done for Soulbound, the AoS ttrpg, they've got a lot of illustrations for Aqshy, realm of fire. Might help with understanding how varied a realm can be like depending on what place you're talking about.
At least the Lizardmen got to survive the End Times. Every other faction apart from Lizardmen, Chaos and Skaven was just obliterated entirely. RIP Bretonnia
Came across this in my recommended feed at random. Seeing the scale bois are my favorite faction in WH:F, it's quite a treat to see this sort of portrayal for them. And it really makes me want to see a Vermintide starting these four guys. If Darktide can pull off Ogryns in Valkyries, surely a playable Nakai in a jungle teeming with the forces of disorder and Chaos wouldn't be too much of a stretch.
Imagine how badass the animation it was when Chad Nakai make his stand defending the city Itza againts endless legion of Chaos legion just get massacre by him.. I wish we can see that kind of animation..
The setting, the music and the characters involved give me such a sense of peace and satisfaction. Years ago when Warhammer: End Times was finished my friends and I were deeply disappointed with how the entire setting was finished. Chaos wins and everyone dies. In such a bleak and hopeless setting it pleases me to see an uplifting story. This is obviously a human city ravaged by Chaos Warriors and who else shows up to clean up the mess? The big players of the Lizardmen. The sky is clear and a new sun rises over a sieged city. It makes me think of a version of Warhammer where the final battle of the epoch happens as we know it. These warriors of Archaon are looting a city in the heart of the Empire and the guardians of Lustria show up to save what's left of it as the chaos host is killed to the last man or pushed back into the wastes. The forces of order standing together, fates tied to one another, for a new age brighter than anything they have ever had. Little fan tales like this warm my heart. I miss Warhammer Fantasy so much for what it was. Thank you.
I mean the entire point of Warhammer is that it is tirelessly dark, they even changed the Tau in 40K because people complained "they weren't grimdark enough" (even though having the only hopeful Utopian faction be an infinitesimal portion of the Galaxy with no real hope of survival if the giants turn their gaze to them makes it even darker)... The end was always going to be "chaos wins, everyone dies" it has been building to that crescendo for decades, they held off because the fans liked the setting and it was making money (which is why they haven't done the same for 40K thankfully), the change was also a way to alter the rules and make it more accessible for new players. In the End Times Gor-Rok and Nakai were essentially surrounded by a mountain of dead Skaven by their hands. Which is pretty epic. But the world was already done, theoretically speaking, Chaos won the moment the Polar Gates collapsed and the Old One's fled. After that has been sacrifice after sacrifice of the worlds most knowledgeable and powerful heroes, Kroak, Caledor Dragontamer, Anerion, and later down the line Mazdamundi and Kroq-Gar himself, all of these people sacrificed their lives to stem the tide, they delayed defeat more than emerged victorious. The only way Chaos would ever have been beaten is if the forces of order had their greatest heroes alive and well, banded together earlier under a single banner, and worked towards that single goal. That didn't occur because Chaos itself turned them against one another (like Tzeentch and his role in the War of the Beard), or they turned on each other themselves (like the other princes turned on Malekith which caused the schism down the line). They were never going to win against a single unified and neverending force. Though I do think the End Times could have been written much, much better (like Manfred perhaps not sacrificing the entire world for his ego at that particular moment). There are small moments of hope, that are drowned out by a sea of darkness, which is pretty much the entirety of the Warhammer universe honestly.
@@AveSicarius I liked the End times I think it was a good wrap up to the Fantasy universe. That finale with Manfred though... Its like they ran out of ideas on how to screw the heroes in their last moments. Looks cheap and lazy. And the terrible subproduct that came out of it is even worse. AoS should have been killed on the crib. Now it walks... and its horryfing. Just let WHF rest in peace and lets joy in it universe as it was.
It contradicts so many things so badly that it's impossible to reconcile it with WHFB. I can only think of it as an alternate timeline where everything you knew was different and all the characters were stupid No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to accept it as "canon". What a worthless concept. Archaeon got stopped cold in Southern Kislev and killed. The End.
Its lore friendly as well, Lizardmen have a history of showing up to aid order friendly races without even saying a word to them like in the Citadel of Dusk battle. "A Lizardmen army from Itza marches south across the Culchan Plains. A bridge of magical energy is summoned and the army crosses to the island on which stands the Citadel of Dusk. The High Elves fear a siege, until a fleet of Dark Elf Corsairs attacks from the sea. It is only with the aid of the Lizardmen that the Corsairs are repulsed. The Lizardmen then march back north without a word to the High Elves"
This reminds me of my old lizardmen campain, where I literally ruled the world and created world peace. Basically, I first had a mission to make allaiance with every lizardmen fraction so, I quickly became present on every continent. I've destroyed a couple of fractions that everybody dislikes (Wampires, Dark elves, a couple of skavens, Beastmen etc.) and then, I've helped humans A LOT with destroying Chaos, and that's how most fractions started to like me, first were human kingdoms, next were high elves, tomb kings, dwarfs, wood elves -(though, with wood elves I basically just paid them to be fvcking chill because they were really annoying lol)- and I'm pretty sure that I've befriended even green skins. The only fractions that I've were at war, were Norska and some skaven fraction. Good times lol
