    Some people say don't insert your finger in your ears instead just lightly press the earlobes....which one is correct? Please guide us....

    • @bharathaYoga
      @bharathaYoga  4 дня назад

      you are supposed to press the cartilage of the ear, not the earlobe or insert your finger into the ear. Specifically, you use your thumbs to gently press the flap of cartilage (called the tragus) that partially covers the ear canal. This helps block external sounds and enhances the effect of the humming sound during the practice.
      Keep practicing. We are hosting an online workshop with Acharya Bharat Shetty, Osiru and Kramatvam, on 25th August.

      Yes good practice it will definitely help. However, try to cover yourself with a shawl or cotton cloth from your neck downwards, especially if you're practicing outdoors. If it's cold, don't forget to cover your head too. Alternatively, practicing in a well-ventilated indoor space can also provide the same benefits. I hope these suggestions are helpful

    Hello Sir..i just want to know whether it is okay to do pranyama in open air when there is breeze? also sitting on a bench and not floor will give the same benefits? please guide

    • @bharathaYoga
      @bharathaYoga  4 месяца назад

      Practicing pranayama in open air with a gentle breeze can be quite refreshing for many people. It's advisable to avoid practicing when there is heavy breeze, as it may disrupt your concentration. However, try to find a well-ventilated room with minimal disturbance.
      Regarding your seating choice, both sitting on a bench and sitting on the floor have their advantages depending on your comfort and flexibility. Sitting on the floor can offer stability and grounding, while sitting on a bench may provide more support for your back and help with alignment. Ultimately, prioritise a position that allows you to comfortably focus on your breath and practice with ease.
