Dan Conley's kick return is forever one of the greatest plays of all time. The definition of not giving up. Full effort. Anyone can make something happen and he did. Legendary.
One highlight that will never get old.
Facts!
Definition of the Patriot Way
I just now realized, one or two of the kickoff team ran into each other instead of a patriot 😬
I think that that is also exactly true of Larry Allen's takedown. You can see he is absolutely exhausted immediately after that play with him getting up. He pushed himself beyond his limit with his incredible athleticism and spirit
can we appreciate the guy who did a somersault and blocked a guy into the ground
The man looked like a droideka lol
Get styled on
That was the 2nd best play the first was the dolphins one at the start
Yes
That was some backyard football shenanigans. Love it.
I still think that Larry Allen’s is the most under-appreciated speed play in NFL history. It’s like the DK play made by a lineman. Sure, DK’s covered the entire field, but for a man over 300 lbs. to make that happen is nothing short of amazing. Absolutely incredible.
Dude was an absolute unit, he would toss pash rushers around like they were a sack of potatoes on his pulls. One of the best linemen to ever play the game.
i looked it up and he ran a 4.85, that's insane for 330 standing at 6'3
I've shocked too.
Dude had some legit speed too for his size
I know I used to see him twice a season playing the Eagles. He was the only lineman that could match up against Reggie.
I’d love to see a series of “Linemen helping runners” where they push a runner forward for a 1st down or Touchdown. I absolutely LOVE that!
It’s a team sport, after all lol
@@littlebilly8747 Indeed! But the RBs always get the attention even when they get a decisive nudge.
@Compuxion that’s why you pick the best ones duh lol
When I was a RB in HS and college that was the worst part of being a ball carrier. You knew on goal line and short yardage plays at least one of your linemen were going to ram you in the back and pushed for more yardage. Sometimes it was more than one.
Not enjoyable but it did the job in helping move the pile.
@@fredricksmith-something.2125 Luckily my team ran the wishbone almost exclusively and as the strong side halfback, I did more blocking and pass-catching. I have shoved a few receivers forward for a few yards tho. LoL I can just imagine the misery of having one of these huge lineman blowing into you.
The way both announcers said "Larry Allen!?!" at the same time in complete genuine surprise was great.
Yes best thing ever
😂😂
When JJ Watt got flattened, you could see the smile on his face as he got up like "good hit, you got me." Great sportsmanship from one of the NFL's great sportsmen.
You have 0 clue if that was a smile or what.
@@Austin66411 I've seen that clip before, and what Fox D said is exactly right. JJ himself even said as much in said clip.
I'm (clearly) a Packers fan, and I'm still furious that Connolly didn't get that TD.
I was at that game (as a Packers fan) and said the same thing. LoL
Being as the pats got the TD anyways having Connely score that would have been much preferred LOL
Packers for life man
Yeah? As a Fins fan, I'm mad Robert Hunt's attempt wasn't eligible... yes, he shouldn't have had the ball in the first place, since he caught the pass intended for Gaskin, but still... amazing run regardless. But Connolly shoulda had that touchdown. Seems the NFL Commission doesn't like fun. lol
@@MLPIceberg I know it's a rule, but I don't get it lol, if he caught it, it should be a catch.
Lineman are the most under appreciated position i swear. those pulls and pass blocks require speed and strength. To manipulate their body to work like that is incredible considering their size.
I know it. I love it when offensive linemen make big plays, they finally get the spotlight they deserve
us big uglies always knew we'd never get the attention but hey man. it's a team sport
Dan Connolly's kickoff return always makes me laugh. It's nice to see the big guys have some fun too.
I’m glad this wasn’t *just* Dan Connelly or *just* lineman touchdowns, but also just great blocking plays by linemen
4:00 I like that Lance gives the ball to the Lineman to spike after scoring the TD
0:16 That "OH YEAH!" was just like the Kool-Aid man busting through a wall!
