RATT is one of the most underrated and underappreciated acts to ever take a stage. I've been a loyal fan and follower since Day 1 and have seen what the Metal Movement has done to to them, both good and bad. They gave everything they had to the industry and their fans until there was nothing left. God Bless 🎼🎸📢☠️🚨☠️

Warren on “Round and Round” thick rhythm guitar playing was magical to me, sounded like George Lynch or visa versa!!! Heard they were friends at the time...too bad Warren dropped out as time went on. .
Musical perfection and lyrical depth makes this song very much melodic! Ratt and Desmond child are living legends and legend never dies! The most underrated power ballad from their most underrated album detonator. Love ❤ from Pakistan
With so many great 80s metal/hard rock bands, i never really gave RATT the recognition they deserved. I now know what all the fuss was about years later. Fantastic band..love this song.
Glad this younger generation is listening to 80's music , end of an awesome musical era with Detonator album. Grew up with them, miss it! Different time in America then ,was very happy !
To this day, I still think this is one of Warren's top ten solos from the Ratt catalog. Short, sweet and straight to the f'ng point. Criminally underrated. He, Eddie and George understood from the beginning without the swing and groove, all those notes might as well be coming from an amplified typewriter.
I haven't seen this particular posting of Ratt and it's a good variation from the origional video. I liked them back then and still listen to their music today. Grew up with heavy metal and it will always be in my blood.
I still remember i bought this album when I was in junior college back around 98 or 99 , and I was excited to hear this band, i heard all the songs, Warren DeMartini and Stephen were so amazing , and this particular song got hooked me so much that even after 20+ years this is the song i hear before sleeping as it gives me emotional charge to wake up next morning and to make better music everyday
Right on Brother ! It's so great to see someone who recognizes true talent. Robyn was such an underrated and overlooked musician . Also a really great guy. It's a crime what the entertainment industry does and has done to so many artists. I watched Warner Bros. suck the life out of countless young artists over and over again . R.I.P 🤘🎸🎤👯☠️💉🚨⚰️
The one and the only and truly melodic band of all times... Everything is great when it comes from Ratt... Especially detonator and it's hidden gem givin' you're self away..... The most distinctive ballad from the 80's
I was introduced to RATT in '84 with the Out of the Cellar album, it was a tape that an asshole guy older than me asked me to lend it and I did, never gave it back to me, it really hurt me. But I got over it, the guy was older, bigger and stronger. About 20 years later I ran into the idiot and asked him if he remembered that, of course, the asshole said no, I'd grown bigger than him. I just dissed him as you ignore a cockroach but I'm sure he got the message. RATT isn't just a rock band for me, I got that band tattooed in my spirit and my heart, they bring the best memories from my teenage days. I lived in Mexico so I never got to see them in concert until about 9 years ago, but Robbin was gone, I loved seeing them live, but I had always felt that Robbin wasn't fairly treated by them. If there was a member from RATT that I'd have loved to meet it was him. I read the story of how he died and how the band kind of dismissed before he was gone, and how one time he was broke and all he had left was a dog that he loved and it was stolen, that hit me very deeply (I'm a dog lover myself), they said that he was devastated. I feel like his last years were very lonely and sad. Every time I hear this song for some reason it reminds me of him. This band hits me deep, this song hits me deeper, RATT is part of my memories, part of my life. I'm moving to Nashville next week, and I'm somewhat freaked out because I won't have a job, my wife accepted a relocation but I'm leaving my job here in SA and have to start from zero there, looking for something. So yesterday packing stuff I found a poster from Out of the Cellar, it felt good, like a sign that things will be ok, I know they will. Thank you RATT for all the great times, memories, and for still carrying me on your back. We miss you Robbin!!
Cool story bro, I feel exactly how you feel about Ratt, people may say to us "How is some hair band soo special to you' but they are more than just "some hair band" they and their music is just imprinted on our minds and we just can't stop listening and yeah man RIP Robbin 'King' Crosby, really cool guy, should still be here with us, see ya.
I was raised on oldies--well into high school. It was a buddy of mine that eased my transition into rock during my junior year. And RATT was one of the first bands he introduced me to. Instantly hooked! Fond memories of rippin' the streets of KC up in his red Trans Am, blastin' to RATT! Man, what is was like to be a child in the late 80s / early 90s!

