  • Wayne Rooney would build Manchester United's squad around Bruno Fernandes and the young players, in what would be a completely ruthless approach.

Onana and Mason Mount? They need more time; after all, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Rashford’s form, though, is as unpredictable as my Wi-Fi signal, maybe it’s time for a reboot. Rooney's strategy of balancing Bruno with emerging talents is spot on!

I'd cash in on the Rash if I were a Manc mate, it's not that he's crap but the relationship between him and the club has turned toxic to the point that neither side is behaving professionally anymore. Get him out while he's worth some cash, someone like PSG will give you 60-70 mil for him which as an academy player will seriously help with FFP, not to mention taking a huge salary out of that too. I'd also kick Sancho and Antony into touch and build around that lad that played against us on your right wing the match before the Toon game, he looks really promising and was your best player. Your board is going to have to eat some big losses before building a new team, we've all been there but it's hard to get the money men to grow a pair and make the hard choices. Until they do your situation will remain as it is, like ours was for a decade until 4 years ago.

United can also request for his loan deal to be extended for another year. Keep
    Gk : Onana , Heaton
Def : Martinez , Maguire , Kambwala, Shaw , Malacia , Dalot , You have Alvaro Fernandez on loan at Benfica so for lb next season if either of malacia or shaw is injured you can try out Fernandez there plus Dalot can play at lb so it wont be much of an issue.
Midfield : Bruno , Scott , Mainoo , Mount . We certainly need a new cdm fit and firing a young prospect or maybe in his prime depending on the market who is available .Depth for Mainoo and others as well we can look at the free market for sure to increase the squad depth .
Attack : Hojlund , Garnacho , Amad , Rashford , Sancho/Antony . Some people may have doubts over Rashford but he is still an important member of the team I would give him one last chance to prove his worth but a good offer for him can be accepted . We need a backup no 9 a bit different from Hojlund though just to add versatility in attack . Now my opinion for keeping Sancho is that Rashford and Garnacho can compete for the LW spot and Amad and Sancho for RW , given we need to spend for players in midfield and defence I think i would make sense to keep Sancho/ Antony for one more season but a suitable offer can still be taken for either of the two.

Bruno could be the one that holding the team back as well. Not that he is a bad player, but his style of play actually the opposite of ETH style of play. ETH currently just working on magic with what he has. The kind of players that Erik want/need to build around is the like of De Ligt, Frenkie De Jong & Kvaratskhelia. At this point i rather play Sancho(if he really want to play for us) or replace him with Napoli’s Kvaratskhelia, rather than Ganarcho. Ganarcho rarely connect with our striker & always try to score by himself. He sucking on player like Vini Jr from Real Madrid clearly show he will just use Man Utd as stepping stone. Too bad, he may not have what it takes to be like his idol, Cristiano.

It feels incredible that the man United ex-player pundits like Neville and now Rooney are finally backing the manager and calling out the players. They have been the problem for years and it doesn't matter when people say, "yeah but 8/11 of these players didn't play for Mourinho and Ole". Its not about that! Its about the fact that some of these players were in the dressing room, downing tools and being in the club for so long have made them an influential player who can convince the new players to down tools too!
It's called a mob mentality! Thankfully we have players like Mainoo, Amrabat and Bruno who aren't that sort and always try. But you can't say the same about Casemiro or Rashford.

You can't build a team around Bruno. You can have Bruno in the side but his age means any final phase to a rebuild will see him well into his 30s and past his prime. By all means keep him and build around him but be damned sure he has an understudy that can step up once he can't no more.

Players like Rashford with bad mentality and injury prone players like Shaw, have to go as fast as possible. Also, the training staff. There aren't many top tier teams with the same level of injury problems that united have, that can't just be all down to players, there's got to be some mismanagement happening with fitness and diet plans or something.

Mount i want to see more off next season to actually decide if hes cut out long term he is still on younger side. Martinez i hope his injury issues this season are behind him and if so then he is another i keep otherwise i would look to offload him say in 2025 if hes still being injured alot and i think thats why Rooney has them on his "sell" list. its because based on this season a few of those have been out injured too much.

I’d legit keep Onana, Hojlund, Garnacho, Mainoo, Martinez, and the rest of the younger players ( Amad, Kambwala, Wheatley, Forson) again you can argue Bruno, Dalot , Mount etc. but get rid of the rest of them seriously. We have had to many passengers at this club for to long. We need a COMPLETE rebuild of this squad and I understand we can’t get rid of everyone in 1 window but I think every United fan can agree that we need to get rid of the vast majority of this squad. If that means Shaw, AWB, Rashford, Eriksen, Casemiro etc need to go then so be it I’m all for it. Look at what Pep did his 1st season, he said I need players who can actually play and he got rid of those players and the club got him what he wanted. INEOS should be wanting to do the same thing for Ten Hag or whoever is going to be the manager in the future. We need to start scouting and buying the right players who actually want to play for this club and want to achieve things here. Like I said we have got to many passengers at this club. Time to be ruthless and cutthroat 😤

I think you can't judge Mount on an injury plagued season, especially when you hired our old doctor who we used to refer to as: "Doctor Death", ☠ should be the first person you should ship out. If I were a Manc I'd probably want to keep Amrabat for a season more but not if that means a big transfer and a big 3-4 year contract, for that I'd look elsewhere for someone better to build the midfield around for the long slog back to the top. I think the Rash is a good player but he needs to be outed now because the relationship between both him and the club has turned toxic and you're all just holding each other back at this point, could he come good? Maybe, but as often as not these things don't resolve themselves so better to cash in while he still has value because another season like this and he'll be worth less than a bag of chips.
