Burt Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson never played in the NFL, but Dwayne did briefly play in the CFL.

Ashley Perry r/woooosh
Ashley Perry r/megawooosh
this is about people you dont know were in the nfl
You forgot to mention that Dwayne Johnson played briefly in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders.
Yeah a lot of people forget the CFL exists.
yeah as a CFL fan i was like bro thats one of the most important pieces in his life playing in the CFL and only having 7 bucks in your bank account.
Title says "NFL" CFL is a cupcake league
@@dachampion31 at least it’s part of his career when he figured out what life was really like with hard work
@@dachampion31 its literally around d1 skill with bigger players. I guarantee you've barely watched any CFL. Rules are way better, just without the awesome billion dollar franchises
This guy just wanted people to know that he watched The Longest Yard
Both of them
Facts 😂
Brock Lesnar played on the Vikings
carter uno so did Roman reigns
Ik he did
Ik he did
@@2-k-wmaverick690 did you wanna switch accounts?

Grant Siefer ruclips.net/video/M3l3txzONZs/видео.html
Jim "Hit me one more time" Brown
The Juice
Grant Siefer 😂😂 He forgot about the Juice! Aka OJ 😂😂
Merlin Olsen (little house on the prairie) LA Rams, 14 time in a row pro bowler, quarter of fearsome foursome, Legend
Basically play for the rams and retire boom instant celeb

Drafted Goldberg then Terry Crews in back to back years 😭😂
Ed O’Neil was signed to the steelers but was cut during training camp.
Chuck Noll told him he could hook him up with the Eagles he declined.
Many of these celebrities never played in the NFL and you left out many who had: Alex Karras (Blazing Saddles), Jim Brown (Dirty Dozen), OJ Simpson (Naked Gun), Bubba Smith (Police Academy), Fred Dryer (Hunter), Carl Weathers (Rocky), Michael Strahan and several others who were celebrities outside sports.
Great list.
Vader and lex Luger as well
Alex Karras, who was in the show Webster in the 80s, was a great player with the Lions in the 60s & 70s! Fred Dryer, also played in the 70s with the Rams & Giants.
Merlin Olsen was in Little House on the Prairie, Father Murphy, and announced NFL games. Played 14 Years in the NFL for the LA Rams. Inducted into both the College and Pro Football Halls of Fame.
They were actually really good players too.
@@stephenh5944 SPOT-ON!!!!! Also enjoyed time as an NFL analyst on NBC (usually paired w/Dick Enberg).
Fred Dryer ("Hunter") was also a Pro Bowl player w/the LA Rams (was teamm8s w/the Youngblood Brothers; Jack & Jim).
Carl Weathers too. This video barely scrapes the surface.
Rock also played for calgary stampeders in cfl
Is everyone that was on this list in the movie the longest yard
Gav11n ruclips.net/video/M3l3txzONZs/видео.html
Ik😂
Brock lesner *

NAH

Don't forget Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed in Rocky & some other parts in movies like Happy Gilmore) ... 2 seasons with the Raiders and a few in the CFL.
He's also in the mandelorian
Action Jackson💪🏾
less than half of them played in the NFL
No joke.
What the fuck are you talking about
@@ericasimmons8116 The Rock, Stone Cold, Bert Reynolds, nor Nate Robinson actually played in the NFL

You forgot Carl Weathers brah.
Damn forgot him too - Raiders 1971-72 I think
He leftout many people. Merlin Olson, Jim Brown, Rosie Grier ,Fred Williamson, and Fred Dyer
2 member of the Rams Fearsome Foursome defense of the 70's, Fred Dryer and Merlin Olsen had pretty big tv careers. Fred was the star of Hunter tv series and Merlin was in Father Murphy.
Olsen was in Little House on the Prairie too, and did NFL games for NBC.
Wouldn’t get clicks so he doesn’t care
So basically the longest yard cast
the rock played in the cfl btw
Yep. He played for the Calgary Stampeders for a couple of games and got cut. He made the CFL as a Canadian National because his father Rocky was born in Nova Scotia.
He also played in Moana
@@traviselkins260 that is true
Seems to name more guys that almost went to the NFL. You missed guys like Merlin Olsen, Carl Weathers, Ed Marinaro.
Brock lesnar was also in the nfl shoulda made this list
Could've took Steve Austin's place lol.
Mark Harmon was a great quarterback for UCLA.
The rock played for the Calgary stampeders in the cfl
Bubba Smith is my favorite nfl player to hit stardom in a different outlet. Hightower from the Police Academy movies has always been a favorite of us 80’s kids.
I saw this and immediately clicked on it but then I realized that nfl players are celebrities
I don't think he counts as a celebrity, but I'm old enough to remember Jack Kemp, a former politician that ran for VP of United States when Bob Dole was the Republican candidate in '96. I'm young to know (late 30s) his career in the NFL, but I just remember that fact.
bill goldberg played as coach mellors brother in the show “The Goldbergs”
Typical jew
Lmfao was everyone in this vid in the longest yard 😂💀
You know it's a legit Steve Austin quote when it starts with "I tell you what"
This is soooooo good
I learned a lot!
Suge Knight played in the NFL!
He did? I never knew that
@@powerhouse8338 naw he only played college
@@MTownBaby he played 2 games for guess who the rams in 87. Rams gonna go into the hof by having signed the most celebs after the nfl.

