Hey, put that ball away Mike! For some reason, Mike got into a bad habit as an Oiler of palming the ball like a loaf of bread. He never did that at Nebraska. So it was kind of strange. I wish someone had the footage of Mike leaping over the entire offensive and defensive lines who were pretty much all standing straight up. He landed about 5-6 yards in the endzone. I think it was the1988 season. I have never seen any running back leap higher or further than Mike did on that play from about 2 or 3 yards out.