Shoutout to all the lineman everywhere 💪
Thank you
make them wide receivers
That was absolutely awesome compilation. I love the clips with a lineman pancaking not one, but two defenders on the same play. Brings back memories.
2:28 This is one of the best plays I’ve ever seen😂😂😂
i mean he pushed him towards the runner who punched the ball eventually, but well executed
he is ninja
Larry Allen was a freaking monster. That play at 1:04 shows it. 325 and he's chasing down a speedy linebacker? Shit. If he walked in my home, I'M the guest
3:52 Lance lets the lineman spike the ball. The rookie knows who got him there.
I knew that Larry Allen play would make the cut.
1:55 Man killed 2 defenders in less than a minute lol
What a great video, lineman seem under appreciated but holy cow the effort they put in is incredible!
I play football I'm an offensive tackle and nose guard starting both and this video sent chills down my spine because of the amount of work these men put in and this should be a reminder that anything is possible
I like seeing the big guys carrying the ball properly, even when they get it so rarely. Whether it's with two hands in front preparing to get hit or starting with that and then swapping it to one side for more speed when you turn the corner. The Connolly run is a perfect example.
I really appreciate you showing and pointing out the linemen just blocking people into the dirt and doing their job. As a former o and d lineman, it is underrated how little acknowledgement is given to the linemen just doing their job, and are only seen when the once in a blue moon play happens whee they are the star
I love seeing these guys get credit. they work so hard and are incredibly talented
Thanks for giving linemen some attention.
Even a video just showing good blocking would be cool. These are essential players and always overlooked.
You just gotta love seeing stuff like this. A big play can happen out of nowhere.
As a former center when I played in school this brings me joy.
This brings me so much joy
What an AWESOME Video!
Love seeing the BIG FELLAS
get some Glory!
I already know this gon be fire 🔥
I mean, every guy on these fields is a better athlete than 99% of us
This video brought me joy
This was a highly enjoyable video. Thank you.
I loved this video, thank you.
I could watch these all day!
O-linemen are so underrated
Lineman that's right 👍👍👍👍 bout time they got highlights for them 👍👍👍 🏈🏈🏈
Linemen are so underappreciated, especially O linemen. I think people forget how freaking athletic these guys are. Most of these 300+ pound guys could beat most people in a 50 yard dash.
facts, some of these lineman can run a sub 5 second 40 yard dash at 300 plus pounds, I can't even run that fast at 180 lbs
@@Netsfan24Larry Allen chasedown tackle to prevent pick 6 is proof of that
5:55 underrated TD celebration, hit ‘em with the Street Fighter Dhalsim victory dance lol
Very exciting moments.
Man I love it when the O-line get to have fun. Those large dudes are athletes too!💪🏾💪🏾
Love when the Big Bous make a big play
Being a football fan is loving when offensive and defensive linemen do stuff like this.
Love seeing the big fellas getting work.
you should totally make more of these offensive linemen plays!
i like how bwagz gets up so fast he almost was still in the play after being blocked so hard it was worthy of the highlight video. Its stuff like that that doesn't even add to his hof resume but reminds people how goats play.
I love seeing these big boys running at full speed down the field to block.
I'm glad you included that Miami one, even though it didn't count. Even illegal, that touchdown was for the ages!
being a bengals fan, ive realized how important the offensive line is.
I didn't know you guys had an O Line
@@theoriginalshew lmao
I don't care about their 'illegal touching' rule... that pass catch and sadly disallowed TD by Robert Hunt (the first clip) had better be a SportsCenter Top 10 forever. Best effort all year.
The best play that never was
I feel happy for the linemen when they get to run the ball the return made me happiest
I wonder how come these big man fumble a lot and how are they possible to tackle anddd why don’t they give it to then evry play besides they fumble?
I get chills every time I see Larry Allen preventing the pick 6
finally. some lineman appreciation
As a former OG I appreciate these clips so much.