Your old campaign, where you destroyed the beastmen? Ha, good one. But seriously, everyone knows you couldn’t destroy the old beastmen. They already killed themselves before you could even see them.
It bring such a glorious ray of sunshine to see this work, when most of everything is trained. This looked like it could be everything to so many people! Great job 👏
Can't fool me, that's obviously Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, and Black Widow. Clearly in Lizard costumes so we can't discern their identities! j/k Love this and your normal work too man!
This is excellent! I just wish we could have this kind of flavour and animation in the actual battles, things feel like they've gone backwards on that front since Shogun 2 pushed it forward
When the tide of Chaos blanketed the fandom and their overlords GW purged our beloved animations we thought hope was lost. But one man stood against the horrors of GW and fought back. TotalWarbattles is the beacon of light and Warhammer animation is not dead yet brothers
By any chance could you make a high elves animation next? The lizardmen are awesome, but everyone forgets about the efforts of the elves of ulthuan to keep the world safe.
When i first heard of the lizardmen i wasn't sure what to think of them at first i thought they were evil monsters like the beastmen and the skaven however once i learned more about them i learned to like them they truly deserve the title of heroes it's just a shame that they couldn't ally with the empire and dwarves that would be the ultimate warhammer hero alliance
Its because order factions or chaos factions actually getting together instead of just tolerating each other would be to strong, and if Chaos factions did it wed have just gotten the end times earlier. As long as the order factions dont go "wow shit, we all hate the same people who are trying to ruin everything, perhaps if we stopped bickering and coordinated instead shit would get better" GW gets to keep everything grimdark and keep the wars going because fuck fixing youre issues when you can risk the world ending because you cant get over your racial superiority. Same applies to 40k.
Was also a tad shocked but then again I just assumed lizardmen were the same size as the average human... also is it accurate that they would come to save humans? Kind of new to warhammer fantasy here
@@KuyaPinsan Eh. Big eh. For most purposes, Lizardmen aren't really "good", so much as they hate evil, if the distinction makes sense. The Lizardmen being here to fight Chaos is incredibly in character, and Nakai in particular is pretty well known for just kinda showing up where Chaos is, logic, logistics, and reason be damned. Gor-Rok being deployed for a presumably aggressive action for the Lizardmen, that isn't of incredibly vital importance is a bit unusual, as is Teheneuin being somewhere without Skaven. And Kroq-Gar is kinda the wildcard, there's pretty much any reason for him to be anywhere. As for actually coming for the express purpose of saving humans, MAYBE Kroq-Gar would, as he's one of the very few Saurus to have a conception of advanced subjects like "allies", but it would be for the express purpose of these humans later helping the fight against Chaos. Mazdamundi, while not present, would be much more likely to either ignore, or else actually attack the humans for some percieved violation of The Great Plan. Very low chance that he's here to help, and if he is, expect something about this community to be EXTREMELY important to his vision of The Plan. Gor-Rok and Nakai would just he here to fight Chaos, and would accidentally save humans in doing so. Teheneuin (can never remember his name's spelling), being a skink largely without oversight, might outright attack the humans to eat them, as Skinks are known to have a deep appreciation for the taste of human, and enjoy it greatly. Additionally, it's likely that there are Skaven near enough by to annoy Teheneuin that these humans aren't fighting them. He could probably be convinced to be more benevolent if the locals had been hunting Skaven, or something. Oxylotl not being present is pretty in-character, as he's pretty much always deep in Chaos territory or the immaterium. Kinda like Mazdamundi deciding to help warmbloods, if Oxylotl leaves, expect it to be a very important reason. And no idea about Tiqtaqto. I know very little about him.
Dude, total war lizards are the best looking lizardman race easy. Also, Indypride talked about a lizardman add-on to vermintide and this GORGEOUS animation is making me YEARN for that. Wonderful work my friend. Also, Tenhenauin giving Nakai some skin had me cheesin' big
TotalWarBattles! Wasn't the video really cool? Once again, thank you " Paul 1748 "! Why don't you take this energy and make a video called ' Avengers End Time-Lizard Sixth Monarch + Croak ' ? Haha! I think it's going to be a great!
Chaos knight: I am imbued with the power of chaos. The dark gods have blessed me by giving me greater strength and size and therefore I can better shed blood in their name. Hulking Croxogre: I don't care. Y'all belligerent toddlers to me.
Holy shit this is amazing! Kinda surprised Oxoytl and Tiktaq'to weren't in this, but this is still amazing! I really hope he makes more with these guys!
Plz plz plz, do an expansion, like a series. This how the lizard men/seraphon should act. Like real sentient beings working together. Maby hire some voice actors aswell? Idk. It's just cinamaticly epic.
Really amazing animation! Would love to see more of them. I had no idea Saurus like kroq gar were that big since chaos chosen are already much bigger than normal humans with some almost 7 feet tall in armor.
Thanks for sharing.

