Excellent, thanks for the video. I took a demo drive the other day in a Model 3 (the new one), and it was pretty nice, I have to say. It was very quiet and fast, and the autopilot changing lanes was a nerve-racking experience. I had my hands near the steering wheel at all times, but I am sure that will change once I get one in the near future.
Just to clarify, autopilot doesn't change lanes. Your test drive had "full self driving," which has "auto lane change" built in and is not a part of the free autopilot feature that comes free on your car. FSD features such as auto lane change is a $99 subscription per month.
@@CharlieLiuPhotography FSD wasn’t activated on this car. Autopilot does change lanes for you when you have an active route and navigation set. I was waiting to see if it was going to exit by it self, but it didn’t.
@@Assassin1959 "FSD Features" can be used independently of one another. Auto lane change from the FSD package does not require FSD Supervised to be enabled, if that makes sense. You can use the other features such as "such park" without having FSD enabled either.
We're getting our Y tomorrow and are thrilled from our demo drive.
So exciting to hear. Massive congratulations on your new Y!
This was great! I just got my Model Y and love to see the accessory haul.
Appreciate you!!
Super informative and helpful for a prospective Tesla owner 🚗🚗
Glad it was helpful!
Good video. 👍
Thank you!
how come you don't drive BYD?
BYD isn't sold in the States
$52k? I just got my MYLR 2024 for 36k off of a inventory discount last month. Tesla loves playing with their prices.
They sure do but massive congratulations on the fantastic deal!
