23 Accord Touring in radiant red with lighter interior here. IMO, at least with the Touring trim. The interior is approaching Acura territory. The build quality is really that good and solid as you said. You also look more comfortable in the Accord as well in the video. Accord is not perfect but overall a great car! I really like mine!
Every Honda I have been in has felt very solid, no matter what you touch. I love the accord but I trust Toyota’s 5th gen hybrid more. Also, when you need it, a spare tire is very useful.
I rented a new Camry for a week…I could not disagree more with this review. Did you get a bum car? No rattles, solid build, great driving. I received 50mpg. I’m an accord owner so I will be checking that one out too, but a lot of this review does not mesh with what I experienced.
Just test drove both back to back yesterday. The Camry is quick, handles well (quite a surprise), has a spare tire, looks cool from the front, and has AC vent/USB for back seat passengers, but more engine and wind noise. And yes, it can feel cheap, especially in the back seat. The Accord on the other hand, feels more refined, but definitely also bulky and a bit too big for my taste. It is quieter, and the hybrid system works more smoothly as well. The interior definitely has more of a luxury feel with probably better build quality. However, there's no backseat AC vent or USB port or spare tire. Accord also is more expensive for comparable trim. One note about seating position: I'm 5'7" and much prefer the visibility of a Camry. I can see how things are different if you are taller, but that's just not me. The point is that it heavily depends on what's more important to you. I myself remain undecided.
I have now driven both and am definitely going with the Accord. The Accord has the rear vents and USB on the two highest trims. It also has Active Noise Canceling in the cabin for the Touring trim, as well as some stuff like an awesome HUD, driver assist features that actually function well compared to the Camry’s LKAS specifically, and the entire interior is objectively nicer. There’s also the other concerns of Toyota actively and openly selling all of your driving and interactive data, even after initially denying it.
I haven't tested either, so I don't know explicit details. But here are some suspicions (and yes, I am a Honda guy). I can't believe there is no _ventilation_ in the back seat of the Accord. There may be no adjustable vent, but did you look under the seats to see the ventilation ports? Maybe I need to "test drive without intent to buy." The spare tire is missing in the Accord because, in a collision, it becomes a missile aimed at the HV battery. That's why it is there in the 1.5T trims, but not the hybrids. It has nothing to do with weight or price. Honda cares more about safety, even in rare cases, than the negative press. But if you want one, it is east to add non-OEM. When trying to compare trims, I find that Honda publishes easy-to-read tables listing individual features down the left side, with check marks in the columns for the trims that include them. Or maybe a more complete description for a feature that varies by trim (like "17 inch aluminum" or "19 inch alloy" wheels). Toyota lists categories on the left, that you may have to expand individually to see what is included. For example, the "suspension" for the XLE says "Independent MacPherson strut front suspension with stabilizer bar; multi-link rear suspension with stabilizer bar, [*] and front strut tower bracing." I added the "[*]" to mark the spot where the XSE's description adds "sport-tuned shock absorbers and springs." Honda would list these four segments individually. My point here is that Toyota seems to want to make it hard to tell the differences between these feature sets - I had to mentally "pencil out" what was common between them to find the difference. And this happens a lot. And finally, the columns for Toyota's trims often have a symbol that means"available." The feature can be _added_ to the trim, with a significant _added_ price that in not included in the price you may have compared to Honda's "comparable trim." The word "available" does not appear anywhere in Honda's table - the price at the top of the column is the price for that trim, with _all_ the features implied by that trim. For example, Honda's $34,875 "SPORT-L" trim includes a moonroof. Toyota's "comparable" $34,600 XSE trim (whether you agree this is the comparable trim is not my point here) does not - I don't think any do, but I can only compare three Toyota models at a time and I'm not going to dig deeper. It is included in a "package," and the table does not include the price for that package. Going to the "build my car" page, I see that it costs $1,330 more. And while most people will buy the moonroof, the figures they advertise for headroom do not include (it is in the table). My experience, when I last shopped in 2018, was that I soon grew frustrated with the way Toyota hides the true price, so I could not compare prices easily. Going to the dealer didn't help, since I had to look at each car on the lot to see what it did, and did not, have. Their selection did not include the full array - usually including more packages than I wanted, and making the questionably "comparable" Toyota trim more expensive.
It’s not bribery, generally I believe, journalists are worried to upset Toyota. They are a big brand with two companies. There are brands that can get upset very easily and not give you cars
Most buyers in this class seek a car that balances durability, comfort, and fuel efficiency, with durability being the top priority. A 1.5-liter turbo engine cannot compare to a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, which has proven reliable from the previous generation. Serious drivers, like taxi or Uber drivers, would choose the Camry, while more easy-going drivers over 40 yrs might prefer the Accord. The Camry is sure to outsell the Accord.
This seems like a classic example of a conclusion drawn, and the reasons supplied when and if they support that conclusion. The 1.5L turbo is only in the lower trims; the higher ones have a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine with a hybrid system. If you look at unbiased reliability ratings like KBB and JDPower, the Accord has proven to be more reliable. Taxis choose the Camry for the sole reason that Toyota supports fleet sales, while Honda does not. Uber drivers prefer more spacious - especially in the back seat - Accord.
can't take a guy who calls taxis and ubers serious drivers serious 🤣. btw, fleet sales don't count as car buyer sales which means accord is the best seller!
@@azuproduces the Accord's greenhouse and body panels have always been all-new with each generation. The Camry is reusing panels from the A to C-pillar and reusing the greenhouse from the previous generation.
If it isn't broken, don't fix it. For the most part, it's really the same car. You enjoy the reliability, and you get the new 5th gen hybrid system with a much needed updated interior. I don't think it should be a knock because it's mostly the same car.
I have the XSE on May. I have zero issues. The way this review is done looks like its a honda advertisement. I had Camry SE 2020 and current generation has better build quality. The new hybrid system with the CVT is flawless. Honda's tail light is very ugly and cheap. Front grill also looked very old style, looks like car from 98-99. I know some colors of XSE's ftont gtill's bottom color is too much but pearl, black and underground colors looks perfect and way more better than honda in my opinion. No panoramic roof, no 360 camera and hybrid reliability issue put honda behind of Camry.
so, the build quality, and this is coming from someone who works at toyota building the camry, is due to the fact that we are building almost 2,000 a day so we dont get much time to put the parts on while honda might have more time to assemble a vehicle compared to the camry, plus it all depends on if you have a pre production model, those ones were not up to full standards, i own one myself and i love it and have zero issues with it, but thats also coming from a chrysler 200 that was 12 years old, but no, we dont get a lot of time to assemble the cars, they dont give us more than maybe 45 seconds to install 5 or 6 parts before we gotta move onto the next car