nice animation I love how it's about the lizardmen you don't see a lot of animations about them
It's a really amazing video. It still lingers in my memory.

Yeah, but most likely the Lizardmen would drive Chaos off just to kill those Bretonnians themselves.
@@leonardomarquesbellini the lizard men have a mostly non-interventionism stance, the only lizardmen who spawn outside lustria and the south of that other island are that chameleon skink and nakki , who both target chaos. And everyone was like, "Hell yeah!"

So long as you are not human, yeah.
what you don't see that does infact happen is after the battle the lizardmen eat all the humans to regain their energy and heal themselves after the battle....
I like lizardmen to just want to erradicate Chaos and not have a moral compass honestly...at least when it comes to Saurus warriors. Skinks having one I don't mind. They are the neutral faction, who just want to rebalance the energy. A bit like militaristic druids.

RIP Bretonnia

omg. that was one of the best video's that i've seen in awhile. thanks for this.
The biggest problem with warhammer is the fans are edgy 15 year olds that cant stand even a little bit of good.
It contradicts so many things so badly that it's impossible to reconcile it with WHFB. I can only think of it as an alternate timeline where everything you knew was different and all the characters were stupid
No one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to accept it as "canon". What a worthless concept. Archaeon got stopped cold in Southern Kislev and killed. The End.
@jumbo
It doesn't even make sense thematically. WF has NEVER been as dark as 40K
Where did you Get this?
The Avengers of Lustria
The physical contact of the animations was extremely well made!
Quick, cue the Avengers theme 😎
We came to serve the Old Ones and kick Chaos ass. And we're all out of Old Ones.
Welp, time to reinstall again and start another Lizardmen campaign.
I know why I _loved_ dinosaurs since earliest childhood 😄👍 (not to mention that Games Workshop and I are the same age... 😎).
02:14 - "C'mon, guys!"
When the party shows up to save the day in a besieged city 0:29
Now we need a full out story for this party of Lizardmen. You can't leave us hanging on such awesome characters.
I took over the whole world as lizard and killed everyone hehe.
@@jaapuitroepteke2750pathenic beastmen can't even beat toddbringer's faction
Aye boys watch this *dies on turn 30*
@@jaapuitroepteke2750 Actually that's a good point lmao
The way gor rok smashes the chosens head is simply perfect
*bonk*
Lizardmen:
Show up.
Roflstomp Chaos.
Zero explanation given.
Leave.
Sigmar Male Grindset.
It is very nice to think of the Lizard folk as good guys, amazing video!
It bring such a glorious ray of sunshine to see this work, when most of everything is trained. This looked like it could be everything to so many people! Great job 👏
these are just really 100% EXTREME, and then it's nice to see "cold-blooded monsters" being the heroes for once.
Amazing. Lizardmen are one of the best yet most underrated races in Warhammer lore. 10/10
Now if only the elves could be as hospitable. Truly epic either way, if only more videos could be this way. I hope to see more eventually.
La verdad primera vez que veo un vídeo de este estilo y la verdad me encanto, es uno de los mejores que he visto. Felicidades!
I don't care what dark god blessed you, you don't want to fight that line up at the same time.
Can't fool me, that's obviously Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, and Black Widow. Clearly in Lizard costumes so we can't discern their identities!
