He had playing time on a STACKED Miami team. That alone tells you he was a better football player than 99% of people. None of us in this comment section can say we were better than him even if he got cut from a CFL team.

I have always been a fan of The Rock. Good friend, dad and son. I really could not stomach Sapp trying to tarnish this man's image. The bottom line is this, our past has an impact on shaping our future. You can see in the past that he played with conviction and tenacity. Even though he did not become a superstar in football he still became a SUPERSTAR in: wrestling, movies, comedy, business, humanitarianism, philanthropy and mentorship. Hell those items alone far outweigh the careers of some 10-15 year NFL hall of fame SUPERSTARS. It ain't about where you from it's about where you at. Right now The Rock is on his way to becoming a Billionaire. Billionaire status will eventually lead to the presidency and team ownership. This man can write his own future. How many former NFL players can say any of that? Anybody? Anybody from Miami or Tampa bay? Anybody?

He looks to be very strong in these highlights, but not a lot of bend, and at 260 a bit skinny for a 3/4 end.

Everybody stop hating on the Rock he got recruited by the U at a time when the U had so many great players on defense and offense to be exact but also remember he was a kid from Pennsylvania that got recruited by the U and the U always recruited Florida so if you got recruited by the U and you were especially a Northeast kid then you had to be pretty good and the fact that he even got playing time at all as a sophomore has to tell you that he had to have talent otherwise he would never see the field especially in those days when Miami was so great just look at the defensive players that were on the team when The Rock played there and you will see how much talent came through the University of Miami while The Rock was there on defense alone it was crazy

DJ said he play with the all the greatest of all time from Qbs, Rbs, defense, kickers that when he went to wwe he knew what he was missing but football wouldn't be the same for dwayne johnson. Wwf need The Rock. And that came from the Prima Bull himself. If there was one thing DJ could do that anyone in wrestling who played football couldn't that was switch up. If NFL would've called rock and the money was right he said he would've got up, pit on pads and it would've been boots to asses but because there was so much electricity just to walk in the arena with the millions that surpassed all the tackles that he would've done on the gridiron. Think of all the movies Rock has been in about football. That was really him no stunt double.