Strange how almost everyone else on u tube thinks they are at least equal or prefer the Camry. I don't get it. I drove them both. I will admit pricing push me into the Toyota. But nothing felt cheap about the car.
The majority of the positive reviews came during the embargo time. This means one thing, Toyota invited them to their press event and expects a positive review. I never watch the first videos, they are not genuine because brands expect positive reviews otherwise no invites.
@@thatr34monster49 I hear you. But I did drive both of them. The Accord did appear to reflect it's generally higher cost. My only point is the Camry didn't feel cheap. A Mitsubishi mirage feels cheep. No offense anyone. It's also just easier to pick and pay for what you want on a Camry. My last car was a civic touring. Great car. No problem with Honda at all. It will be interesting to see future thoughts on this car.
@@Offensively-normal the way that piece fell off is pretty embarrassing, thats cheap out. I will go to a dealer to see it in person, maybe he is wrong 😑
@@thatr34monster49 The press cars get beat up pretty bad. It probably went 4-wheeling at some point. " It's got AWD, let's see what it can do". A knee or two later we have a trim piece on the floor.
I just bought the 2025 Camry XLE: he is right about his interior impressions: I have 2 Mazdas that feel so much more well put together, Japanese made models like my 2021 Mazda Cx-5. Hopefully the Camry is a good car but I’ll trade it back in if it isn’t. I do have a problem, my headliner has torn after the first use of my panoramic roof. I took photos and took to Toyota service and they will install a new headliner.
Finally, someone calls out Toyota for their cheap build quality and material. It only took me one 2019 Camry XSE (brand new) to understand that this brand is truly not built like other manufacturers. Both back windows and panoramic sunroof went out within a year and a half. So do with that what you will but I'm not a returning consumer.
They use a lot of plastic that’s for sure. I got a 2020 Corolla LE, and I it’s the same story. Toyota has always been known on their engines, their interiors are just bland as expected
Even Lexus doesn’t have the best interior quality. Our 2014 RX with 200k miles has had a lot of the tech replaced and is still having problems with the airbag system and other technical stuff. The power seats are starting to go out, the door armrests are coming lose from the door, and the leather is becoming lose. In a happy note, the engine is still smoother than a new GM or Ford.
ACCORD any day of the week and twice on a sunday. Camry looks too busy while the Accord looks sophisticated and is something that you can walk out of in a red carpet event.
I test drove the accord it's an awesome car. Just wish it wasn't ugly on the outside. If the accord looked better I would have bought it a few years ago. Right now I'm cross shopping between the new civic hybrid and the Camry.
Seeing these reviews it definitely have to take it with a grain of salt as it differs from person to person. I also test drove both back to back and found the Camry to be much more comfortable and smooth. I much prefer the seating position of the Camry. Although I didn't go tugging and pulling on all the parts in either car, I prefer the dash layout of the Camry over having the screen sitting on top of the dash. Styling wise, it's definitely subjective, but I much prefer the Camry styling. I originally wanted to get the Accord before the new Camry was announced, but I didn't like how big it felt and low it sat and kinda glad I waited a bit now the Camry is out. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either car, go with what you like, not what others people say.
Finally someone who’s being honest about the looks vs the Accord. I’ve seen other videos where Journalists would shy away from saying anything and then you have the Toyota fanboy Journalists who think that the Camry is even better than Lexus 😂. Overall the Accord will age better. Honda has learned from the Germans (mainly Audi) on how to do clean lines. Not the most exciting look, but it’s classy.
I test drove both the 24 Accord Hybrid and 25 Camry Hybrid. The Camry was a hot mess. The Accord drove so smoothly. Other than the annoying drone noise when backing up the Accord, I would have never guessed that I was driving a Hybrid.
I noticed that too, the amount of channels that keep covering the Camry and raving about how its the best sedan Toyota has ever created is hysterical. For some reason it feels like there’s a big bias towards the Camry. Im sure it’s a great car, but so many reviewers only focus on the positives and barely touch on the negatives when we all know that every car has them.
Damn this might be one of the few Camry haters out there … man complained about almost everything in the Camry like he had a bad experience owning a Toyota in the past and wanted revenge 😂😂 the Camry objectively seems better than the accord
Did he pull on any of the accord parts and pieces to see if they would come off? Because I’ve had 2 Hondas lately that had a host of issues from loose belts being found in the engine bay to bad paint and hvac problems etc. I just bought my first Toyota- the 2025 Camry. It’s a good car.
@@djplonghead5403that’s not a mistake, for stupid environmental reasons due to Obama administration climate scams, I mean goals, Honda removed lead from their paints. Not their pant has issues. My new Toyota Camry, a 3 week old 2025, has some slight bumps and divots I see. So it’s a steel panel that should have been sanded and maybe the car had tiny particles land on it just before it was painted. I try to not be OCD and just realize these are machines created by people. These cars are built in Kentucky instead of Japan like my Mazdas.
The Accord all day for me, never been a huge fan of Toyotas quality and driving characters. Both of these cars will be very reliable over the years and will cost about the same to own, it usually comes down to preference.
I disagree, the Accord looks very old and conservative, besides; no match in many different aspects like the lack of rear vents in the Accord and also the lack of Spare tire, 360 degree Cameras… etc
Started with a 1980 Corolla; best car; no problems for 85k miles. Then replaced water pump for $25 myself. Sold car for 60% of new after 7 years. Son owned a 97 camery and was another great car. Since then I have owned Accords. Their interiors are nicer (less cheap) but not the deciding factor. The big negative is the Dallas market where all Camry's & Corollas (assume other models also) arrive with high priced add-ons like scotch guard, pin stripes etc adding on another $1000+ cost. It is a non-starter. Honda dealerships purchase mostly higher end trims getting additional revenue this way however I tell them to give me a call when they get a lower end trim...which has worked (like end of quarter when they want to make their numbers).
Sam, i’ve owned plenty of Toyotas and the build quality is excellent. Was that a press car that somebody broke? I don’t think that’s a common issue. I think you need to look at another Camry XSE. The Accord looks pedestrian. The Camry looks sporty. I had a 21 XSE, awesome car.
I drove both Camry 2025 and Accord 2024. The Accord drives better yes but the Camry has much better suspensions and much quieter cabin and more comfortable seats. Quality of interior I thought both are really good with a small edge to the Camry.
you are wrong, 2025 camry is just plain ugly. I just bought a brand new Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited, and that one feels very cheap, JBL speakers sound like my old ford escort speakers.
@eg-desktopbackup9678 bra You need to get your eyes checked if you think your accord looks better. LOL or you're 90 years old, ha ha. You can keep that grandma accord
@@kennethshores8547 my dear friend, we compare Honda Accord vs Toyota Camry, not Honda vs BMW😆. Both are family cars. And in my opinion, the Accord looks much sportier.
