People act like Pogba was poor on the field. I tend to think he was both play out of position and surround by poor players. He only played 10 games In his United career In the same position he played at Juve. Those 10 games were Ole’s first 10 games. Go back and watch those and then look at the stats for those games.
He was flashy and took too many risks around our box, but when given freedom to play In a more attacking role, he was amazing one of the most enjoyable players to watch play.

Thank God, I’ve finally found a United fan with class and an actual working brain. Most of this wretched fan base hate him for you know…reasons and it’s the same thing with Martial. I hope there isn’t a common denominator but those fans must be watching a different game. True football fans like you and I will sit there and wonder, what if they both didn’t have as many injuries and off field drama as they did, what would they have been. But I guess our fanbase loves more of the blood and thunder, the agricultural side of the game.

    • @grocno796

@@akeemguy7331 He wasn't good enough in the 10 position. He simply didn't have the ability to work in tight spaces. Obviously he was a bigger number 10 than most. However, so was Zidane, but he had much better spatial awareness than Pogba. When Pogba played in the 10, his main threat was arriving late into the box, similar to what McTominay does nowadays (obviously I know Pogba is a better player than McTominay). As I always say, Pogba performed well in Seria A and at international level not necessarily because he played alongside better players, but because players have more time and space on the ball.

As an attacking midfielder, he would still return to cover the defence and still provide assists or killer passes. Guess who squandered them, the attackers. Let’s don’t rewrite history here, The only person to blame for Pogbas career is Paul Pogba. Constantly thought he was good enough without putting in the effort required. Walked around the pitch, was subbed whenever things went against him. Spent more time dancing with stormzy and playing basketball during his time at united. Constantly flirting with a team who never once made a bid for him….. even when he was a free agent Real Madrid wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Has he even played 90 minutes for Juventus since he returned? Pogba only has himself to blame for the joke he’s become. Let’s be honest….. who the hell thought this guy was on “performance enhancing drugs”???? Heroin maybe…. He played like a smack head for most of the last 8 years so I could see him failing a piss test for smack but that’s about all 🤷‍♂️

The issue of Paul Pogba and Mourinho reminds me of John Obi Mikel who exactly like Pogba has the same attributes of physicality, technical in-depth knowledge and the knack to go forward . Jose told Mikel to be more defensive in the midfield which affected his contributions to the Super Eagles of Nigeria , even though to Mourinho , it contributed to his success as Chelsea coach . To Mikel , he couldn't be versatile enough . Paul Pogba had to challenge that ideals by Mourinho and it payed off for him as it helped him in the french national team alot . quite unfortunate that this situation happened to him .

I've never questioned Sir Alex. He knew Pogba was trouble which is why he let him leave! Jose also knows players and he was also right about Pogba. Not sad at all at how it has ended for Pogba

Does your brother do the audio for your vids. Because he's worse than Pogba's bro if he does.

Not sure if it's intentionally omitted but Jose was still in charge of United when Pogba won the world cup the same Pogba who came back from the WC earlier than England players to help Jose's depleted United team at the start of the 18/19 season...also the rift is published Jose thought Pogba was using his phone inappropriately while in the stands watching united lose a cup game, something that was later revealed Pogba hadn't done

Joining Utd was his downfall. It is now a toxic club with lots of fan baiting. Look at how people are talking about Ten Hag and they full well know he has only half built a team but the all act like it is complete. Pogba is not the only player destroyed a hung out to dry at Utd.

You made it sound like Pogba didn't want to sign a contract extension at United and left on his terms for Juve, when in reality SAF saw the character issues this lad always had and decided he was not worth the trouble and together with David Gill made the decision to not offer him a big contract - and guess what, the greatest manager in British football history was right. Pogba pretty much ruined Jose's career at United.