Lyrics
You say you don't want me
You say you don't care
You say that your heart
Ain't got no room for me there
You say you don't need me
But I know that it's just a lie
'Cause when you call me in the night
Tellin' me your life is better off without me
How come you're sleepin' all alone
Tellin' me you don't ever think about me...
Hey, you're givin' yourself away
It's there in every move you make
You can't hide your heartache away
Hey, it's somethin' you don't have to say
It's written in the tears on your face
I see through the part that you play
Your givin' yourself away...
Your givin' yourself away...
It doesn't matter what you say
Your givin' yourself away...
Your givin' yourself away...
So you got all your freedom
And you got all your time
So you got the illusion that your doin' fine
So you smile in the mirror
Through the sadness your smile can't disguise
Why don't you come right out and say
Baby you can't take another day without me
You know I'm runnin' through your blood
You need me like a drug and you can't live without me...
Hey, you're givin' yourself away
It's there in every move you make
You can't hide your heartache away
Hey, it's somethin' you don't have to say

He was referring to the band not the music.... The art of rock ballad...!
Warren one of the best guitarist omg beautifully
Queen Cobra is one of the best underrated guitarists of all time
Warren on “Round and Round” thick rhythm guitar playing was magical to me, sounded like George Lynch or visa versa!!! Heard they were friends at the time...too bad Warren dropped out as time went on. .
@@mariannemonagle3310 George Lynch omg big leagues !
Love All of Ratt's music and the musicians. My favorite style of real music
one of the best ratt songs (only really good ballad they released).. released later in their career De Martini solos are so melodic
Closer To My Heart is really good, as well.
Musical perfection and lyrical depth makes this song very much melodic! Ratt and Desmond child are living legends and legend never dies! The most underrated power ballad from their most underrated album detonator. Love ❤ from Pakistan
Great masterpiece of the album "Detonator". With this power ballad I reach the sky.Excellent HD convertion!!
+Alex De Martini Glad you liked it dude!

RATT.most.under-.rated.band.of.the.eighties
nostalga51jo They had a good share of hits. Almost anybody knew them. Why underrated?
AfterAerosmith, the greatest American rock n roll band from then till now.
Night Ranger. Extreme.
@@Albertojedi the "critics" were not big fans of this genre.
I love this song, listening right now, 👍
Brings back memories of the good all days
The best power ballad for me. Thank’s Ratt 🤘🏻
One of my fave power ballads ever.
Estas son las rolas que en lo personal. No quisiera que nunca se terminaran. Y x ello son insuperables y nunca dejarán de gustar🤘
Simply the best music ever...epic.
perfect song..I love this song for a thousand years!
Man and fire primerib
I haven't seen this particular posting of Ratt and it's a good variation from the origional video. I liked them back then and still listen to their music today. Grew up with heavy metal and it will always be in my blood.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ratt ,ajudou e MUITO á diminuir a dor de minha infância !!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I still remember i bought this album when I was in junior college back around 98 or 99 , and I was excited to hear this band, i heard all the songs, Warren DeMartini and Stephen were so amazing , and this particular song got hooked me so much that even after 20+ years this is the song i hear before sleeping as it gives me emotional charge to wake up next morning and to make better music everyday
I' miss the 80s so much their will never be a decade in music like it. I love Ratt.Stephen pearcy is so hot.love you Ratt always and forever.
Amen !!!!!
Monster song, very nice solo by Warren!
Jack Rose beautiful fuckin solo man!
Robbin you were a class act, and are deeply missed..RIP brother.
Randel Dumas Rest in peace
Right on Brother ! It's so great to see someone who recognizes true talent. Robyn was such an underrated and overlooked musician . Also a really great guy. It's a crime what the entertainment industry does and has done to so many artists. I watched Warner Bros. suck the life out of countless young artists over and over again .
R.I.P 🤘🎸🎤👯☠️💉🚨⚰️
Classy people do drugs?
Agreed ! Love you, Robbin
The one and the only and truly melodic band of all times... Everything is great when it comes from Ratt... Especially detonator and it's hidden gem givin' you're self away..... The most distinctive ballad from the 80's
Man, one of the best shows I ever saw in st louis Mo was poison and joan jett opening for Ratt. Excellent, excellent, excellent.
Stuck n 80s proud of it. Like other music. Nuthn like 80s❤🎉❤
Ratt is the way of life... hope you settle yourself nicely ;) Ratt'n'roll
Still Ratting after all the years...and I'll always Ratt...R.I.P Robbin Crosby.
Rock on!! Ratt forever thanks for all the great music.
The 80s Rocked Glad I Grew up with some very cool Music !!
The only one ballad from Ratt in all theur career... Awesome!
My favorite band from any era!! I miss these guys making music like this and always....RIP Robbin "King" Crosby. Long Live Ratt N Roll.
Always, always loved this song.
Am so glad i was born on the right generation.. a lot of memories brings me back to this song
God!! I miss the 80’s!!!!
