All three of these stories are great, but Mickey's always had me in tears growing up. It's just so warm and satisfying.
Agreed. I love Mickey Mouse movies
For me, it's the Donald one that makes me tear up now. I actually get super emotional when Huey, Dewey, and Louie give him his dream boat.
@@jongon0848 Same here. The Mickey story comes close but the Donald story gets me good, especially with how everything comes together in the end.
Love the three stories, but yes. Mickey and Minnie's are my favorite and make me tear up always 🙌✨
same😢😢😢😭
This is such an underrated gem. It's a good introduction to Mickey and friends and their world 🤩🤩🤩
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
Mickey and Minnie are my favorite fictional couple and this movie has my favorite scene with them (the ending) and my favorite voice actors for them Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor (May them rest in peace)
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
The Mickey segment, The Gift of the Magi, is based on the short story of O Henry, in which husband and wife, Jim and Della Young, who like Mickey and Minnie here, have not so much money to buy Christmas presents to the other. Della cuts her long hair and sells it to get enough money to buy a pocket watch chain for Jim, while he sells his pocket watch to buy a set of combs for her hair. When they give their presents to each other on Christmas it turns out that the gifts were useless due to both sacrifing their beloved belongings that the gifts were intended for but shows how their love for each other makes them willing to sacrifice their belonging for their loved one, just like Mickey and Minnie do here.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
That's true. I've never actually read the story myself, but it's still cool that they were able to re-tell it here and gave a unique spin to it aswell
Same goes for the Donald and Huey, Dewy and Louie story, which was inspired by Christmas everyday
The Max and Goofy segment is my personal favorite out of all of these. That scene where they think they see Santa is one of the funniest moments in the entire film.
same
Goofy never gave up on proving that Santa is real. He never gave up on anything or anyone.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
I had the cassette tape of this as a kid, and I would just rewind the letter delivery sequence through the mall for ages. Thought it was the coolest thing in the world LOL. Then you've got Extremely Goofy Movie with the X-Games. Disney also partnered with the developers of the Tony Hawk games around this time, and made a surprisingly decent Disney themed skateboarding game. Needless to say late 90s to early 2000s Disney was *radical*
The dynamic between Max and Goofy is just so great! The movies make it even better. Favorite segment too. I just love those two 😄
I always tell people, I really think this movie does the whole “I wish it were Christmas every day” plot device better than I’ve seen it anywhere else. I like that only the people who made the wish were aware that anything was happening. Sometimes they have it where EVERYONE is aware and they all start to get bored of it, when they could easily just choose to stop celebrating Christmas at any time.
And to add to that, they actually made each day Dec. 25th in this movie. Some movies have it where the calendar and time still moves regularly, and the seasons take place as they would, but every day is Christmas. Which again begs the question, “Why can’t you just stop celebrating?”
Also, I like that the way they broke the “spell” was by realizing the importance of the holiday and actively trying to make it great for everyone. A lot of movies literally just have it where the characters try to turn back time or make a new wish to reverse the “Christmas every day” wish, which is way too typical and also makes you wonder if the characters even learned anything from the experience.
Watching these 3 stories during the holidays is always the best! when it comes to Disney Christmas films this is one of their greatest!!!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
15:37 will you look at that, there’s Angelique from Beauty and the Beast on the Christmas tree!
These stories are actually so deep for a film aimed towards children: materialism, poverty, charity, financial struggles and sacrifices. I loved it ever since I was a wee lad, although I couldn’t fully understand what was happening
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
I enjoy watching Disney Christmas films and this one is one of my favorites! I like how each story teaches lessons on what the meaning of Christmas is and how each of these beloved classic characters celebrate it. It’s very sweet and heartwarming.🎄❄️🌟😌
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
I’m so excited you reacted to this😍this is a Disney Christmas classic. I love Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas just as much even though the animation is different
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
Hi
This and Melody Time were two of my favorite Disney movies (that wasn't a princess movie) growing up. Would watch both if these through out the year. Wore out my VHS tapes watching them so much!
Even though i am sick your channel is keeping me entertained
Hope you feel better!!
@@nickflix8657 this is one of my favourite childhood movies
Wishing upon a star is a thing people have been doing since ancient times, believing they can make wishes come true so it's not just a reference to Pinocchio.
I love this Christmas movie as I love these iconic Disney characters! I also loved how it showed the true meaning of Christmas being with friends, family and sharing the love you have for one another!
Loved the reaction Nick and hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
RUclips needs to seriously need to make these movies free with ads on here. So warm and entertaining. I love 💕 it
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
I used to watch this with my younger siblings all the time when I was a kid!! Excited to hop on to see your reaction to it!
20:15 LOL that scene always kills me! I can’t! I’m so sorry! 😂 That’s one of the reasons why the Goofy segment was the best out of all of the 3 in this movie. It was both heart warming but even so… freaking funny.
Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas is such an amazing Christmas film. The last story is based on actual short story "The Gift of the Magi" is a short story by O. Henry first published in 1905. Happy Holidays Nick! 💚❤️🎄☃️🎁
Oh wow, this takes me back...used to watch this all the time every Christmas, but it's been years since I last did.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
One of my favorite Christmas specials of all time! I grew up watching this one and for me personally, it's right up there with classics like A Charlie Brown Christmas and How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
Also Donald getting his dream boat always makes me tear up!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
Donald and Goofy's stories are definitely my favorites in the collection as well; Mickey's is still really good, but it IS based on a story ("The Gift of the Magi"), and I think needed to be a little longer so we could really get into the problems and feelings of the characters. The other two stories were messages that could be told in a short time, but the one for Mickey's really requires the audience to care about the characters involved -and familiarity with Mickey and Minnie just doesn't cut it.
Still a great Disney Christmas that I've watched for a while, so I'm glad you enjoyed it!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
I still watch this every year to get in the holiday spirit
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
The teddy bear here is also the same bear in Extreme Goofy Movie.
Mickey's once upon a Christmas, is a very incredible Christmas movie. I love this movie.