I would love if Honda could make the front end of the Accord to look a little more like the Civic for a mid cycle refresh. Also if they could replace the fixed headrest in the back seat for adjustable ones and for crying out loud put a map pocket behind the driver’s seat!!!! These are features that my 2010 Accord has and it drives me crazy that the new one doesn’t. I couldn’t care less for the panoramic roof or AWD so I’m good with that. Overall I prefer the styling and the interior of the Accord and now, thanks to this video, also the fit and finish. I have driven neither of them yet but, based on all the reviews that I have seen, I think I would prefer the more refined driving experience of the Accord.
Personally I think the Camry still looks better. ...but the cabin falling apart is a deal breaker. Luckily I have the prior gen. And its zippy for sure and dare I say handles pretty good. I was always a Honda guy but the new Accord is just too blah for me. The prior gen was great IMO but I didn't care for their hybrid system. Looks like you'll have to jump up to Lexus Es to fix this camry which means $$$. I wonder if this is one of those things that can get rectified in the 2nd year.
Please tell me why you are a fan of those 19 inch wheels? Those oversized wheels leave very little room for tire sidewall! Not very good for navigating the poorly maintained roads in North America. They make absolutely no logical sense. I have been noticing that just about all the car manufacturers are putting these ugly wagon wheels on the higher trims. This is making it very difficult for the consumer who understands this. For most sedans 17 inch wheels would be sufficient fitted with a 50 profile tire to protect your investment from road damage.
Agree. The same is happening with the Civic (18" on all but the LX with a 40 or 45 series sidewall). They're designed for handling, but the tradeoff is in the durability of the tire and wheel itself, along with degraded traction in snow. The Camry SE offers an 18" wheel (50 series sidewall I think??) which gives a little more sidewall.
This is such a refreshing review. 👏🏼 Toyota will do the job and be reliable and efficient but besides that it doesn’t excel well in anything else, which is fine for most people and I respect that. The Accord is a much more well rounded package, punching above its weight, and heavily underrated.
The accord is nice but not better than the Camry the actors hard tons of issues with the transmission, and their hybrid system not as reliable, and let’s not forget who’s smart used it was in the earth dreams engine to coat the wires in SOY which attracted rodents to crew through the wiring. 😒😒😒😒😒
Excellent review. This will help keep the Toyota dealers at bay when they try to gouge people with ADM's and Dealer installed options. Their cars are not all that and more. It's interesting the different opinions and experiences people have with these two cars. I have a 2018 Camry LE Hybrid and love it. But I watched a German RUclipsr review his 2019 LE Hybrid (same car) and totally pick it apart. He found things wrong with it I had no idea were even a problem, and still don't to this day at 128k miles. But with all these varying opinions and experiences on these channels, we are armed with a lot of foresight and information when choosing a new car. My advice is to watch all the videos on these cars you can absorb and then test drive them, armed with knowledge to make the best decision that works for you.
They are both great but have their negatives. The Accord to doesn’t have a spare. The Camry doesn’t get rear heated seats- but all models get 2 zone climate and rear vents. The Accord to has an overall larger space and more mature look. The Accord also has a quieter but less powerful power train compared to the Camry. Both systems are great but depending on what you do one might be better than the other. Toyota has more experience with hybrids. They have different interiors but both are useable and have enough physical buttons.
SUVs/CUVs will never have better or even as good of a mpg rating as a sedan. Also, as a Honda owner, I actually prefer the Camry design. I think this view concurs with most other people I’ve spoken with
It did 😂 It looked way cleaner and spacious without that useless trim piece. That’s why the accord has the edge with the design of the dash in my opinion.
Last month I test drove the new 25 Camry and 24 Accord. Bought the 24 Accord. Camry has a, look at me now I’m in desperate need of attention look. Love the minimalist design of the Accord.
Drove both cars. You can’t go wrong with either. Both fantastic cars. But liked the more sophisticated look and driving of the 25 accord SE. Didn’t care for the lines of the 25 Camry plus the tester I drove had a rattle in the dash somewhere. I want to like Toyota again but with past issues with paint quality and now build quality I went with the accord which felt very solid inside.
I agree on the low quality in newer Toyota models! I feel like the Toyota crown, Camry, and grand highlander are the worst! Sucks because I really like the previous model Camry’s and Highlander’s especially when equipped with the V6! What a shame, Toyota…
Finally some truth! Of course Toyota fans are not gonna like this video.. Fuel economy is better in accord as well on the contrary to blind fans saying Camry is the synonym for MPG
Camry looks sportier and am getting it for my teen cause he picked it over Accord. Accord looks very clean and mature (except the cheap looking plastic backlights) and it will probably age better. Can’t see myself driving either one of these though.
IMHO the Camry looks better. I prefer a higher seat position. Also, the Camry has an AWD option. Lastly, the Camry is couple inches shorter. Better for parking. I don't want to feel like I am docking a boat when parking.
I’ve own both over the years. I would go with the Camry if bring back the TRD with 300hp with the i4 turbo. I had the 2.0T previous gen Accord, sadly Honda didn’t bring back the 2.0T on this generation.
This youtuber is making up crap. I have driven both and i can tell everyone that the toyota feels better. Theres a lag also of 1 second when you plant you foot on the pedal when it comes to the honda-its strange. The toyota is fun, feels responsive and we know they dont break for 250,000ks. Honda feels maybe slightly more premium inside the cabin. But outside its ugly. Its a comfortable but boring drive.
Accord is getting better over the years. Profile of the 10th generation is quite sleek. I would wrap the top in midnight metallic black with the side mirrors
when you compare fuel mileage, let not compare AWD with front wheel drive, and lets actually measure the fuel burned in gallons or litres to the miles driven, the onboard calculation has too many variables, as a car guy I would think you would know this
This man is accord guy lol but have you asked yourself why Camry is still the best in the market?? Lol you force the dashboard to come over for Camry to look bad lol 😂. Camry is the way
Honda consistently beats Toyota on build quality and materials, but Toyotas usually have more inspiring power trains. Both super reliable mechanically tho. I just wish Toyota would do better on interiors.
For the first time in my 41yrs...i prefer the Camry. Don't own either, haven't driven either. But from pure aesthetics, the toy wins IMO. I've heard the new Accord is like what Toyota would call the Avalon. For a Buick impersonator with better reliability, the Accord wins. For dynamics, the Camry. Just what I've read. Can't believe it either. I miss the Mazda being around. I remember the new 6 releasing in like 2013, that was such a sharp car.
The accord is better, but it’s not perfect either. Hoping the refresh next year makes it look better as well as fixing the omissions like a 360 camera.
Accord doesn’t have a lot of basic or high end features which is a shame. It doesn’t have spare tire, no real tire pressure read out, no 360 camera, no high adjustment for passenger front seat. Toyota at least tries to offer more features in their car. They even have 2 year free maintenance. I agree that Honda drive better, but come buying time, consumer won’t ignore those short comings from Honda. They don’t even put a seat lumbar support in the Honda Civic which people complain for years.

