Ive always been insecure about the fact that my face is “cute” and wish I looked more mature. Cute seems to be less attractive than a more mature beauty. People think I’m under age, I’m not. It doesn’t help that I’m 5’1. I’m insecure with my sexuality because of this, I can’t see myself as attractive or sexy and sometimes I’m even concerned that men who are interested in me might be into children… has done a number on my self esteem 😢

I have a "cute" face, but my husband prefers it to the stereotypical "sexy" face. He finds cute/sweet more attractive. Just know there are a lot of guys out there who prefer it... And as you get older it is such a blessing. I'm 36 and shock people with my age all the time 😂. It's hilarious. They all think I'm 25. So the cute/round faces tend to look younger much longer. Thinner/sharper features typically age like milk. So we end up with the last laugh 😂

I for sure have a cute face and while it’s nice that people tend to treat me more kindly due to my looks, the biggest downside to having it is that people won’t take me seriously no matter how serious I try to be and sometimes they don’t believe I can do certain tasks so they step in to help me or complete the entire tasks by themselves despite being perfectly capable doing it on my own… Edit: Okay to the people telling me that I have it made easy and should be grateful for being treated like this: you are either an impenitent manipulator or you've never experienced what I've been through. I never said I hated receiving help from others. In fact, I would gladly welcome it because I'm mature enough to recognize when I need it. What I DO hate is when someone automatically assumes I am incapable of doing something solely because of how I look or act. Getting treated like I'm an innocent person who doesn't know any better isn't 'cute', it's downright degrading. Because all it does is make me think "What's the point of trying if no one's going to believe me?" and that is such a depressing mindset to have. No one should feel proud for being treated lesser than what you're capable of. I understand what you mean! I have the opposite. I have what I call "Disney Villain/Evil Stepmother" face. I have a very long face and very arched eyebrows (I don't pluck them that's just how my face is) and people tend to think that I am sexually promiscuous/deviant even though I'm married and I've had only 2 sexual partners my whole life. Married men have thought I would be ok cheating with them and were surprised that I was furious. I can't wear dark makeup, and I've been barefaced for years
1. No you dont have a cute face youre just fat so you think "me have round face = me cute". 2. People dont take you seriously because youre fat. Assuming you were actually cute, I can already tell they treat you like a kid because you act like one. 3. If someone was actually cute, they are attractive to the male gender. It's not the cuteness kids and babies have. No one would be treated like a kid if they looked *cute*. There's baby/kid cute and theres *cute* for adult women.
I don't see it as a downside, let people help you, while you reap the benefits and focus your energy/effort on other important things, you get more things done, it's a win win situation for you!

Because you're conflating "attractive" with "attraction." I've observed that this is the mistake that 99% of the population makes when having this conversation. Just because someone meets all the standards of being "attractive" doesn't mean that you personally will be "attracted" to them. That doesn't make them ugly, it just means that for whatever reason they don't peak your particular interest. Think of it like how most people will usually agree that certain paintings are beautiful, yet, no one has romantic feelings for those paintings. Their appreciation for the beauty in those paintings is cold and detached, something they notice and then quickly forget about. It's the same way with humans. However, unfortunately because of years and years of being programed by romantic movies and novels we always assume that personal romantic interest has to be attached to any person we say is attractive. Therefore when we are not "attracted" to a person our default response is that they are NOT "attractive" dispite millions of other people saying the contrary, example: celebrities. Guys always say I'm cute and hot at the same time. I have round features with slight sharpnes. My kibbie bodytype is soft natural- so it makes sense that I'm both lol. But guys sometimes feel insecure around me so either they act weird or talk bad about me behind my back or try to gossip. The truth is nobody wanted me so I'm still single at 29 ! I have the baby face/ cute. It's like a knife that cuts both ways. On one hand I notice that I'm never taken seriously. As far as women go they definitely prefer the rugged features. A real life example that happened to me in a bar 10-12 years ago I tried picking up this one girl and she turned looked at me and said "does your mommy know you're here" talk about cold blooded. You will age better. Traditional or typical hot faces tend to get more angular/harsh with age. You cant play with makeup or do much to change your face when you have angularity. However, if you have rounded face make up can help enhance and define it. Ive had an angular face since I was 14 and with age, it just gets more define and you can look like a tranny if you overdo your makeup in anyway.

Random people, men and women, always strike up conversations with him because he just looks very approachable and not intimidating. He works in pediatric medicine and kids and parents are comfortable around him, likely because he has these warm, approachable features and a friendly disposition. I guess it depends on the guy and how "cute" the features are. If a guy looks like he's in a baby's body with a baby's face, that might not be too great.

Huh.. i have big round eyes, a big(ish) forehead, small button nose, thin lips, slightly symmetrical face (my nose might go a little more in one direction and i have a beauty mark on only one cheek), and i have a small face. So I'd say im more on the youthful side

I definitely have a cute face cuz everybody thinks I'm 16-17 yo whereas I'm 22 (also the fact that I'm 5'1 adds to it), but then I have this aura of an adult, and also people say I'm slim but curvy (what does that mean? :') ) so I frequently find others staring at me, prolly because my face or height doesn't match by body or aura, or I don't know what. But I have problems with finding my personal style because of all these mixed features :(

I have prominent features of both, I think this is what people call gamine? I've always been told I look really young. I have big round eyes, a small nose, and a short midface. But I also have defined high cheekbones, like I don't need contour at all the shadows are just there on their own. My jaw area gains and loses fat very easily and visably though, so if I gain even 10 pounds the gonial angle isn't really visible anymore (that probably contributes to looking younger also). I don't get a double chin, it's just right on the sides that gets covered. I have always had good tongue posture, breathe through my nose, etc. so I don't know why that happens.

Guys always say I'm cute and hot at the same time. I have round features with slight sharpnes. My kibbie bodytype is soft natural- so it makes sense that I'm both lol. But guys sometimes feel insecure around me so either they act weird or talk bad about me behind my back or try to gossip. The truth is nobody wanted me so I'm still single at 29 ! Sometimes I think to myself what do attractivness be good for if I be single for life ? There are people less attractive and still be happy so I don't give a shit about looks anymore.

I have the baby face/ cute. It's like a knife that cuts both ways. On one hand I notice that I'm never taken seriously. As far as women go they definitely prefer the rugged features. A real life example that happened to me in a bar 10-12 years ago I tried picking up this one girl and she turned looked at me and said "does your mommy know you're here" talk about cold blooded. You will age better. Traditional or typical hot faces tend to get more angular/harsh with age. You cant play with makeup or do much to change your face when you have angularity. However, if you have rounded face make up can help enhance and define it. Ive had an angular face since I was 14 and with age, it just gets more define and you can look like a tranny if you overdo your makeup in anyway.

If she looks young now she still has a good chance to age well but it's not like "hot" faces age worse.

Random people, men and women, always strike up conversations with him because he just looks very approachable and not intimidating. He works in pediatric medicine and kids and parents are comfortable around him, likely because he has these warm, approachable features and a friendly disposition.
I guess it depends on the guy and how "cute" the features are. If a guy looks like he's in a baby's body with a baby's face, that might not be too great.

I have prominent features of both, I think this is what people call gamine? I've always been told I look really young. I have big round eyes, a small nose, and a short midface. But I also have defined high cheekbones, like I don't need contour at all the shadows are just there on their own.
My jaw area gains and loses fat very easily and visably though, so if I gain even 10 pounds the gonial angle isn't really visible anymore (that probably contributes to looking younger also). I don't get a double chin, it's just right on the sides that gets covered. I have always had good tongue posture, breathe through my nose, etc. so I don't know why that happens.