In case you haven't seen the short Mickey's Rival or the episodes of Mickey Mouse Works/House of Mouse, Mortimer Mouse is Mickey's rival over Minnie, referring Minnie as his old flame in the short. He's arrogant, flamboyant, selfish and mean (but not AS mean compaired to Big Bad Pete) and is not above pranking Mickey, as seen in Mickey's Rival. Though here, he's just Minnie's boss at his department store. Wherever it's the same Mortimer or not is debatable, however.
Trivia: Mortimer Mouse was going to be Mickey's name originally but Walt Disney's wife Lillian didn't like it and suggested Mickey instead, so the name got stuck and Mickey's rival got the name Mortimer.
I’ve read Gift of the Magi. Such a heartwarming story.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
A holiday classic! This makes me really interested in seeing you react to Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983). It was how I was introduced to Dicken's A Christmas Carol as a little kid, and despite it being a made-for-TV special during a time in which Disney was struggling, the special has some great animation and ambiance. Definitely worth a watch whether or not you post a reaction.
Definitely a Christmas classic!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
the narrator is played by Kelsey Grammar the voice of Sideshow Bob in The Simpsons
And Stinky Pete from Toy Story 2. He was planned to voice Waternoose in Monsters University, but that scene got cut.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
When I saw Mortimer give Minnie a fruitcake,I could help but think “Well, it could be worse. At least it’s not a 1 year subscription to the Jelly Of the Month club.”.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
The part with the live turkey always cracks me up.😂
Easter egg: In the Goofy and Max story, when they're decorating their Christmas tree, in a box of their ornaments, Angelique (the angel from "Belle's Enchanted Christmas") is there. 15:38. And Max has a Mickey Mouse watch. 7:13 I always joked with my mom that this is how I felt about quarantine: "You can stop COVID now! Please!" because having no school was fun at first, but with quarantine, you couldn't go anywhere, so I felt like Hewey, Dewey, and Louie wishing it was Christmas every day and getting tired of it. I wanted someone to make a meme with Hewey, Dewey, and Louie covering their ears and the caption saying, "You can stop quarantine now! Please!"
I loved this as a kid 🐭🎄
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
Omg i love that movie so much I watched that movie every year of Christmas
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
My childhood Christmas movie 🎉🎄
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
I've seen this soooo many times, I got it as a VHS when I was a kid (about 5-6 years old) and watched it A LOT. I've only seen the Finnish dub though, so it's interesting to see the original!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
This brought back so many wonderful Christmas memories!!!! Thanks so much for this reaction, it was genuinely wonderful 🥰🎄🎁🎉
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
i think i used to watch this all the time! id have to see some of it to remember (commenting in the first couple minutes btw 😎) but omg
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
I adored this film during my childhood - it was definitely one of my favourites. I grew up on a lot of old disney films and loved them so much. My siblings and I watched this one every year. I can't choose a favourite part, haha.
well, actually. maybe the first one was my favourite part.
You should check out Mickey's Twice Upon A Christmas! The animation is different, but I still think the stories are nice. I know the year is ending so maybe next year! I hope you've had a great holiday season! ❤
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
This aired on TV the other day. After so many years of not seeing it, I thought I wouldn't remember anything, but I remembered each segment. Guess it made more impact than I thought 😂
I still recall being the main character for The Gift of the Magi because I had the longest hair. Heh, was kinda hard since my co star was a boy I use to have a small crush on. Nothing ever happened and the feeling went away relatively fast without him knowing anything (unless his cousin who suspected it told him) but I have no regrets. Those are quite the memories.
Hello Nick! I just want to say that I have been a fan of yours for a while. Yes, I remember watching Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas as a kid almost every December. Thank you for the wonderful videos and Happy New Year!
So excited to see this 🥰 love your reactions Nick ❤️
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
The Nephews can be mischivious at times and play pranks at their Uncle, though most of the time, Donald play pranks at Huey, Dewy and Louie and they retatiliate. Though Donald likes to play pranks at people, he can't stand it when someone pranks back at him, wherever it's his nephews, Chip and Dale, Pete or anyone else. The short Donald's Snowball Fight shows the best example of that.
👍👍👍
That had me dying😂💀3:16 I can’t stop laughing🤣lol
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
Hello Nick! I hope you are doing well and that you had a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year as well. I'm glad you reacted to this movie. It's one of my Christmas favorites! And most of all, the story of Mickey and Minnie is my favorite and it always brings tears to my eyes how Mickey tells Minnie that she is the sweetest music he has. I recommend you watch Jingle All The Way (1996) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Take care Nick and happy new year to you!
I love this movie so much❤❤!!Its my favorite movie ever seen💕!you are so awesome Nick and funny😂I can’t wait for the other one to!hope you have a great day💜!
Goofy is such a good dad!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
Great cartoon movie ever love all three stories especially Goofy’s story and Figaro is the same cat from Pinocchio he later became Minnie’s cat, and great reaction Nick
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
since i was a kid ... i still watch this every year. And the mickey - Minnie ending still makes me cry
This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Its also a favorite of my dads so when I moved last year I couldnt take it with me. And so I missed out on watching it last year. I was so happy this year when I found it and I could purchase it. Getting to watch it again was really special.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
I have not seen this movie for years. I might be older. But I am still young for my childhood memories
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
My brother and I still watch this every year, they’re wonderful! 😊
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
That burglar that was robbing Pete's house is one of The Beagle Boys, one of Scrooge McDuck's enemies who constantly tries to steal his money from his Money Bin in Duck Tales (and in the Donald Duck comics by Carl Barks). Three of them also appears as Captain Pete's henchmen in Mickey, Donald and Goofy: The Three Musketeers.
Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas, Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse & Mickey's Christmas Carol were my childhood! I actually really enjoyed the sequel to this film as well!
Yay! I’ve been waiting for this one since you announced it!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*
Donald thought that his nephews were planning a prank cuz they're usually not THAT nice, so he gets suspious of their actions, until they reveal their present to him.
omg nick this movie is soooo good!! i always loved watching this grow up. thank you for inspiring me to want to rewatch it!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
Anyone else think it’s a little creepy that ducks are excited to eat a turkey?
Yeah, I was definitely like "Wait, is this a form of cannibalism?"
Who cares, they're cartoon characters! Besides, that's not the first time. There was the cartoon where Huey, Dewy and Louie tricked Donald thinking he had died and become an angel (though when he was going to fly away, he realizes he has been tricked and goes to punish them in his usual anger, making him look like a devil, especially when he takes a pitchfork) they have a chicken dinner.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
@@otnat2094 no? Turkeys and ducks aren't related, they are just both birds. We eat cows and we are both mammals. Birds are different species, eagles eat other birds all the time
I used to on this movie on VHS. Seeing this movie again plus with your reaction makes it so memorable for me.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
Happy Holidays