But the mazda is the best driving japanese car ever. #toyota should learn with mazda skyactive technology with their precise driving experience. The steering wheel is connected to the wheel nicely. The seats, the steering design, the throttle placement, the lower dashboard for insane visibility. #toyota should improve these

This Honda more reliable? The direct injection engine will have carbon build up, and Honda have injector failures right out of the gate with their CR-V's and Accords. Improper manufacturing of high pressure fuel pumps, not to mention wondering steering wheels at highway speed.

It's funny that you mentioned it. The first day I got the 11th Gen Civic. I looked at its butt and the side profile. I talked to myself: "Is this thing a mock up A7 sportback?". It's body ratio and everything looks much like the A7 lol. 😂
Good review. The Accord is underrated. Its well built has excellent IIHS updated crash test results and is roomy. I will knock it for a passenger seat without a height adjustment and is a little sparse on the options . Styling is subjective but It gives off an Audi vibe to me. Perhaps you had a bad example of the Camry that trim should not have fell off on the other hand modern Toyotas have not impressed me with interior quality and layout and now with some power plant issues on products they seem to have taken a step back in quality /reliability .
For my 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid, I had to buy a spare tire kit as living in the desert with extreme heat is not ideal with a flat, and the inflatable kit Honda gives you is useless for sidewall blowout. One other review said the Camry is smoother riding so that could be a plus and the Camry's touchscreen is integrated into the dash. Still, I'd have to drive them both to make a decision, and as a senior, the sporty styling of the Camry is less to my liking than the rather bland Accord.