You love to see it because it’s always hilarious. XD
The second clip was awesome!
Dan Connelly will be#1 but my boy Robert Hunt almost had his moment last night
You know, there are sometimes where everyone should just come together, and say "To hell with that rule, this play was awesome" and let it stand.
Touch down..William Perry at super Bowl....top line man offense
I love how when linemen get the ball, they carry it like they're running through the streets of Compton with a box full of gold.
This video is hilarious and amazing at the same time..Dallas and NE have some serious linemen also big ups to the mofos that gotta go toe to toe with them dudes
Not a huge patriots fan, but a huge CU buffs fan….love Nate soldier…watching him score a TD is badass!
A lot of the offensive line spend their careers out of the spotlight. So when they get a big play like this and get eyes on them, they always seems so down to earth and humble about it
I was thinking about Larry Allen's play and I wasn't surprised when I saw it in the video, that sprint is out of this world.
as a lineman i love seeing the big guys get the ball. its really our dream to get a td. wish we could get the ball more often
You linemen really don't get enough credit. I'm not very knowledgeable in football, so I'm not entirely sure what it is you do, but I do know that you guys need more recognition.
I love these big guy plays
This make me appreciate linemen much more then I did
It’s always fun watching a big guy make a big play, because they don’t score TDs all that often(Taylor Decker, Lions LT, has 2 of them), but watching them block a smaller guy into oblivion is great too. It’s like watching someone get hit by a train, but without the destruction.
Happy every time I see you upload bro you gonna be on top one day 🙏 just remember me 😂
I LOVE IT
It's great to see the Big Men get their chance to be highlight reel stars!
Can we appreciate someone took time to show off what the linemen actually do and how much work they put in
Props to these linemen for being able to do these things
Honestly my favorite plays to see. You can see skill position shit all day, everyday.
@3:57 good on the QB for sharing the love. Big block
I love it when they get the ball in their hands and have 0 hesitation just start hauling
That first one is just BEAUTIFUL
Haha the lineman touchdown celebration is the best!
Comm'on man...YA KNOW WE LIKE THEM BIG BOY PLAYS THE BEST!!! 💯💯💯💯💯
That video makes Donald Penn and Tyron Smith the O-line goats ahahahaha.
Love this ......... as a former left Guard, we often never got the appreciation for the blocks to spring backs and receivers. Catching the ball? hmmmm perhaps not
#77 said no with that roll
he just paid too
go browns
0:25 He sends him backwards 6 yards!!🤣🤣🤣
2:40 man really did a tactical role and flattened a man 💀
When I was playing o-line one of the RBs that I played with always loved when we called screens with the linemen running in the open field. He said “there’s nothing better than following the big men for a big play.”
What position did you play on the Offensive line? :)
I played Center in flag football 🏈 in high school in physical education class.
That is how much respect he had for the offensive linemen. They make his job a hell of a lot easier.👍
Trubisky to Sowell in that 2018 Rams Bears game was just epic. My whole apartment could probably hear me yelling.
Linemen out of position just makes me feel happy that they can do anything 💪
Larry Allen's tackle is still the most impressive feat by a lineman EVER...and I'm a Saints fan.
Football is such a great game.
I love when linemen lay out those arrogant db's lol
Dan Conley is the sweetest guy in the world and I love seeing that return he has a heart of gold
love a good big guy play
4:01
"who came all the way down the line to get a piece"
That's more than a piece mate
You should put this on America’s funniest home videos. This stuff is hilarious
That was fun!
When linemen get to block in the secondary it is always great. Bodies flying, guys scurrying out of the way..
THE BEST OF THE BEST
BIG GUYS CATEGORY
As a big man, thank you.
Rumblin bumblin tumblin love it when big men get in the spotlight like that
I knew this was coming
You notice how, after the first one or two defenders get trucked trying to tackle one of these behemoths, they quickly switch tactics by all swarming him together and trying to knock the ball out.