j/k Love this and your normal work too man!
They battles for the world is inspiring. They dont fear death by some chaos worshipers. Brofist is awesome.
I've been collecting these figurines since i was 15 years old... so awesome to see them come to life like this! :D
And now it's to bloody expensive lol
He didn't made this this was made by paul1748
God this makes me want more sync kills so badly, awesome animation!!
YES! more sync kills!
This was cool! I always had in my mind Lizardmen as heroes and it was basically this.
This is pretty freaking amazing! And it features four of my favorite lizards characters! The coolest four for sure!
It's a pity the Lizardmen don't go out of their way to help the warm-blooded races like humans and elves in the actual lore.
They do. They don't do it all the time cause humans and elves get scared and kill them.
Bet Oxyotl still did the most damage, he was there the whole time. I love that he is literally in every frame
Never realized just how big lizardmen are compared to humans o.o
Yeah, Skinks, "the little ones" are only a tiny bit smaller than the average human.
well the Average Souros Warrior are said in the fluff to be 2.5 meters or 8'2 ft tall
Was also a tad shocked but then again I just assumed lizardmen were the same size as the average human... also is it accurate that they would come to save humans? Kind of new to warhammer fantasy here
@@KuyaPinsan
Eh.
I think they made the saurus a bit too large
3:17 Clapping like a little kid behind a screen. Who's with me
Man do more battles like this, totally amazing.
Seeing the Lizardmen in action is nothing short of awesome. Really looking forward to this one 🦖🦎🏹⚔️🗡☠️
This Machinima is now considered a fan animation.
GW has now dispatched an Eversor Assassin.
Too true bro :(
Paul did some very good work! Thank you...
Skinks and kroxigors are great at making friends with eachother
Overall excellent WHFB video ❤ Animations and battle cheoreography are superb!
TotalWarBattles! Wasn't the video really cool? Once again, thank you " Paul 1748 "!
Why don't you take this energy and make a video called ' Avengers End Time-Lizard Sixth Monarch + Croak ' ?
Haha! I think it's going to be a great!
Oh! It wasn't End Time, it was Infinity War!

Lizard men are my favorite to play as in the game. Shame that only the big croc boys eat enemys for some reason
I love this so much I wish we had something like this for all order factions rising up and protecting eachother along with fighting together
Holly molly... this is a better like a first Avenger finale, NYC battle ;)
Love it ;)
Chaos knight: I am imbued with the power of chaos. The dark gods have blessed me by giving me greater strength and size and therefore I can better shed blood in their name.
Hulking Croxogre: I don't care. Y'all belligerent toddlers to me.
nice animations, i hope to see more =)

Excellent, Paul 1748.
Thank you for him and thank you fot TotalWarBattles to give us this short animated movie.

@@kvltofsobek90 Fair point. I hope we get to see him eventually though. (Hope this becomes a bigger story.)
Plz plz plz, do an expansion, like a series. This how the lizard men/seraphon should act. Like real sentient beings working together. Maby hire some voice actors aswell? Idk. It's just cinamaticly epic.
I swear to god they look like a D&D party and I love it
Really amazing animation! Would love to see more of them. I had no idea Saurus like kroq gar were that big since chaos chosen are already much bigger than normal humans with some almost 7 feet tall in armor.