I rented a new Camry for a week…I could not disagree more with this review. Did you get a bum car? No rattles, solid build, great driving. I received 50mpg. I’m an accord owner so I will be checking that one out too, but a lot of this review does not mesh with what I experienced.
Agree
For the Accord, the top two trims (EX-L and Touring) have back seat AC and USB ports. I have a 2023 EX-L hybrid, and I love it.
Maybe I need to "test drive without intent to buy."
The spare tire is missing in the Accord because, in a collision, it becomes a missile aimed at the HV battery.
@@jeffjo8732 Accord EX-L and Sport Touring have A/C vents and USB ports in back.
The 25 accords now have standard rear ac vents and usb and spare tire across all the trims.
I’ve watched so many reviews on the Camry. You are either not biased or not bribed by Toyota. I hope you prove more videos like this one.
It’s not bribery, generally I believe, journalists are worried to upset Toyota. They are a big brand with two companies. There are brands that can get upset very easily and not give you cars
Let’s call it emotional bribery
Uber drivers prefer more spacious - especially in the back seat - Accord.
the numbers have proven it before so their assumption is valid
can't take a guy who calls taxis and ubers serious drivers serious 🤣.
btw, fleet sales don't count as car buyer sales which means accord is the best seller!
I bought a new 2025 Toyota Camry SE 2 months ago and I love it! 💙💙💙

