Forte is one of the most intimidating Disney villains. Him being voiced by Tim Curry only fuels the dark and ominous side of the character, that and the animation of him as well.
Tim curry deserves an Oscar for his performance

Belle was voiced by the same actress,everyone was voiced by the same person.
not all of them. Bradley Pierce didn't come back to voice Chip because his voice has changed, so the film replaced him with Hailey Joel Osment.
Tim Curry as Forte was actually pretty terrifying,in a good way!
I love this movie, definitely one of the better Disney direct-to-DVD sequels. I especially love Maestro Forte, his design is great and Tim Curry's always a plus.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2 is also very good.
I remember watching it as a kid. Great movie to celebrate the holidays.

I can’t imagine the world WITHOUT Angela Lansbury. Angela Lansbury to me, is a goddess that makes me feel all warm inside and everything she touches turns to platinum gold. R.I.P Angela Lansbury, we missed you already. The world will never be the same without you in it. 😥😥
Paul Reubens who played fife in this movie just died after his 6 year battle with cancer!
I had this on VHS as a kid, and I watched it every single year without fail. "As Long as There's Christmas" is one of my favorite songs. There are bits of the movie that I could do without (primarily the "Cut Above the Rest") sequence, but I didn't mind the focus on Forte so much because it's Tim Curry and more scenes with him meant more of his voice XD
And he's the villain. Why would you not want the villain to be featured?

The song “Stories” sung by Belle is my favorite from this movie because it reminds me how inspirational stories truly are and how each story has its own world to explore 🤩

This Beauty and the Beast mid-quel is one of the standout Disney direct-to-video films imo. I like how we get a glimpse of what happened during the events of the first film in this story. Definitely part of my holiday film traditions. Nice to see you cover this film, thanks Nick!🙂

I love Beauty And The Beast: The Enchanted Christmas!!!! It gets me all nostalgic every time. "As Long As There's Christmas" is one of my favorite Christmas songs. In my opinion, I believe that very song sends a valid message regarding the holiday season.
This was one of my favorite Christmas movies as a kid! I watch it every year and still know all of the lyrics to the songs.

The voice of Belle is still the lovely Paige O'Hara as well as Robbie Benson as the Beast :)
I remembered watching this on VHS at my grandparent's house. So nostalgic and Forte used to scare the crap out of me. I think I have seen this one before the original.
There was bonus in the end of my VHS (I'm french)
I really love this Christmas movie, right next to the Grinch who stole Christmas movie. And having Tim Curry playing a dark villainous pipe organ in this movie is very incredible.

Fife saying "wow, would you look at that?" is just an expression; he didn't mean literally for Forte to see that, so Forte got mad for nothing. 😂
Also, Chip needs to be reminded about Christmas and what happened between Belle and Adam (the Beast)...even though he was there for both events. 😂

There's a cool theory that Belle is pregnant at the end of the movie because of how differently she's drawn. To me this movie is more than just a direct to video movie, the animators poured out everything for this and it shows. With most direct video movies, you can see how rushed it was but with this they took very good care of the characters and make sure that they were up to par with its 1991 predecessor. Many of the actors came back for this although Chip was voiced by Haley Joel Osment who would go on to voice Sora in the Kingdom Hearts game series.
When I first saw beauty and the beast, the enchanted Christmas when they started off with deck, the Halls, I was really happy that they started it off right there when the intro came on and buns back Haley, Joel Osmond voice Chip in this, you may know him for voicing sora in the kingdom hearts video games
This is one of the rare times all the original voice actors return for a Disney sequel. Only exception is Chip cuz the original actor grew too old. Definitely the same Belle, maybe she just sounds a bit different after almost 10 years to you.
Oh thanks for letting me know! Great to know the original Belle did voice her as well as the rest of the cast, or most of the cast except Chip haha.

You know, this isn't the only straight-to-video 1997 Christmas movie Tim Curry starred in. He also voiced Mr. Scrooge in an animated straight-to-video musical of "A Christmas Carol" that same year.

Sadly the voice of Mrs Potts died recently, as well as Cogsworth 2018, a couple of additional voices females choir and Lumiere in 2004 :(

I really enjoyed this midquel; it captures the moments we didn’t see in the original as well as addresses the exact point when the enchantment took place. I even found Forte a unique villain, because it never came across my mind of a servant who’d actually wants the curse to remain. Although I would’ve warned him the fault in his plan. Even if the curse became permanent, he’d still be irrelevant. He would’ve lost his humanity and reduced to nothing but a quiet organ. His master would’ve became a permeant feral minded beast and have no need for him anymore. So either way, Forte was doomed to fail. 💛💙❤️💚🎄🥀🎁📖

Loved this since I was a kid. I would daydream about it and just the fandom in general whilst in middle school. I had tummy issues and they found out via testing that I had anxiety and lactose intolerance. I would call home sick from the office every other day, or close to it, and always before gym class, which gave me such terrible agita I had to seek solace in daydreams about my favorite characters. That is still Paige O'Hara and her voice is lovely, and the voice of Angelique was Bernadette Peters, who is also the voice of Sophie in Anastasia, and I agree, they sound lovely singing together. I'll have to agree to disagree with you about Forté. I feel like if you grew up in the 80s and 90s he would have been more effective as a villain to you. Those of us who grew up listening to that voice as a villain will always recognize Tim Curry as an amazing antagonist of our childhoods.
As long as there's Christmas is truly one of my favourite holiday songs!

I understand Forte wanting to relevant and appreciated by the boss, but willing to be bolted to the wall in the same room day in day out for all of eternity is bit much just to be employee of the month.

I have seen this one more times than the original and its honestly so much fun and got a great atmosphere, one of the best Disney sequels for sure :) really enjoy how they handle their relationship too :) the extra depth here is very nice :) plus Forte is a cool villain, very unique :D

Hey, Nick. Have you ever seen Fern Gully:the last rainforest? It's got Robin Williams in as the voice of Batty lol its a good movie.
There are some things I like about this film, but it's kinda hard to overlook how out of character the servants are in this one. Remember how in the original, it was all about 'love takes time'? Here it's like 'Quick, let's set up a bunch of situations to rush them into a relationship!' That just kinda bothers me.
Also, one little request as a possible last-minute Christmas film to react to, the very recent Spirited. That movie's incredible.
I feel like the Beast is out of character as well. At this point in the story he's supposed to be awkward and warming up. Here he is still hostile and aggressive. He wasn't supposed to be like that post wolf attack. I loved this one as a kid but I can see the flaws as an adult.

Oh my gosh I forgot the Christmas Angel is also played by the same voice actress who plays Sophie from Anastasia! That’s Bernadette Peters! I’m not sure if it was intentional or not since Disney *HATED* Anastasia, but in my head canon all the dessert themes in this movie almost feels like a nod to Sophie, because in the scene before Dimitri and Vlad teach Anastasia how to be a Romanov, Vlad describes Sophie as “a decadent pastry filled with whipped cream and laughter” to which Anastasia’s responds “is this a person or cream puff?” 🥹💕

I recall watching this movie many Christmases and enjoying it. Many of the Disney DVD/Video Squeals wasn't well liked and while they wasn't as great as the first film many were also still enjoyable to watch when not playing the comparison game.
I have a Christmas memory of watching the annual Disney Christmas Day Parade and Paige O'Hara (the voice and singing voice of Belle) singing "As long as there's Christmas".