This movie was my childhood during Christmas time
I really like this movie 😊 I remember watching this movie every year for Christmas when I was little and always looking forward to it even though I knew what was gonna happen
This was my every year Christmas movie as a kid
I hope you'll react to "Mickey's A Christmas Carol" next! It's a gem from my childhood you're sure to enjoy

By the way, that's Kelsey Grammer as the Narrator!
Mickey is a knows music and Minnie cooks-that is the great cook.
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP*
I love the Goofy one because Max is my favorite character in the Mickey Mouse gang
I had this as a VHS tape as a kid and watched it religiously when I was younger.
Pete is a BAD father! Goofy is a good dad!
*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP...*

Can you react to Mickey's Magical Christmas Snowed in at the house of mouse
That’s a Disney Christmas classic, love that one!

*I've Got Something Special for you Hit me UP.*
Definitely a classic ❤ I recommend Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas too. The animation is 3D but the stories are still really good.. especially the Goofy/Max story.
Nick, Huey, Dewey and Louie, and Max are just kids/cartoons. Of course they're gonna make mistakes! 😂 The important thing is that they're trying to do/be good. And Goofy was trying to do something nice with being Santa and make Max and those kids happy. And him and Max didn't catch on that they were Santa right away.
Also, you can't keep a Christmas tree in the house, especially if it's not store-bought. 😂 It's just not worth over-thinking it. (No hate, you're doing great, Nick. 👍).

Can you pretty pretty pretty please watch the sequel to this. If you liked this one, you HAVE to see the sequel. PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Will try too, might have to do it next year, have had a cold the past couple of days so haven't been able to film yet, but might!!
Wasn’t the sequel negatively received?
It's not worth it

I was thinking about the point that Pete was trying to make about Santa not being real and Max thinking too deep into it, and I realized, I don’t think Santa would go EVERYWHERE! Because not every single place on the planet celebrates Christmas!
Originally Minnie has puppy name Fifi the peke since when Pinocchio was released in 1940 and Figaro was Walt’s favorite character in Pinocchio and he replaced Fifi with Figaro to be Minnie’s cat