I have the new Camry in Reservoir Blue and I enjoy it
Can't wait for the Sonata, Camry, Accord drag race.

@@caaspark I saw it. I just want Sam to do one with all three. It's sorta his thing.
Toyota Canada will not allow drag racing for their none performance cars. Will find someone
I saw the new Camry last week. The side-profile and greenhouse are indistinguishable from the old model. I don't think this Camry is truly "all-new".
@@TheBreakfastLover It has the 5th gen HSD.
The 6th and 7th gen Camry have the same general design too, all carmakers do it
@@azuproduces the Accord's greenhouse and body panels have always been all-new with each generation.

Hopefully the Camry is a good car but I’ll trade it back in if it isn’t. I do have a problem, my headliner has torn after the first use of my panoramic roof. I took photos and took to Toyota service and they will install a new headliner.
Toyota is dropping

The new Civic hatchback hybrid looks awesome
Honda
I am assuming they should take your comment with a grain of salt or less..

I actually like the look of the Accord, in fact since day one
I like the Camry look better. The old look on the Honda Accord is a better look.
Toyota is Lexus. The only difference is some upgraded materials and soundproofing & that’s about it.
Damn this might be one of the few Camry haters out there … man complained about almost everything in the Camry like he had a bad experience owning a Toyota in the past and wanted revenge 😂😂 the Camry objectively seems better than the accord

Personally I think the Camry still looks better. ...but the cabin falling apart is a deal breaker. Luckily I have the prior gen. And its zippy for sure and dare I say handles pretty good.
Because I like them
@@SamCarLegion Learn how to shift manual, lol.

Accord has that Audi like design I like that…..I’d definitely take that in touring with black on black over Camry

The accord is better, but it’s not perfect either. Hoping the refresh next year makes it look better as well as fixing the omissions like a 360 camera.

