Exactly what's been clearly explained in Thirumanthiram by the saint Thirumoolar thousands of years ago under Praanaayaamam. The Tamil equivalent. The ultimate is 16 breaths inhale, 64 hold and 32 exhale, hence 1:4:2 as well. A beginner could start with the basic ratio and gradually increase over 12"years...Your teaching is commendable. Very clear!

this is very good. according to the hatha yoga pradipika pranayam is pretty much nadi shodhan. after the nadis are clean then you can proceed with kumbhakas. if the person is overweight, or has too much phlegm, then there are practices that can be taken before nadi shodhan.

May I also request you to make a video on correct sequencing of kriyas and pranayamas? For example, I want to include Agnisaar kriya, Naadi shuddhi, Kapalbhati, the 3 bandhas and a cooldown breathing for now in my daily practise. But I do not know the correct sequencing. Your guidance will be extremely helpful.

Nadi shuddi and kapalbati will always come first then your kriya Pranayam and then bandhas. First will calm the mind the and increase awareness. Kriya will allow to perceive chakras with the awareness acquired. Bandhas will intensifies the practice and allow one to achieve breathless state and full blown awareness.