Everybody he stated played in the nfl
@@greatvaluechip1557 did you even watch the video? The Rock, Stone Cold, Burt Reynolds, nor Nate Robinson actually played in the NFL. So literally 4 of the 6 celebrities on the list DID NOT play in the NFL
Steve Austin was in longest yard too
That instrumental is fresh
Merlin Olson, Fred Dryer, Tim Roosovich. Lyle Alzado, Terry Bradshaw, OJ to name but a few.
"Hello Twitter world!" 😂😂😂
Goldberg: "I was smaller"
Me: 😮
Goldberg is a Jew
"The Hammer" Fred Williamson
Nice
You forgot Ed O'Niell, You know "AL Bundy" He played for Ohio and went on to sign with the Steelers but was cut during camp. But that's still one camp more in the NFL than the Rock !
Al Bundy scores 4 tds in a game for Polk HS
Damn I never knew that
Friday after “the” next!!! 😂
Baron Corbin played for the Colts and signed a contract with the Cardinals
Baron corbin is a asshole
I recall that the Rock did a short stint up in the CFL with Calgary.
Rock also played a bit on the calgary stampeders in the cfl
Man, seeing linemen at college is frightening. As a 6'2'' dude, those guys would rip me a new one.
Damnnn Warren Sapp cold 😂
"Friday after THE next" huh??🤣🤣🤣 dope content tho
Longest yard is a great movie!!
Former Fresno mayor Alan Autry was a Green Bay Packer.
If you do a College Football version of this video, in Mark Harmon’s first game as starting Quarterback for UCLA in 1972, they beat 2-time defending National Champion NEBRASKA!
From my time in the army I need both hands to count how many times I've heard someone say they would of went pro if not for a injury.
Brian Bosworth, Bo Jackson, Jim Brown, Oj
Lamar Jackson is another Celebrity that plays in the NFL
DeWayne was a member of the Bermuda triangle defence with the Miami Hurricanes the Hurricane defence players called themselves the Bermuda triangle one of if not the best defence team we ever had. Also Burt Reynolds played his highschool football in West Palm beach FL for the twin lakes high rams that school was relocated north west of its original location and was changed to Palm beach lakes high. The original location of then twin lakes highschool is the location of the Kravise center for performing arts in West Palm beach FL. As a palm beach county native Burt Reynolds was my favorite actor. Burt used several Palm beach county Florida locations in his movies including in the longest yard where in that movie he is from Palm beach county.
Suge knight played for the rams in 1987
I could have made it to the NFL. I HAD IT ALL coming out of high school. Speed, strength, work ethic...the only thing I was missing was size. I was only 5'7" and 165 lbs. That and one other thing...talent. lol
I heard the famous podcasters Jason and Travis Kelce played in the nfl too
Like all the people were in the longest field that’s one of my favorite movie
Brock Lesnar was also in the NFL
Good video 🏈 football
A lot of actors that couldn't make it to the NFL ended up playing in some movie about football. The Rock also did that Gridiron movie.
Goldberg even was on that movie and also terry cruise
What's the beat playing during the Goldberg segment?
The Rock Dwayne Johnson was so good that the NFL told him "we're not worthy for your presence, so we're going to have to cut you"
i hear that sheff g floes instrumental ental you ain’t slick
Ok good vid ok I love it u now can be happy
Spice Adam's played in the nfl he played for the bears and Lavar ball played for the jets
Alan Autry (bubba) from in the heat of the night played for greenbay
“friday after the next”
“lost angeles”
Fred Dryer !!!
Pictures of Johnson when he was on the Stampeders practice roster.
Idk what position to play in football because im fast at running so should i be a wide receiver or a running back
Early
That cannot be a real Terry crews card with the 87 Topps baseball border lol
Why every celebrity play D line
cuz most of them arent that good
Oh yeah, Carl Weathers.
Ed Marinaro, Look it up.
Hill Street Blues
Ray Lewis was on that miami team too they were undefeted champions
You guys forgot about Brock Lesnar
First 4 all played in The Longest Yard😂
Probably because they wanted former players
I apologize if I’m repeating one, didn’t take time to read all comments. Fred “the hammer” Williamson played in the first superbowl. Let’s also remember Bubba Smith.
You missed Brock Lesnar...
Brian Bosworth also played in the NFL and played in The Longest Yard
I wouldn't call him an actor
Dwayne did play professional football for the Calgary stampede of the CFL
Brian Bozworth and Howie Long both made it into hollywood
Jeezus H! It’s a Goldberg video.
Gerald Ford played when the Rams began in L.A. (1944)
Carl Weathers,A.K.A(Apollo Creed)from the Rocky films, played for the Raiders for 2 seasons.
It's funny that I found this video today. Nate got his ass kicked by a RUclipsr last night. lol