Lmao😂 everything you’re touching falling off of the Camry is cracking me up. Lol but thanks for the honest review of it. I have a 2002 Camry that was very well-built and I like it. I think I’ll just keep it and forgo any new Camrys.
I really don't like the new Camry. I have a refreshed 2024 Hyundai Sonata and I LOVE IT!. A lot of extras as standard features on basic level trim.
For the money Camry is my pick
Wow! Toyota workmanship has really gone downhill since its new management has taken over. This is really bad! Are you watching this Toyota Customers?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sam, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Thanks for bringing this to the American Consumer's attention!
14:37 totally agree with you. #Toyota nowadays not build the quality but the quantity. Shame on you #toyota. The #toyota never made the best sedan in the lineup. Start over vios, corolla and camry, all of these never felt like good build quality than their competitors. As a toyota fan, i don’t know how toyota build the car with their thoughts (fun to drive). The honda is much better well to drive than all #toyota product. But the mazda is the best driving japanese car ever. #toyota should learn with mazda skyactive technology with their precise driving experience. The steering wheel is connected to the wheel nicely. The seats, the steering design, the throttle placement, the lower dashboard for insane visibility. #toyota should improve these
I wasn't happy with the accord looks at first- but sit inside you will fall in love- now the whole car is just absolutely beautiful. It was accord for me, camry seems more of a moms car- I'll say Lexus all day! if you can afford to step up your game. Happy fishing!
This Honda more reliable? The direct injection engine will have carbon build up, and Honda have injector failures right out of the gate with their CR-V's and Accords. Improper manufacturing of high pressure fuel pumps, not to mention wondering steering wheels at highway speed.
white shirt and shoes look clean 😉. thats brave haha I would have already spilled coffee on it before the morning was over. And I think I would go with the Honda just based on looks.
Man , you need to review all jeeps … Rubicon vs 4xe vs 392
I am not working with those brands
They could do with some tech but then again price up
For my 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid, I had to buy a spare tire kit as living in the desert with extreme heat is not ideal with a flat, and the inflatable kit Honda gives you is useless for sidewall blowout. One other review said the Camry is smoother riding so that could be a plus and the Camry's touchscreen is integrated into the dash. Still, I'd have to drive them both to make a decision, and as a senior, the sporty styling of the Camry is less to my liking than the rather bland Accord.
The Camry is a better car. More comfortable seats, better ride, more reliable engine
Are you saying Honda is not reliable?
@@SamCarLegionthey never said Honda does not make reliable vehicle. They said the Camry has a more reliable engine.
The NA 2.5 hybrid system is in millions of vehicles and is very reliable.
Honda engines have recently had problems with oil dilution and carbon build-up.
SUVs are not as fuel efficient as these two. And the Camry doesn't have 3800lb. And on the highway at 50+ mph the Accord gets worse fuel economy than the Camry, it actually gets worse fuel economy than the 1.5 turbo.
You didn't say a thing about all the technical updates on the new camry because there are a lot. Saying the old camry is better is BS. The same with the Accord.
Hybrid SUVs can achieve similar fuel efficiency if driven properly
@@johnnybegood2078 No. In similar conditions Camry will always get better mpg than the rav4 and the Accord will also have lower fuel consumption than the CRV. Because weight and aerodynamics.
At 70mph camry hybrid gets 45-47mpg, rav4 hybrid gets 38-39.
Yes, the 4wd Camry DOES weigh 3800 lbs. At least. 3650 in 2WD guise.
@@prescottlange No, the heaviest Camry is the XSE AWD and it has 3682lbs and the XSE FWD version has 3538lbs.
@@Eugen-E Yes. Because the panoramic moonroof, which is OPTIONAL and NOT included in that 3682 lbs., adds another couple hundred pounds. So keep editing.
brutal for toyota when that piece of the dash comes off in his hands
They're both nice cars, it's a tough choice to pick one.
Camry, all day, every day accord.Looks like something my grandma would drive
Sam, Hondas new sales man, lol 😅
And you are Toyotas?
@@ryb2189 👍👍👍
Yup. Every review he promotes Honda and bashes Toyota. It’s funny
